I figured I would give the Sunday Brunch a second chance, and I would NEVER go back again. It is a all you can eat buffet style with customized omelets, fresh fruit, salad, potato salad, pastries, deserts, eggs, meat, french toast, pancakes and waffles. The food had absolutely no flavor, I had to add pepper and salt as needed just to make it taste better, even the cheesecake had no flavor! On a side note: the cream cheese for the bagels were in a bowl (without ice) right next to the hot toaster, probably not good for bacteria growth. The brunch lasts from 10-2, I came at 12:30 and it was not very busy. Save yourself $15 and get a good breakfast somewhere else. read more

Terrible customer service specifically with the manager. She acts like she is doing you a favor. Never in the least is friendly or smiles. Made a reservation to seat outside (after specifically asking if we could have outside). When we got there, they advised they were not seating outside (even though it was full). That would be fine but they should have called us and let us know before we drove all the way there. Its not the first time. The manager has no consideration for their customers. Unacceptable. Friday night at 6:30 and there is a 30-40 minute wait for a table when the restaurant and bar are at half capacity. Clearly overextended and under staffed with two private parties. Stopped in from a day of rushing and wanted a good sit-down dinner. Had short ribs, real mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. Outstanding meal, menu does not change much, BUT thats a good thing since you can come back for what you love. Wife had crab cakes, and they were also delish! I'm actually sitting at Chadwicks writing this review because of how freaking SLOOOW the service is. 15 mins and counting to get my check. There's a whole 3 other tables occupied in here, I don't really get what the wait staff is up to. Anyway, I give this place props for the delicious phyllo cheesesteak (try it out) with provolone cheese. On the other hand, they get low ratings as far as service and attentiveness goes. It took forever to get my meal, the waiter didn't come and check on us and is taking way too long with the check (yes, still waiting). I can't deal right now. Went for Sunday brunch after a person at the gun show in the neighboring Town recommended it. So glad we went. The food was absolutely delicious. Enjoyed a lovely night out here with friends last weekend. We ate outside on the patio and everything was super clean. The bus boy was sanitizing chair seats as well as table tops between customers. I saw appetizers being served on skewers and our check was delivered in a clear plastic cup rather than the usual holder. The restaurant mgmt has thought of seemingly small details to keep things clean and give a feeling of confidence to the guests. The salmon was great and my husband's chicken was delicious. Our friends enjoyed their meals as well and we topped off with chocolate torte. I love this place and have missed it after a year of not eating out. Can't wait to come back. read more

This was a good choice for an American restaurant and the prices were decent. I tried the espresso steak 12 oz and the sauce was very sweet -- too sweet for me. There was also a lot of fat in the steak. The dessert chocolate cake was very dense with bad frosting. Overall decent. read more

Just went here for the first time for Sunday brunch and it was great! Large spread with a great variety of delicious all you can eat food for $15. Can't beat the value! And all the food was delicious! They have a nice assortment of breakfast and lunch entree options plus an omlette and ham station and large table of desserts! I really liked the vibe too. It's very nice inside atmosphere with a country club yet casual taverny character. Plus there's large open windows that give a nice view of the golf course. Service was great too. We've been twice for all you can eat crab legs, which is well worth the $25! Things I couldn't get my head around: 1) The side salad came with 1 1/2 cherry tomatoes; I don't understand why they couldn't have thrown in a few more tomatoes and some onion or something! 2) We ordered dessert as the same time as the couple we were with, yet mine arrived 15minutes earlier, we were long done by the time they were ready to dig in 3) I got the molten chocolate/lava cake. I discovered Chadwick's on restaurant.com and one glance at their kids' menu determined that we HAD to check it out. My husband and I went last week to try it out, figuring that if we liked it, it could become a regular place to take the kids, with food they would actually eat, and at reasonable prices! Pulling up we were impressed with the building, the golf course location, and the decor. The restaurant was almost empty, with one small table, and one larger family gathering of about 10-12 as the only other customers at the time. We decided we would try the sampler, but with seasoned fries rather than portabello fries. Note that the portabello fries on their own are $7 and the seasoned fries are $4. Our waitress told her that there was no way they could replace them, and that she could ask, but it would be pointless. Ok, either you know for sure that it's not a possibility, or you don't know and you ask, without making it seem like it's wasting your time. So we decided to try the "asian" chicken wraps. There were no drinks on the menu, but considering we walked past a bar on the way in, "Do you serve alcohol?" seemed like a legitimate question. She seemed shocked that we were asking, and then said that they didn't have a drink list, so what kind of drinks did we want? We asked what wines they had, and she came back from the bar with the names written down. We ordered the Riesling and Pinot Grigio and when she brought them back, she said she had no idea which was which. My husband got the Cowboy cut Prime Rib, described as being lightly seasoned with steak sauce, and served on top of fizzled onions. We knew there might be trouble when she asked how well he wanted his prime rib done... I went with the top sirloin steak, medium well. Neither one of us noticed that she didn't give us the choice between baked potato, fries, or mashed, as was listed on the menu. One of the other waiters brought our appetizer. On first glance, I was super excited. They had the typical choices...chicken, shredded carrots and cucumber... and they had what they called lo mein noodles, wonton strips, and three sauces. Then we dug in. The lettuce was small spring mix type lettuce, not typical iceberg, and it wasn't crisp enough to be able to hold anything inside of it. The lo mein noodles were spaghetti with no flavor, the wonton strips were stale, and the three sauces were an italian type vinagrette, a duck sauce, and something of barbecue consistency that tasted like a black jellybean. Our entrees arrived and Jason's prime rib had grill marks on it. Contrary to what we both thought "fizzled onions" would be (sauteed onion slices), they are actually the crispy onions from a can that you put in green bean casserole, and the whole thing was drenched in a less-spicy A-1 knockoff steak sauce. My steak looked alright, but tasted like liver. We both got baked potatoes. I got butter and sour cream. Jason got neither. At least our steamed vegetables were good (and like an old folks' home dining room, they are all you smell as soon as you walk in the door.) Halfway through we ordered another glass of wine each. She brought it to is explaining that she found out how to tell the difference... that Pinot is almost clear, and Riesling is darker.... Ummmmm not most ones that I've tried but ok. The confusing part being that neither one of the glasses tasted quite the same as our first. We chalked it up to being a little wine buzzed and having traumatized taste buds, but when we got the bill, we realized that they had given us four completely different (and differently priced) glasses of wine. But hey, at least we had shirtless rednecks rebuilding engines on the Speed channel to watch on the big screen TVs on the walls... read more

Last night my family & I had a wonderful dinner at Chadwick's to celebrate our granddaughter's birthday. Our waitress Jen was so friendly & attentive and the atmosphere was relaxing & warm. I love that there are so many restaurants outside of NYC on Yelp now :) Last May my mom hosted a party for my dad's birthday (which I helped plan) at Chadwick's, and I have to say I could not have been more impressed. As Martha mentions, Lori is a fantastic event planner, accommodating and easy to work with. I had never dined at Chadwick's, nor had I seen the banquet hall, so I was very nervous that things would not meet my expectations... I was so wrong. I arrived to a beautifully decorated sparkling new banquet hall, polished wood floors, high ceilings, lots of windows with fresh drapes, white table cloths and new dishware. I headed straight to the bar area, which was not because I wanted to forget my surroundings, it was because I'd just purchased balloons at a dollar store and would now need to greet people I hadn't seen in years. We did a simple buffet (I'm terrified of buffets, but I didn't make this choice, however) it was elegantly set up, the serving dishes and utensils were very nice (not worn or tacky) and the food (ziti with marinara, salad, bread) was excellent. I can't comment on the chicken-parm b/c I'm not a meat-eater, but it looked really good and people loved it. The desserts were great too and they let us bring in a cake from somewhere else. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the space, as I mentioned, was really incredible. The banquet room is gigantic, well-lit, and elegantly decorated. Plenty of room for 60+ people, some area to dance, space for gift tables, food tables and the private bar area... If you live in the area I would recommend Chadwick's for your next private party. No it's not as big as say, Chateau Granieri, but that place is just tacky and is a parking nightmare. Chadwick's has tons of parking. I'm only giving 4-stars because I haven't dined here in the restaurant, but I'm sure someday I will and will revisit this review at that point ;) read more

I recommend the bar and golf course. I know both of those are awesome. And everything you order to eat at the bar is going to be fantastic. Their food, made to order is awesome, no doubt about it. Never did brunch or even ate at the buffets, I've seen their buffets but never ate the food. it's not that type of place to me, I'd be more interested in drinking/eating at the bar. I've also enjoyed their their meals during wedding receptions on several occasions. If you're getting married, give it a look. If you're looking for a bargain buffet, try chinese! read more

Altogether the food was pretty good, but the service I experienced was just poor. Tried going there a few times and really if you can deal with being treated as a second class citizen to get to the decent pub style food then you should check it out. The waitress seemed disinterested in us and the bartendar who looked to be about 12 made us feel like we were bothering him with our empty drink glasses as he was talking with other waitresses. There was a decent crowd of people, even though is was a cloudy day, not that great for golf. I ate at the bar area. The bartender was attentive and helpful. I ordered the appetizer/entree/dessert special for $14. I got a seafood bisque, baked flounder with mashed potatoes and veggies and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was very good - the fish seemed like a small cut but tasted fine and I did not walk away hungry. I was very satisfied and would return. Went to our second fundraiser breakfast at Chadwicks this morning. I can say that both were consistent in that they continuously run out of food. When the food does arrive it is either grossly under cooked (think runny dripping eggs) or overcooked (crunchy pancakes?). Plates in the serving line had food still stuck to them. Usually have good experience at Chadwicks but last Friday night got their fish special - blackened wahoo. It was overcooked, but tasted OK along along with some Cole slaw and potatoes. At 1am I was abruptly awoken with food poisoning that was real bad for 2 hours until everything was out of my system. That was a first for me in my 58 years of eating. I understand things happen - but my true disappointment was the next day, my wife leaving a message for them explaining what happened and no return call, no nothing. The only saving grace in this restaurant was a lovely hostess, Crystal. We walked in at 8:30 to a mostly empty restaurant with 5 adults and 1 toddler. For some inexplicable reason it took them over 15 minutes to get a table for us. During that time we walked around the restaurant with my 2 year old nephew, he wasn't being too loud but was walking around all the tables. He saw balloons and wandered back over into another section. Turns out it was a sectioned off area for a birthday party but the birthday girl smiled and said hi to him and didn't seem to mind. The manager, who clearly has no interest in customer service or repeat customers, came over and yelled at us. While I appreciate that it was a private party, we were already in the process of trying to get the little one out of there. The way she handled the situation was awful. After finally sitting down, our waitress really didn't have a clue what was going on. The only reason for going there - beer taps - were broken and you could only order 4 of them. Since we had 11:45 reservations , what a surprise it was to us that we would have to order either sandwiches from the golfers menu or he the Sunday buffet. Very few selections, had to ask to have food refilled while the staff just stood around, service was terrible she forgot our drinks many times we had to ask another server for drinks, pasta was dry and bland, they had bruschetta and an olive topping but nothing to put them on and when I asked three different employees including a manager they looked at me like I was crazy to ask where was the bread or something to put those on and they just said I don't know, and the potato salad was warm!!!
