I had high hopes for ChaChaCha given all the amazing reviews, but unfortunately, I really did not like my matcha. I ordered a strawberry matcha with oat milk, but the drink was almost inedible. The matcha itself was okay before I mixed it, so I think the issue was the strawberry syrup. It tasted extremely medicinal and had a terrible aftertaste that I couldn't get out of my mouth. I won't be back, but I hope this was just an off day. 3 stars for the nice employees.
A gem of a matcha/boba shop in Fremont! Came to try their drinks through the recommendation of tik tok, and was pleasantly surprised. Pistachio matcha (4.5/5) - the pistachio flavor mixes SO well with matcha and has become of of my all time favorite combos. This place goes it really well and the foam adds an extra level fo creaminess. Banana matcha (3.5/5) - the banana was okay, it didn't taste artificial, but they flavors didn't mesh as seamlessly as they do in other places with banana matcha. It is sweet and yummy tho if you're craving it! The Biscoff is a nice touch. There is nowhere to chill, as the place is pretty small. And it was HOT the day we went, so it was more comfortable to chill and wait for our drinks outside. They were ready in about 10 min. There's also a photobooth that prints photos which you can play with while you wait. I'd definitely come back for the pistachio matcha and to try more of their drinks!
I probably ordered the wrong drink :D I usually prefer my coffee VERY strong, and I had that expectation for my Sesame Einspanner ($7.50). It was more sesame forward and mild on the coffee flavor, probably heavier on the milk. I was hoping mixing it while I drank might disperse the contents and change the taste, but it did not lol. I will update my review when I come back for another drink; my sister's matcha cream matcha latte was delish, so I know they for sure make good drinks. I probably should've ordered tea and not coffee at a shop called ChaChaCha? Cha is Chinese for tea! I love their photobooth in the corner that prints out black and white receipt paper photos for you to take home. My sister told me their walls used to be covered in customer photos, but they were bare when I visited :(
The sweet barista was patient, welcoming, and kind. She guided us through the drinks and its options and crafted them so perfectly, so delicious and creamy. We enjoyed the banana matcha, coffee puff, and red bean smoothie. We look forward to coming back! They have a cute photo-booth area too!
Came back to my fav boba spot in high school! It's cool to see how it's changed to ChaChaCha and famous for their free mini photobooth machine haha. ChaChaCha offers unique drinks with their iconic puff cream topping on any of their milk teas, hojicha, matcha, einspanners (original - with vanilla or hazelnut flavor), and even croffles! Love the diverse menu. I usually get my puff cream milk tea with boba from here and it never disappoints. Creamy and the tea flavor still pulls through. Their boba is also pretty solid without it being overly sweet and relatively soft / chewy. However, I got their double matcha and original vanilla einspanner. Their double matcha had a mild umami flavor and wasn't very sweet. Def more for people who are into matcha for the profile than the sweetness. Loved that matcha foam though. Their einspanner was fireeee. Slightly strong coffee flavor and I enjoyed how the milk foam topping didn't overpower the drink. Would order this again!
Must-Order the corn einspänner !! so good. Sweet corn flavor, creamy top, and that perfect balance that makes you wanna sip slow or fast and have another one :)) Super unique, super yummy, definitely a 5‑star treat.

LOVE! Came here for the banana matcha latte, OFC. And it did not disappoint. Such a fresh creamy banana topper over the bitter matcha. I asked for mine not bruleed and had oat milk. Perfection! My partner loved the berry matcha! Service was fast and chill! Inside and outside seating.
Was craving their corn Einspanner and came here just for it. So disappointed that they changed this drink to seasonal item only and I had to choose a different kind this time. Since they only have 3 options & the only one I haven't tried was their Sesame Einspanner, I decided to give it a try. Well same consistent texture (creaminess) in the drink here and a decent balance of caffeine to sesame. Could taste a hint of roasted black sesame. I ordered the less sweet version and it was really "less" sweet. For someone who doesn't take lots of too sweet food, I found it to be a little bland, so will go with their regular sweetness level next time. Anyway the best is still the corn Einspanner and I hope they will bring it back as a standard item on menu soon! I know multiple other patrons voiced the same desire too.
Their milk tea absolutely sucks here. It tastes like 90% milk and only 10% tea. Also my sugar was not mixed in properly and you can still see the sugar crystals at the bottom. I wanted to toss my drink so bad and felt like I really wasted money on it.
I honestly really like the matcha from here, it reminds me of Japan matcha! You order from a self ordering kiosk.
Nearby tea spot after walking almost 2 hours at Quarry Lake!! Very cute shop and it seems to be popular, since after my friend and I ordered there were a lot of people that came. They have AC, some seating at the store and a restroom for customers. For ordering they have a kiosk, or you could order up at the front. I love how they have a free picture photobooth! It comes out super fast, on receipt-like paper. My friend and I took a bunch!! I got their wintermelon lemonade at 50% and it was a bit too sweet. Next time I'll get 0%. I decided to let the ice melt in my drink. My friend got their peachmango green tea, also at 50% and it was sweet. They were so kind to make adjustments for her!
Review #996 Posted on 2.6.26 We came here for matcha on Saturday the 31st to try it out. This spot is located right in a tiny strip mall in Fremont, right on Thornton Ave in between Paseo Padre & Fremont Blvd, right across the street from Suju's coffee. We ended up getting the taro smoothie with boba. We also got this unique item called croffle, it's basically a waffle with a sweet mix to it. My wife got the Dubai one, my daughter the Oreo one. We also got the p pang, the bacon n cheese. It was good, a different spin on a baked savory item. This spot was busy, I was kind of shocked they only had 2 people working on a Saturday lunch timeframe. I had the bakery/heated up food items take a bit to get out. To me you get a 3rd body in there and you pump out food & drinks way faster and get way more people in/out for a more profitable day, and more return business. Either way we'll for sure come back to get more food and drinks at this locally owned spot.

The teas are delicious! I used to like a crunchy strawberry milk tea but they unfortunately stopped making it so I got their taro strawberry milk tea it was wonderful! If you have a sweet tooth this drink is perfect for you! I would definitely try it again! The corn coffee drink my gf got and she loves it! It has real corn in it too! The service is pretty quick since it's self serving unless it's busy you can order in the front! The style at chachacha is always super cute since they have a Photo Booth to take nice pics for insta or even to just make memories! read more

Cutie little aesthetic cafe that definitely got the memo in terms of interior design. The menu posters, the colors, the branding, the free photobooth! The 10 cent bread was amazing. I got just the mozzarella and it was still flavorful- would love to try other fillings as well. Just fyi, this takes longer to make. I went an hour into opening so it was a short wait while she made it, but I can see it being delayed/ why they sell out later in the day! Corn einspanner- i mean, i had to try it because of the rave. But i don't drink coffee and i don't love corn LOL. Given that, i still thought it was a nice drink. I'd try something else next time, though. read more

I ordered a Toffee Caramel Milk Tea, while my friend ordered a Thai Puff Smoothie. Both drinks were delicious, with a perfect balance of sweetness and milkiness. Each drink was $6.50 and $7.00, which I thought was a great price considering the quality and size. The store also offers a free mini photobooth, which is really fun to use with friends. The bobaristas are very polite, and the shop plays great music--whoever is on aux deserves a raise! read more

This is a cute little spot in central Fremont. We stopped by here because I mentioned that I haven't had the 10 cent bread, and my boyfriend said "Really? Let's make a U-turn so you could try it!" So we did that lol. We ordered the hojicha banana einspanner and the banana matcha. Both are not overly sweet, which I prefer, and the flavors are on point. The banana and the matcha flavors compliment one another well. Service was pretty quick too. We got 10 cent coin with mozzarella only, and it was hot and crispy on the outside, sweet and chewy on the inside, kind of like a mochi waffle. It was super good! Oh another cute thing about this place is that they have a little photo booth box where you and your loved ones can use while you wait, free of charge. Recently dropped by to collect a reward through their rewards system. This place used to be called "99% Tea House" and yes even the signage outside still says that but it is indeed ChaChaCha. In short, the drinks were pretty solid, but it's just in an awkward location that's not really easy to get to unless you live in the area. L O C A T I O N ChaChaCha is located in a small plaza a little ways off of Fremont Blvd. on Thornton Ave. with shared private parking for the places there. I found a spot fairly quickly. The shop still says 99% Tea House so look for that instead of ChaChaCha. I N S I D E It's a very small shop. Just a small area to sit. They have an ordering kiosk near the front and they have a photo area that prints out black & white images. M E N U They have a variety of drinks. A bit all over the place with a few drinks under each category, but they do have just standard milk teas which is what I got. Roasted Oolong Milk Tea with Grass Jelly - To be honest, I didn't really feel like it was an oolong. I didn't taste it, but for a milk tea it was good and the grass jelly was also good. My hubby said his Tiger Black Milk tea with boba was good. The boba according to him was the medium sized boba which he didn't mind. S E R V I C E It didn't take too long to get the drinks. There was pretty much minimal interaction with the staff there except for getting the drinks. I easily paid by touchless payment at the kiosk. O V E R A L L If I were in the area and needed a milk tea fix, I wouldn't hesitate to come back. They have a good variety of drinks that may be a good or bad thing. To me it makes me curious. They are located off of Thornton Ave but a ways down from the 880 exit. They're relatively close to the Billy Roy's burger so grab a boba afterwards. Super cute cafe! It's not exactly an Internet cafe, so I wouldn't say its suitable for working. But they have have one of those little photo boxes that print your picture on paper, Chuck E. Cheese style (IYKYK), which was so fun. We got the Thai Puff Smoothie and the Corn Matcha Einspanner. Both super delicious, my only wish is that they strained the corn out of the cream, as I was finding pieces of corn, but not in a pleasant way. Other than that, it was yummy. read more

Came here for the matcha. This is a Korean cafe. They have the coin dessert filled with cheese. At the door they have a small Photo Booth that prints instant pictures. Super cute. Got the pistachio matcha and I was so surprised how good the pistachio cream was. Normally the flavor is subtle and gets lost with the matcha. I also like that they crush real pistachio nuts on top. This past weekend they sold the viral Dubai chewy "cookie". There was. A few left. Got to try it. It looks like a mochi. The outside is marshmallow which makes it chewy. The inside was kataifi. I went to ChaChaCha around 1 pm on a Tuesday. I got the pistachio Matcha and it was absolutely incredible. It's one of the best pistachio cream tops I've ever had from a storefront. I remember trying this place maybe earlier this year and I don't know if it's the drink I got. I think it was a Dubai chocolate latte but I thought it was just okay so I think they've improved since then because wow I drove from Santa Clara and it's definitely wort the drive. the matcha was perfect and the cream top was perfect. It even had crushed pieces of pistachio on top. I didn't want my drink to end. I was sad when it ended. I was able to find parking right upfront but I could see parking being kind of difficult during rush-hour. Can't wait to come back! read more

I have been waiting for a corn latte in the bay and ran to 99TeaHouse when I found out they have a corn einspanner!! Im not going to lie, it pales in comparison to the previous ones I've had. I do love the presentation and it is not overly sweet, but the corn flavor is not very strong. This spot is still super cute and I love how they have croffles and cheese coins in addition to their large drink menu. Another overhyped IG spot. So much went wrong I don't even know where to begin. Came in on a Sunday and it wasn't busy at all. The cashier rang up the first 2 people and then went to make drinks. She made eye contact with me but didn't direct us to order at the iPad (located to the right in the corner where it's hard to see) or acknowledge that she'll be right with us. It was kind of awkward. We ordered the cloud 9 drink, the one everyone on IG gets, brown sugar einspanner, black sesame einspanner, a passion fruit tea, and the waffle. The cloud 9 is a hot chocolate and torched with marshmallow fluff on top. In theory this would be delicious but the marshmallow was thick and overwhelming. The worst part was that as the line got longer it was clear the staff couldn't handle the orders. My drink came out and no one called it out. I wasn't going to be the one to interrupt and ask if it was my drink, I figured out other drinks will come and I'll practice my patience. But being that I was the only one that got a hot drink, after 20 minutes my drink got cold. The worst part was that with the torched marshmallow doesn't allow you to put a lid on your cups and as it sat out, customers repeatedly touched my open drink (one little girl even breathed on it). Soon there were quite a few drinks ready but no one was calling them out. People kept getting up to touch the drinks/food trying to figure out if it was theirs and the store got more crowded. No one was labeling the drinks so the sticker machine printing out labels got stuck as more orders were being placed. It was chaos. Lastly, they ended up forgetting my friends drink, the waffle was cold and no one liked their drinks. We were over it and didn't want to wait for it to be remade. They definitely need better training on customer service and bar flow. read more

This place is called ChaChaCha but the front of the store says 99% TEA HOUSE. Was confused if we were in the right plaza for a bit. Inside is cute and they have a Photo Booth machine that prints out the pictures right away in black and white. We mainly came for that so it's a good attraction to bring customers in! You can also paste your photos inside the store in the wall. I got the kumquat fruit tea that comes with aloe Vera and basil seeds. I got that less sweet and it was still pretty sweet to me. It also kind of tasted watered down a bit. It was refreshing but I'm not hate if I would get it again. Wasn't feeling the drink too much. They also have corn einspanner which is different from other drink places. They have a small seating area. The menu overall has a good variety of different types of drinks. I would come here again to try a different drink! read more
Drawn in by the aesthetics but let down by the quality of the drinks :( considering myself a victim to the decor and IG hype Sadly, Cha cha cha's drinks disappointed me. Recommended at 50% sweetness and 70% ice according to the menu, I got the oolong milk tea with those measurements and my friend got the dragon fruit tea. Both my milk tea and her fruit tea tasted diluted with little tea flavor. I also believe 50% sweetness and 70% ice were not good recommendations for those drinks as they made the drink even more diluted. The blue and white stripes & decor of this place made for a cute theme. The photo booth immediately prints a cute paper picture. When entering, you are immediately greeted by the counter area in front with small crate stool chairs on the side. I've been to ChaChaCha before and I thought it was okay because I went in for the cheese 10 won ppang and they were sold out. I gave it another chance since I saw that they had matcha. A couple of friends and I got the matcha and the cheese with corn 10 won ppang. The 10 won ppang did not disappoint, I wish I bought another one lol. Their matcha was also really good, I got the matcha ein spanner. I like the little photo booth they had near the entrance, I thought that was cute. The overall vibe of this place was cute. Seasonal drink "On Cloud Nine" which is an EARL GREY HOT COCOA WITH MARSHMALLOW FLUF!!! All caps because I was so excited about this drink and it did not disappoint. Honestly the best drink I've ever had in my life. I got it with oat milk, and it was perfect. I also got an Oreo croffle but I dropped it on the floor of my garage as soon as I got home :( need to return again next time. Definitely younger crowd vibe, but the workers are friendly. Found this place on Instagram and thought we'd try it out after work. The first time we went, we got the Pistachio Matcha Latte and Banana Matcha Latte. The Banana latte was great but the Pistachio one lacked the pistachio flavor and just tasted like matcha. Overall, great drinks, 8/10. The second time we went, we wanted the croffles, however, it was unavailable, even though we went right when it opened. Wish we could have tried them :(. The service was okay, they didn't speak to their customers besides calling out the order. The decorations were cool but I'd probably pick a different spot if craving a drink or a waffle. read more

I ordered the strawberry smoothie and would give it a solid 3/5. The texture and flavor leaned heavily into a yogurt vibe--both in taste and mouth feel--which isn't really what I look for in a smoothie. It wasn't bad, just not what I expected. That said, the boba I added definitely helped save the experience. Chewy, sweet, and added a nice contrast to the tangy smoothie base. Overall, it was alright, but I'd probably try something else next time. read more

Cha cha cha your way over to this Korean dessert spot! .:: Sweets::. Dubai Chocolate Croffle: super unique! LOVED the pistachio filling almost a crispy wafer feelz. Exterior was warm and chocolate-y and crunchy Corn Croffle: tastes exactly like the pop cereal! Delightful sweet treat Corn Einspanner: one of their most popular drinks. If u like corn! nutty butter Einspanner: not a coffee drinker but I loved the topper for this! A little earthy a lot of nutty ! Strawberry Crunch: love the crunchy aspect they add in but u gotta drink this fast before it gets soggy. 10 won ppang : I add in cheese and bacon super cheesey and makes for the best cheese pull. Great little snack. I also tried the Nutella one which was so yummy. Kumquat Lemon Green Tea with Basil Seed: if u like tart drinks, this is the one !! Super tangy and refreshing Peach mango green tea: refreshing for my fruity drink lovers Taro Strawberry: puree strawberry and taro ! Tastes kinda like captain crunch per my friend .:: Ambiance / Parking / Service :: The place is super cute. they newly got a Photo Booth machine and my friends and I had fun taking some black and white pics on it. Came to check out the viral 10 won cake and realized they had Dubai chocolate croffle too. The 10 won cake is pretty good. It's like a mochi waffle with choice of fillings. The Dubai chocolate waffle is what makes me want to come back. Generous amount of pistachio butter + kataifi fillings. The chocolate is the cheap chocolate though which is too sweet for my taste. The croffle itself is the same dough as the 10 won cake i think. It's crunchy and chewy but one bad thing is it has a little salty taste to it.
