My favorite place to get drinks! They have OG drinks but I love that they also make seasonal and trendy ones! For example the banana cloud matcha! So many options i want to try them all. I love coming here because it's not like one of those overpriced places that have no taste

My boyfriend and I were in the area and decided to check this place out. It was good! Parking lot was decent and inside is nice and cozy. The staff is nice and helpful. They have specials on Mondays and we were lucky to have gone on that day. We were afraid the tea would be watered down since it was so big but it was just right! I recommend trying this place if you are in the area!

Having been to my fair share of boba spots in and around OC and LA Counties, I've been exposed to the gamut of varieties of bubble tea. I was pleasantly surprised by this spot because I didn't know what to expect. I definitely think it's great that they give you a free topping for checking in. That said, I had the Strawberry Fields, which was green tea mixed with strawberries. The drink was refreshing and pretty tasty. Although it didn't blow me away, it was pretty solid. The boba was okay. Not quite as good as I wanted, but definitely serviceable. If you want boba in a pinch, you can't go wrong with this spot!

Great location, parking is easy peasy. The staff is what looks like happy high schoolers / college kids that are very friendly and helpful. The menu has something for everyone. We ordered a strawberry banana smoothie & a salted caramel shake. Both are delicious! They also have the option for non dairy substitutes - love!

I was in the area and wanted tea. I found this on Yelp. Be sure to check in because your get one free topping! This place is in an older strip mall. There's some indoor seating. The service was good. They were fast and efficient. I got the mango tea with 25% ice and my free topping was the salted caramel cream. I felt there was more ice than I asked for but it was close. The cream was OK but I couldn't taste the salted caramel. I'm glad I gave it a try!

I love how much of a variety the menus offers. Im usually a taro gal but this time I opted for a yogurt based drink. I had a small strawberry yogurt drink with boba at 50% sweetness. It was very refreshing and I think it would be pretty yummy if it was blended too! The boba was not too shabby but I enjoyed the drink much more. I really liked that they added bits of fresh strawberries in the mix. The service was super quick even though it was the lunchtime hour, which is a plus! I haven't been to this location in over 6 years but the quality is just as I remembered.

My bf comes here a lot. Like once a week, one time he even came all week. I always come with him but never tried the boba cause I tasted it once at another place and never liked it. Well yesterday I tried it here and man have I been missing out. They even have vegan options! And they let us use reusable cups. 10/10 would recommend. The only place in and around Redlands that I would go to for milk tea or Thai tea with boba. I really like that you can get a truly large cup of all their drinks. We have yet to find a drink there we don't like. read more

I came in here to try their sea salt green tea boba since its my favorite. I love 85 degree's and 7 leaves' SSGT. As soon as you walk in, it smells amazingly sweet. Service was quick. I was there less than 5 minutes. The drink itself was so good! I will for sure come here more often!The place was clean and the best part is it's close to my home and work! read more

Great honey Boba & an adequately sized menu to pick from. The teas are my favorite & you can order them with less sugar. Also, they use non-dairy creamer for the Thai Tea which I LOVE. I think its pretty great that we have a tea bar right here in redlands, and a very decent one at that! Me and my girlfriend visited today for the first time and we were quite pleased with our drinks. I got the Thai tea, my gf gift the taro milk non caffeinated. Both drinks were very delicious and we will be back indefinitely! Probably all the time sense its so close to home haha read more

I've enjoyed some of the tea in the past (notably the almond frappe) and tend to enjoy the quality of the boba. That being said, today I came in and dealt with a super rude cashier. When giving him my punch card-noting that I've frequented the place-I accidentally handed him the wrong one and was given a really sour attitude about it... sorry. Anyways, by the time I switched the cards and finished paying, the drink was already ready. Great! Not... the taro tea I had received was so sweet that I couldn't drink it. It has left a sickeningly sweet taste in my mouth after just 3 sips and I refuse to drink the rest. Not too happy with my experience. read more

We ordered a Taro smoothie and a matcha frappe and both with boba for an extra 50¢. The drinks were made in a few short minutes and had great flavor. As far as the boba itself, it is some of the best boba we have had and is sweet and with a great consistency. If you ever need a boba in the Redlands area, there are friendly staff and great drinks. read more

Love love love this place.... did I say LOVE? Ahhh it was so clean and there service was pretty good. But the best part of all was there drinks! We got the peach smoothie with there beyond amazing honey boba ".50$ to add"there jasmine green tea with honey boba and there Tai tea frappe with there honey boba. It was a little pricy but it was so good that it was so worth it to me. They also do stamp cards there so that's a cool insensitive. But for all three of our drinks it was 14$. I would and have been recommending this place to anyone and everyone. Hope they continue amazingness read more

Went here for the first time last Friday with a few friends and we all loved this place. I got the strawberry yogurt drink with lychee and it was amazing! Staff was friendly and even though they were busy they hustled to get drinks made and still be kind to customers. I work at a Starbucks so I know balancing these things isn't always easy. Oh my lanta, this place is the Meccah of all things tea. Service is always friendly and fast! We can always count on getting our fix for tea, and the happy hour is a bonus but for the price, we don't even mind because of how awesome their team is! Probably gonna get some now after writing this Hahahaha! What's so special about this place? We always encounter different people, yet the service is always 100! I would love to see more of these in the IE. Tip: Taro tea caffeinated is our jam--they add honey at the bottom. Our tastebuds can't handle the level of incredible flavors. I need this in an IV in my everyday life please. read more

I'm so happy that there's finally a boba place in Redlands! I love hanging out here, the vibe is great, the employees are friendly, and it smells amazing. I like to get the almond milk tea with boba, grab a seat with an outlet and write for a little while. They also have these adorable plants on the windowsills in little pots that look like bears, and remind me of We Bare Bears. read more

i am very happy leaving this place! the cashier, Ash, was very helpful and friendly. she had no problem being honest when i asked her questions (which i really appreciate instead of just trying to get me to buy something). she even got me samples of their milk tea and thai tea. after my purchase she also offered me a rewards card~ i ended up ordering the vanilla oreo frappe. she offered to make me a different drink if i wasn't satisfied with this one. but this one is delicious! it's perfect for my sweet tooth c: read more

When we left again one of the staff wished me HBD again and even said bye to my husbad by name. This is my donuts spot now. I don't know of any other vegan donuts so I'm grateful for you, Jenny's Donuts.

Our server was quick with our large order and I wouldn't mind trying other iced drinks throughout the Summer either. I ordered a hot rose cardamom latte with oatmilk which was just ok for me, my co-worker ordered an iced strawberry latte with orange cold foam ,but received an iced strawberry matcha instead. Luckily she also likes matcha and it was really good, so she wasn't that disappointed. My other co-workers ordered a hot honey cinnamon cappuccino with oatmilk, an iced golden hour from the spring menu, a cortado and a cinnamon roll. The golden hour was an iced mango lemonade topped with matcha and she loved it. The cortado tasted real authentic according to my other co-worker. The cinnamon roll shared amongst a few of us was to die for! We're definitely coming back.

Well I went to CHACA yesterday, I had a great experience like the first time I went there during February, everybody was friendly, there was no awkwardness, my drink was spot on, and that one dude wasn't there haha. And I really wanted to rewrite my old review and leave a positive review.. Until I saw that my previous review that I didn't even write less then a week was removed, because why?? Because I honestly gave my opinion, so I am deciding to post it again in this review. (May 14th, 2017) "Wow, the last time I came to this place was during their soft opening in February. And I had such a great experience during that time, and when I was gone in a different country for work all I could think and crave about was CHACA! I remember a girl who had long hair Tiffany or Stephanie, I can't remember her name but she gave amazing customer service and went out of her way to do anything to please the customer. Really I hope she stills works here because I didn't see her, and I am worrying this place went downhill. Now let me explain what happened, I went to the store yesterday 5/14, mother's day!! I was in a great mood after seeing my mother after being gone for so long, and I thought I would treat myself to a drink since I have been gone for so long and it is only a 3 minute walk from my place to there. As soon as I walked in I was quietly greeted only by one their employees, Brenda but I could just feel the awkwardness as I step through. This other employee Richard wasn't even smiling he just avoided eye contact with me. I saw that there was a new special going on and I am sucker for specials, as soon as I ask the cashier Brenda about it all she did was point and tell me to read it myself, haha I guess she didn't know about the special either. She didn't look inform about it lol But she nicely took my order, I got a Sea Salt Caramel Milk Tea with boba, my favorite from the first time I went here. Richard made my drink, the entire time while making it he seemed annoyed and not happy, and when I got it he just quietly called my number and didn't even acknowledge me when I said thank you to him. Seriously they need to talk to him or fire him, he brought down the entire mood of the shop that day. I was thinking of staying to sit and wait for some friends that were going to come later, but I didn't want to stay a second longer with all the awkward air coming from this employee, ruining the mood for me the customer and everyone else working there. And when I left the cashier girl said goodbye, but still the male employee didn't say anything and just went to the back of the shop. I felt bad for the girl that had to work with him all night, I would have quit if I had to stay with him the entire night. Yikes, Also I'll be back later to get another drink. But if I see this Richard employee again I won't come in, they will have to lose one customer until they get rid of him or put him on less shifts so I don't have to see him. This was seriously my worst experience in a store ever. Get back the old good employees, I miss the ginger girl (Tiffany/Stephanie I am so sorry I cant remember your name) and the other dude who used to work here!!" This was the review I wrote, I wasn't lying and I was really hoping this was helpful for everybody. Now let's see how long this will stay up so I can spread awareness about this store. read more

Chaca Tea Bar is seriously one of my favorite places to grab boba tea! Their drinks are always delicious and consistent. I usually get the Sea Salt Caramel Milk Tea, it's slightly caffeinated, which gives me the perfect little pick-me-up around 4 PM (just not too late, or I'll be up all night!). I love how the drink is cold but the brown sugar boba is warm, it's such a comforting combo and tastes amazing every time. My husband loves the Mango Boba Tea, and my son is all about the Oreo Shake, he never gets anything else! Plus, if you do a Yelp check-in, you get a free topping, which is a nice bonus. It's also a great local hangout spot for young adults, and I love that they offer fundraiser opportunities. During a three-hour window (usually between their peak hours from 2-7 PM), anyone who mentions your organization, Chaca will give back 13% of their order, such a fun and easy way to raise funds while enjoying good drinks and good vibes. The ambience is great, with music always playing and free Wi-Fi available. It's not a huge space, but if you snag a table, it's a cozy spot to relax or get some work done. The staff is always super fast and friendly, and the service time constantly impresses me. Their prices are also reasonably competitive especially for the quality they produce. I went in on Tuesday 26, and I was filled with disgust with one employee that worked there. Her name was Kenz or Ken, I don't know man but her face is in the avatar for this shop's yelp page, so yall beware. She was rude to me and my girlfriend, not even smiling once when she took our order and not saying anything when we left, she was talking to a girl in the back when we left. Me and my girlfriend couldn't see her but assumed that was their cook or something..? Just unbelievable, worst date stop, worst customer service, and worst employee ever! And my girlfriend got a Strawberry Slush, it was horrible as well. This Ken person made it like a juice, it was water down and it didn't even look like a "blended" drink, what that girl called it when she suggested it when my girl asked about it. I am never coming back, and my girlfriend, family, and friends also agree to never come back. They are missing out on now over a 100 customers thanks to this girl, and her awful way of making a "slush." Does she even know how to make the drinks at this store? read more

Okay I went again yesterday (June 3rd) like I said in my previous review I would do. And I did stand incorrect about the employees! I went with my family yesterday morning and was greeted with two new friendly faces, Tian and Tiffany. They were nice and outstanding. Tiffany helped pick out the perfect drinks for me and my family. And Tian fastly and smoothly made all of our drinks. (And he kindly placed it down and told us our drinks were ready with a smile, unlike another worker here) When we were ready to go both them gave their attention to us and nicely said goodbye and to have a nice day. Seriously how can people be so nice and friendly, it makes you want to be their friends in life. ALSO CAN I JUST SAY THESE DRINKS ARE ADDICTING!! I love this place! They have the best boba in town- honey! There is always fun music playing and cute decorations that change with the holidays. Wi-Fi is available with a clearly posted password. Everyone who works there is always friendly and willing to answer questions and give suggestions. I've enjoyed everything I've tried which includes iced honeydew milk tea, iced Thai tea with salted caramel cream, and hot rose milk tea among other things. Their service is always very timely even when they are busy which I appreciate. Lastly, I am immunocompromised and greatly appreciate being able to go somewhere that has observed covid precautions throughout the pandemic and puts the safety of customers, employees, and our community above all else. Chaca is one of my favorite places to get boba! I come here pretty regularly with my family and my favorite is probably rose green milk tea but i really like brown sugar milk tea too. I have never had a bad experience here either, the staff is so friendly and they make your order SO fast. I also appreciate the safety precautions that they take here to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. I personally lost a family member to covid, he contracted it because he was exposed to someone who didn't believe in wearing masks. So i really appreciate that this business takes that so seriously and continues to enforce masks, social distancing, and keeps the store so well sanitized. read more

After reading about this place on FB, I had to check them out. I'm sure glad I did. It's nice to see a business take the health and safety of their staff and customers seriously. Masks are required and they have extra available if you need one. No one that I could see was passing out or suffering brain damage from the imaginary lack of oxygen. It's too bad that some adults have to act like children when they don't get their way. I'm just sorry that I missed Jessilyn and Ako's temper tantrums. This is the best place for tea with boba. The owners and the staff are very nice and the service is fast. Green tea is very good for your digestive system.
