Well I went to CHACA yesterday, I had a great experience like the first time I went there during February, everybody was friendly, there was no awkwardness, my drink was spot on, and that one dude wasn't there haha. And I really wanted to rewrite my old review and leave a positive review.. Until I saw that my previous review that I didn't even write less then a week was removed, because why?? Because I honestly gave my opinion, so I am deciding to post it again in this review. (May 14th, 2017) "Wow, the last time I came to this place was during their soft opening in February. And I had such a great experience during that time, and when I was gone in a different country for work all I could think and crave about was CHACA! I remember a girl who had long hair Tiffany or Stephanie, I can't remember her name but she gave amazing customer service and went out of her way to do anything to please the customer. Really I hope she stills works here because I didn't see her, and I am worrying this place went downhill. Now let me explain what happened, I went to the store yesterday 5/14, mother's day!! I was in a great mood after seeing my mother after being gone for so long, and I thought I would treat myself to a drink since I have been gone for so long and it is only a 3 minute walk from my place to there. As soon as I walked in I was quietly greeted only by one their employees, Brenda but I could just feel the awkwardness as I step through. This other employee Richard wasn't even smiling he just avoided eye contact with me. I saw that there was a new special going on and I am sucker for specials, as soon as I ask the cashier Brenda about it all she did was point and tell me to read it myself, haha I guess she didn't know about the special either. She didn't look inform about it lol But she nicely took my order, I got a Sea Salt Caramel Milk Tea with boba, my favorite from the first time I went here. Richard made my drink, the entire time while making it he seemed annoyed and not happy, and when I got it he just quietly called my number and didn't even acknowledge me when I said thank you to him. Seriously they need to talk to him or fire him, he brought down the entire mood of the shop that day. I was thinking of staying to sit and wait for some friends that were going to come later, but I didn't want to stay a second longer with all the awkward air coming from this employee, ruining the mood for me the customer and everyone else working there. And when I left the cashier girl said goodbye, but still the male employee didn't say anything and just went to the back of the shop. I felt bad for the girl that had to work with him all night, I would have quit if I had to stay with him the entire night. Yikes, Also I'll be back later to get another drink. But if I see this Richard employee again I won't come in, they will have to lose one customer until they get rid of him or put him on less shifts so I don't have to see him. This was seriously my worst experience in a store ever. Get back the old good employees, I miss the ginger girl (Tiffany/Stephanie I am so sorry I cant remember your name) and the other dude who used to work here!!" Chaca Tea Bar is seriously one of my favorite places to grab boba tea! Their drinks are always delicious and consistent. I usually get the Sea Salt Caramel Milk Tea, it's slightly caffeinated, which gives me the perfect little pick-me-up around 4 PM (just not too late, or I'll be up all night!). I love how the drink is cold but the brown sugar boba is warm, it's such a comforting combo and tastes amazing every time. My husband loves the Mango Boba Tea, and my son is all about the Oreo Shake, he never gets anything else! Plus, if you do a Yelp check-in, you get a free topping, which is a nice bonus. It's also a great local hangout spot for young adults, and I love that they offer fundraiser opportunities. During a three-hour window (usually between their peak hours from 2-7 PM), anyone who mentions your organization, Chaca will give back 13% of their order, such a fun and easy way to raise funds while enjoying good drinks and good vibes. The ambience is great, with music always playing and free Wi-Fi available. It's not a huge space, but if you snag a table, it's a cozy spot to relax or get some work done. The staff is always super fast and friendly, and the service time constantly impresses me. Their prices are also reasonably competitive especially for the quality they produce. Overall, Chaca Tea Bar is the perfect mix of tasty drinks, good energy, and community spirit. Highly recommend! Pro tip: Don't forget to grab their Buy 10, Get 1 Free stamp card! I went in on Tuesday 26, and I was filled with disgust with one employee that worked there. Her name was Kenz or Ken, I don't know man but her face is in the avatar for this shop's yelp page, so yall beware. She was rude to me and my girlfriend, not even smiling once when she took our order and not saying anything when we left, she was talking to a girl in the back when we left. Me and my girlfriend couldn't see her but assumed that was their cook or something..? Just unbelievable, worst date stop, worst customer service, and worst employee ever! And my girlfriend got a Strawberry Slush, it was horrible as well. This Ken person made it like a juice, it was water down and it didn't even look like a "blended" drink, what that girl called it when she suggested it when my girl asked about it. I am never coming back, and my girlfriend, family, and friends also agree to never come back. They are missing out on now over a 100 customers thanks to this girl, and her awful way of making a "slush." Does she even know how to make the drinks at this store? read more

Okay I went again yesterday (June 3rd) like I said in my previous review I would do. And I did stand incorrect about the employees! I went with my family yesterday morning and was greeted with two new friendly faces, Tian and Tiffany. They were nice and outstanding. Tiffany helped pick out the perfect drinks for me and my family. And Tian fastly and smoothly made all of our drinks. (And he kindly placed it down and told us our drinks were ready with a smile, unlike another worker here) When we were ready to go both them gave their attention to us and nicely said goodbye and to have a nice day. Seriously how can people be so nice and friendly, it makes you want to be their friends in life. ALSO CAN I JUST SAY THESE DRINKS ARE ADDICTING!! I love this place! They have the best boba in town- honey! There is always fun music playing and cute decorations that change with the holidays. Wi-Fi is available with a clearly posted password. Everyone who works there is always friendly and willing to answer questions and give suggestions. I've enjoyed everything I've tried which includes iced honeydew milk tea, iced Thai tea with salted caramel cream, and hot rose milk tea among other things. Their service is always very timely even when they are busy which I appreciate. Lastly, I am immunocompromised and greatly appreciate being able to go somewhere that has observed covid precautions throughout the pandemic and puts the safety of customers, employees, and our community above all else. Chaca is one of my favorite places to get boba! I come here pretty regularly with my family and my favorite is probably rose green milk tea but i really like brown sugar milk tea too. I have never had a bad experience here either, the staff is so friendly and they make your order SO fast. I also appreciate the safety precautions that they take here to keep everyone safe during the pandemic. I personally lost a family member to covid, he contracted it because he was exposed to someone who didn't believe in wearing masks. So i really appreciate that this business takes that so seriously and continues to enforce masks, social distancing, and keeps the store so well sanitized. read more

After reading about this place on FB,  I had to check them out. I'm sure glad I did.  It's nice to see a business take the health and safety of their staff and customers seriously.   Masks are required and they have extra available if you need one.   No one that I could see was passing out or suffering brain damage from the imaginary lack of oxygen.  It's too bad that some adults have to act like children when they don't get their way.  I'm just sorry that I missed Jessilyn and Ako's temper tantrums.   I've always wanted the chance to laugh and clap at stupid people. This is the best place for tea with boba. The owners and the staff are very nice and the service is fast. Green tea is very good for your digestive system. We visit Chava Tea Bar 4 to 5 times a week and we drive half an hour. The place is clean and there is no problem with parking. We tried other places but this is the best, enjoy!!! read more

This place is my top choice for bubble tea in Redlands! The service is consistently great, and the staff are super fast at making drinks.
