The salted caramel is one of my favs, but if you think it's too sweet I'd go for the original milk tea.. My only go to place and they close super late so no excuse not to go. I love the mango smoothie and recently rhe honeydew smothie as well with cream on top. read more

It's a pretty decent boba place in Redlands. Chaca is a place you go to get a decent fill for boba if you don't want to go all the way to Citrus/Mountain Grove area or in Loma Linda. The Lavender Milk Tea,their Thai tea, and passion fruit green tea was pretty good as well. The boba is nice and chewy. It was better than I thought it would be. I haven't tried their other options but I would honestly rate this place a 3.5/5. read more

The chai bubble tea was a little too sweet with full sugar The mango green tea without sugar was good but the rehydrated mango wasn't really for me. The green tea is very strong! I had been eying this place for months and we finally stopped by! Parking is open and available, the tea bar itself was clean and had a few tables open, not really a place you can spend hours studying but maybe have a nice chat with a friend! The people working the counter were super sweets and let us sample their teas before purchasing. I went straight for my favorite, the milk tea with pudding and my husband got a mango yogurt smoothie with boba. The milk tea was honestly my favorite by far of all time, it wasn't sweet at all which most are super over sweetened for me, the pudding was a perfect sweet additive. More than my tea my husbands mango smoothie was so delicious!!! It had chunks of mango and the yogurt was a perfect additive. It's definitely a new fav drink place! read more

I've tried a lot of boba places around town and this place is my new favorite. The boba is just what I love... not too squishy, not too firm, and a little sweet. The teas are also great! I usually order my "usual" but a couple of friends tried some different drinks on the menu and they each loved all of them! I'm motivated to mix it up now. read more

ok first of all the place had a grade B in the door and that was off putting, but we were already there so we decided to give it a chance. The service was great but the chai boba was water down the honey dew was good and tiger boba was ok. It wasn't the best but it hit the craving. I usually come to Chaca if I'm craving boba and I'm out in the Inland Empire. My boyfriend loves their avocado smoothie and I'm a fan of their milk teas.They have a good variety of flavors. The boba texture is usually consistent. Parking is very easy to find. There's a bunch of parking spots in front. read more

There is a parking lot for this location that is shared with the other businesses in this lot. The staff was friendly, the inside was clean, but it's the only place I've ever been to where the boba is hard enough to chew multiple times and feel like it's not getting softer. I was surprised, the pricing was a bit steep, but it was tasty. I was able to adjust sweetness and ice. I hope they add more toppings, soon! read more

So unbelievably happy that a boba place has opened in Redlands. I mean, sure there are restaurants in the area that serve boba drinks but they don't compare to cafes that specializes in boba drinks :) My first time here I got the green milk tea with boba, with less sugar and less ice. It was really good! Subtle yet creamy and you could taste the tea without the milk overpowering it, plus the boba was nice and chewy, not too firm and not too soft. Then the second time here, I tried their regular boba milk tea. This time I used the Yelp check-in for the 1 free topping, but the cashier actually forgot to include it my total in which he apologized and upgraded my drink to a large instead which was so nice of him. The drink itself was again super good, perfect ratio of tea, milk, and sweetness. Overall, this place has great drinks and even better service. I'll definitely be back soon to get my boba fix! read more

5 stars for the sea salt caramel!!!! I love this drink. The caramel is not strong at all (I cant even really taste it), but it tastes very delicious!! I can't put my finger on what it is... mix of salted honey milk tea ? But it is much better than how I am describing it. I love how creamy it is and it is not too sweet despite its caramel component. I got mine with chia seeds because it's a good boba substitute if you want to be a little healthier or if you don't like chewing the boba balls. I would come here all the time if it weren't so far from me! read more

Worst place ever. Stood in line behind two others for 15-minutes. Lady comes after me a walks in and orders 2-3 drinks. I let one girl know "hey I've was before this lady" I gave her my order and after a few minutes i notice shes making the order for the other lady!! Tells me i need to wait in line. WTH??? The tea bar is very clean. Nice atmosphere. I didn't wait long for my drink even though there was only one employee making the drinks and the other worked the register taking everyone's order. Came in to finally try their boba teas! I love that you can make your drink more or less sweet. The employees were very friendly and let me sample both the milk tea and the Thai tea. I ended up going with the milk tea (because it was less sweet) with boba and it was delicious. There were also people studying there, but it was kinda loud with the blenders. It would be a fun place to grab a tea and hang out with friends. Will definitely come back as it is down the street from my house :) read more

This tea shop is wonderful, the decor is comforting the drinks are yummy and the price is def reasonable. My mama had a tea with sugar and lemon. I had the mango tea, both were very delicious. They also have boba, slushes, milk tea, shakes, and toppings. They do not have any food options. They take cards as well as cash, and do have indoor dining. read more

I am very happy to report that I found an amazing place with great drinks and boba. They are personable and attentive. The place is so clean. Many young people hang here and plug into the computer world and seem to be enjoying their time. The drinks are exceptional and it is worth a trip to check them out. Two doors over is Naan cafe. Everyone buys their drink here and eats the Eastern Indian food. Very very good. Found my drink of choice through the process of elimination...AVOCADO FRAPPE with HONEY BOBA!!! It's their #1 seller. Does not taste like avocado at all. It's kinda like the Asian ice cream MOCHI flavor called green tea MOCHI! But really special tasting. Yep...found my Fav! I can't tell you how many times I've ordered brown sugar boba in my drink and NOT received it. I've also asked to have milk substitutes and they would give me milk and I would get horrible rashes. Chaca used to be my favorite boba spot back when it opened but they're just so unreliable. Unless you want to be disappointed, do yourself a favor and please don't come here. read more

They know my order and they no matter who is making it, it always tastes the same. I always order the peach yogurt except I replace the water with black tea to give it that caffeine jolt. I think I'm in here 4 times a week. My hubby also really likes the mango yogurt. The employees are all really nice. One requirement I have for good boba is if you are chewing on JUST the boba, is it enjoyable? These boba pearls taste like little honey candies. Mmmmm Don't like your drink? They will remake it. I think this is very honorable since they really do care that u leave with a drink that will make you happy. Warm boba? It's supposed to be that way to have consistent texture.. stir your drink it'll be fine read more

Was excited to find this place! I got their blueberry milk tea special that's dairy free. I thought it would be more like a original milk tea type of flavor but it had more of a yogurt taste to it and a very strong blueberry taste. They have a pretty extensive menu and I'm excited to try their sea salt series next time! The interior is very clean with a few tables and long bench for seating! It wasn't that crowded when I went which made it a potential future study spot for me hahah read more

This place has had a Grade B for over six months now. What's going on? Used to be my favorite boba place...

My avocado smoothie was first handed to me and so I tried a sip and realize that it tasted more like a regular "milk tea" and no trace of avocado. So I went to the counter gave my smoothies back and kindly asked the 2 young ladies behind the counter to please make it again since it didn't really taste like what I had ordered, she hesitantly took it back and said ok we'll make you another one. Another gentleman who heard my complaint had asked what I had ordered and I told him I ordered avocado smoothies but it didn't taste like it; he too ordered the same thing and thought also that it tasted more like milk tea than avocado, so he too, handed his full cup of smoothie and requested they make a new one. The new set of smoothie was a little better and had at least a hint of avocado taste, but I decided not to say anything more since I was pressed on time. She handed me my 2 orders of popcorn chicken and I quickly left and head for work. I had open up my bag orders of popcorn chicken to eat just before starting work and and to my disbelief both orders of chicken was heavily loaded and coated with chili powder that made it too spicy to eat. All in retaliation because I had asked them to make the correct smoothie order that I had initially asked for. I've been going to this place for over 15 years and never had I encountered such behavior and unprofessionalism. What a disappointment. To the 2 young ladies working 8/11/26 between 1-3pm, you won't get far nor have much success in life if this is how you deal with your customers/clients. CUSTOMER SERVICE RATE 0/5!

It looks like you can order at the counter as well, but there was a sign noting that the counter is cash only, so most people seem to use the kiosks. There's a decent amount of seating with both indoor tables and a few outdoor spots if you want to hang out for a bit. Our go-to here is the peach iced tea, which is super refreshing. My husband usually orders his with honey jelly, and I love the peach green tea with mango popping boba--it's delicious. If the place is busy, there can be a little bit of a wait, but the line moves pretty quickly and drinks usually come out fast.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because one of our drinks was the wrong order, but other than that their drinks were a hit. Our server was quick with our large order and I wouldn't mind trying other iced drinks throughout the Summer either. I ordered a hot rose cardamom latte with oatmilk which was just ok for me, my co-worker ordered an iced strawberry latte with orange cold foam ,but received an iced strawberry matcha instead. Luckily she also likes matcha and it was really good, so she wasn't that disappointed. My other co-workers ordered a hot honey cinnamon cappuccino with oatmilk, an iced golden hour from the spring menu, a cortado and a cinnamon roll. The golden hour was an iced mango lemonade topped with matcha and she loved it. The cortado tasted real authentic according to my other co-worker. The cinnamon roll shared amongst a few of us was to die for! We're definitely coming back.

Well I went to CHACA yesterday, I had a great experience like the first time I went there during February, everybody was friendly, there was no awkwardness, my drink was spot on, and that one dude wasn't there haha. And I really wanted to rewrite my old review and leave a positive review.. Until I saw that my previous review that I didn't even write less then a week was removed, because why?? Because I honestly gave my opinion, so I am deciding to post it again in this review. (May 14th, 2017) "Wow, the last time I came to this place was during their soft opening in February. And I had such a great experience during that time, and when I was gone in a different country for work all I could think and crave about was CHACA! I remember a girl who had long hair Tiffany or Stephanie, I can't remember her name but she gave amazing customer service and went out of her way to do anything to please the customer. Really I hope she stills works here because I didn't see her, and I am worrying this place went downhill. Now let me explain what happened, I went to the store yesterday 5/14, mother's day!! I was in a great mood after seeing my mother after being gone for so long, and I thought I would treat myself to a drink since I have been gone for so long and it is only a 3 minute walk from my place to there. As soon as I walked in I was quietly greeted only by one their employees, Brenda but I could just feel the awkwardness as I step through. This other employee Richard wasn't even smiling he just avoided eye contact with me. I saw that there was a new special going on and I am sucker for specials, as soon as I ask the cashier Brenda about it all she did was point and tell me to read it myself, haha I guess she didn't know about the special either. She didn't look inform about it lol But she nicely took my order, I got a Sea Salt Caramel Milk Tea with boba, my favorite from the first time I went here. Richard made my drink, the entire time while making it he seemed annoyed and not happy, and when I got it he just quietly called my number and didn't even acknowledge me when I said thank you to him. Seriously they need to talk to him or fire him, he brought down the entire mood of the shop that day. I was thinking of staying to sit and wait for some friends that were going to come later, but I didn't want to stay a second longer with all the awkward air coming from this employee, ruining the mood for me the customer and everyone else working there. And when I left the cashier girl said goodbye, but still the male employee didn't say anything and just went to the back of the shop. I felt bad for the girl that had to work with him all night, I would have quit if I had to stay with him the entire night. Yikes, Also I'll be back later to get another drink. But if I see this Richard employee again I won't come in, they will have to lose one customer until they get rid of him or put him on less shifts so I don't have to see him. This was seriously my worst experience in a store ever. Get back the old good employees, I miss the ginger girl (Tiffany/Stephanie I am so sorry I cant remember your name) and the other dude who used to work here!!" This was the review I wrote, I wasn't lying and I was really hoping this was helpful for everybody. Now let's see how long this will stay up so I can spread awareness about this store. read more

Chaca Tea Bar is seriously one of my favorite places to grab boba tea! Their drinks are always delicious and consistent. I usually get the Sea Salt Caramel Milk Tea, it's slightly caffeinated, which gives me the perfect little pick-me-up around 4 PM (just not too late, or I'll be up all night!). I love how the drink is cold but the brown sugar boba is warm, it's such a comforting combo and tastes amazing every time. My husband loves the Mango Boba Tea, and my son is all about the Oreo Shake, he never gets anything else! Plus, if you do a Yelp check-in, you get a free topping, which is a nice bonus. It's also a great local hangout spot for young adults, and I love that they offer fundraiser opportunities. During a three-hour window (usually between their peak hours from 2-7 PM), anyone who mentions your organization, Chaca will give back 13% of their order, such a fun and easy way to raise funds while enjoying good drinks and good vibes. The ambience is great, with music always playing and free Wi-Fi available. It's not a huge space, but if you snag a table, it's a cozy spot to relax or get some work done. The staff is always super fast and friendly, and the service time constantly impresses me. Their prices are also reasonably competitive especially for the quality they produce. I went in on Tuesday 26, and I was filled with disgust with one employee that worked there. Her name was Kenz or Ken, I don't know man but her face is in the avatar for this shop's yelp page, so yall beware. She was rude to me and my girlfriend, not even smiling once when she took our order and not saying anything when we left, she was talking to a girl in the back when we left. Me and my girlfriend couldn't see her but assumed that was their cook or something..? Just unbelievable, worst date stop, worst customer service, and worst employee ever! And my girlfriend got a Strawberry Slush, it was horrible as well. This Ken person made it like a juice, it was water down and it didn't even look like a "blended" drink, what that girl called it when she suggested it when my girl asked about it. I am never coming back, and my girlfriend, family, and friends also agree to never come back. They are missing out on now over a 100 customers thanks to this girl, and her awful way of making a "slush." Does she even know how to make the drinks at this store? read more

Okay I went again yesterday (June 3rd) like I said in my previous review I would do. And I did stand incorrect about the employees! I went with my family yesterday morning and was greeted with two new friendly faces, Tian and Tiffany. They were nice and outstanding. Tiffany helped pick out the perfect drinks for me and my family. And Tian fastly and smoothly made all of our drinks. (And he kindly placed it down and told us our drinks were ready with a smile, unlike another worker here) When we were ready to go both them gave their attention to us and nicely said goodbye and to have a nice day. I love this place! They have the best boba in town- honey! There is always fun music playing and cute decorations that change with the holidays. Wi-Fi is available with a clearly posted password. Everyone who works there is always friendly and willing to answer questions and give suggestions. I've enjoyed everything I've tried which includes iced honeydew milk tea, iced Thai tea with salted caramel cream, and hot rose milk tea among other things. Their service is always very timely even when they are busy which I appreciate. Lastly, I am immunocompromised and greatly appreciate being able to go somewhere that has observed covid precautions throughout the pandemic and puts the safety of customers, employees, and our community above all else. Chaca is one of my favorite places to get boba! I come here pretty regularly with my family and my favorite is probably rose green milk tea but i really like brown sugar milk tea too. I have never had a bad experience here either, the staff is so friendly and they make your order SO fast. I also appreciate the safety precautions that they take here to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. I personally lost a family member to covid, he contracted it because he was exposed to someone who didn't believe in wearing masks. So i really appreciate that this business takes that so seriously and continues to enforce masks, social distancing, and keeps the store so well sanitized. read more

After reading about this place on FB, I had to check them out. I'm sure glad I did. It's nice to see a business take the health and safety of their staff and customers seriously. Masks are required and they have extra available if you need one. No one that I could see was passing out or suffering brain damage from the imaginary lack of oxygen. It's too bad that some adults have to act like children when they don't get their way. I'm just sorry that I missed Jessilyn and Ako's temper tantrums. Portion size was good, the fries were for my toddler which he loved. Staff were amazing. The almond milk tea was spot on. Definitely coming back..

I went in to try their tea. I had to order at the regular restaurant side...which was miss leading…read morecause the outside sign indicates that the tea place to separate from the restaurant. When I asked how long it would take for just a tea, the cashier said she didn't know so I had to leave because I had a time constrain and ended up going thru the MacDonalds drive thru to get a tea. The menu is filled with all the different drinks/flavors that any sugarholic would approve. I had my usual Thai tea and forgot to mention HALF-sweetened.....so you can imagine how my sugars went through the roof. Flavor is great but waaaaayy too sweet. The area is nice and cozy....great place to hangout with friends and have a snack/drink. It's relatively clean.....though a bit noisy. The customer service is friendly from some of the workers.....but others weren't as friendly or welcoming. Depends on the time you're here, it could get pretty busy.....but have a little patience and the snacks, food and drinks are worth it. Like I mentioned to my sister, this place is kinda like visiting grandma. You can order what you want and have whatever comfort food you're craving, but you just gotta wait a bit. I'll try again this weekend and see how the crowds are again.

The lady just said cash register, card kiosk, my niece and I looked at each other, it was just really rude. I asked a question about the split cup because my niece wanted to share with her brother the same Drink so I asked if we could get the same drink and she said it's a split cup, so different drinks. Anyways the whole vibe was off. Place was clean. Prices are okay. But not worth it. I got the almond milk tea with fruit jelly and they jelly tasted old. Definitely not coming back.
