I loved walking around the park and trying all the different things, tapas style. I won't lie, it's expensive so make sure to budget for it. Hubby and I split everything so we wouldn't have to worry about filling up because of course they have the best dinner spots here too and we had dinner reservations with our family. The sushi doughnut was my favorite of the Arts festival. I legit should've went back and gotten another. I also remember loving the idea of the deconstructed strawberry cheesecake and enjoying the fun of eating it. Hubby thought it was weird but it was so unique and fun I loved it. We tried a bunch of stuff for the Holiday 2025 one and I liked the food well enough but didn't find anything that really wowed me. The Liquid Nitrogen Chocolate Peppermint Mousse was fun because of the liquid nitrogen but the flavor was just ok. I really didn't like the drinks because most of them were heavy on the liquor and light on the flavor. We actually threw the Horchata Margarita away after only a few sips. I assume the food changes each year but it seems I liked the Arts festival more than the Holiday one. Hopefully we can can return during Halloween one year and try the International Food and Wine Festival. Yes, you need to pay for the event food. You also need to spot the outdoor stands that are serving the event food as opposed to the fixed locations that generally have the same menus all the time. Make a hit list, and it will make your day all that more happy. The food seems to be pretty reliably there all the time during the event. We left the park for a few hours and came back at 6pm only to be told that was the only ride not operating. I know this happens but i was super bummed. It really was the main reason we went there.

I walked down Main Street USA toward Cinderella Castle for the first time, and that moment genuinely caught me off guard regardless of how many times I had seen photos of it. The atmosphere throughout the park was dense with detail, and the theming was consistent from land to land in a way that kept the immersion intact as I moved through the day. TRON Lightcycle Run is a newer ride. The launch and banking through the light cycle sequence made for a great experience for those who want the thrill of a coaster but not too intense. Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean are the two classic attractions that held up best for me as an adult, and they are worth experiencing regardless of how familiar you are with them. Space Mountain remains a reliable crowd pleaser, and Big Thunder Mountain is an easy yes for any group. The fireworks show over Cinderella Castle in the evening was the natural close to the day, and positioning myself well in advance was worth the effort. The view down Main Street with the castle as the backdrop is the definitive Magic Kingdom image, and it looked even better in person at night. Wait times and cost are the two factors that required the most planning. Lightning Lane was worth the added expense to maximize the number of attractions I got through in a day.

Man, did my daughter and I have a fabulous time! Most if not all the Disney parks have two maybe three thrill rides (this one currently has two: Avatar Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest and their third to open next year: Indiana Jones). This is one of the parks where I don't think you really need to purchase multi pass lightning lane if you rope drop Flight of Passage and then Navi river ride. My daughter and I really enjoyed Expedition Everest ride and went on it two times. Safari was very good and a must ride. I think this is the only where Pocahontas does character meet and greet. Had a take with her - per my daughter's request. The food in this park was great. We did the quick service in Avatar (make sure to mobile order your food 30-45 minutes in advance!). Asia food counter where they had dumplings and spicy fries was a hit and same with that viral ice cream bar that everyone is talking about. We really enjoyed that ice cream! Cannot wait for 2027 when Encanto and Indiana Jones opens!

We arrived to the park around 11am, parking & entering the park was quite easy. We were able to book lightening lane passes for quite a few rides and checked out the animals and rides. We had lunch booked at the Rainforest Cafe at the front of the park for lunch. I really enjoyed this park. There was plenty of shops/snack stops to get drinks or snacks along the way. The Safari was really cool, you got to go through the animal enclosures and get up close views of a lot of the animals. With the heat of the day and the humidity Kali River Rapids was nice and refreshing. I did not get soaked but getting slightly wet was refreshing. It didn't take much time to dry off, and the ride was fun. We were able to ride most of the rides in the park and staid until closing time. My favorite ride was the Avatar ride, it was really cool to "ride" on the back of Mountain Banshee and fly through Pandora. The Festival of the Lion King show was also really awesome, it was like a mini cirque de soli performance. I highly recommend checking it out if you are on the fence. Expedition Everest was a thrill and not at all what I expected! We did not have to wait in a long line as the ride was temporarily down and we were able to get in line right as it reopened.

I had heard from locals that it's a great local option over the big theme parks. Fun Spot was pretty great, for what it was. Free parking, free admission if you don't plan on riding rides, also a discounted adult pass if you only are going on rides with your kid who is too young to ride alone. The whole place was small, maybe the area of a handful of city blocks. And on the Sunday afternoon when we went, the place was quiet enough that we never waited more than a few minutes to get onto a ride. As we were only there for a couple hours, the cashier recommended the 4 ride pass for my kids, and the companion pass for me. But if one were to spend more hours there, buying the day pass online for $59.95 is quite a bargain. Not all rides were open, but the "big" rides that most kids want (the roller coasters and the go carts) were open. My daughter, who is not a big roller coaster fan, had a harder time finding kiddie rides that she actually wanted to go on, and she watched the go carts and didn't even want to try those with me driving. However, the place was small enough that I felt fine leaving my 10 year old son to go on rides by himself while I went on the Ferris wheel or the merry go round with my 8 year old. There are a bunch of food options available throughout the park. They were definitely more affordable than Disney prices! Most of the places offered souvenir cups with discounted refills, but there were also water stations set up throughout with free cups. I'd definitely come back if I had a few hours to burn and the kids didn't want to go swimming. Hopefully at some point, my daughter will change her mind about roller coasters, though!

I guess since it's a Disney IP they gotta milk it for all it is worth, and they definitely are doing that here. I'll admit that it is one of the most visually stunning areas in AK, especially at night. I guess if you're a fan of the "Avatar" films, you'll really dig it. Otherwise, it's just a bunch of funky psychedelic fake plants and what not. The floating mountains are the main showstopper with their massive rock formations covered in vines and waterfalls that look like they're defying gravity. It's the kind of thing that makes you feel like you've actually stepped onto another planet. During the day, it's lush and colorful but at night, everything glows with bioluminescent lights which turns the area into this dreamy, neon wonderland. There are only two rides here but they are among the park's most popular. There's Flight of Passage and then the Na'vi River Journey, with the former being much better than the latter. Both attractions always have super long lines, but I'm not so sure that's a sign of their overall quality more than the fact that AK doesn't have many rides to begin with. There are some Avatar-themed food options that are creative and the atmospheric music adds a lot to set the tone. This area of the park is newer so that also means it was well designed for crowd control and flow. It never seems overly crowded over here.

My two year old was probably a bit confused about what was going on when we climbed into our safari vehicle, and I'm not sure she was totally on board throughout the ride to be honest. Although we've been to Lincoln Park Zoo, she was very very young at the time and would not remember being this close to an animal that wasn't on the level of a dog, snake, or turtle. So whilst I think being mere feet from giraffes, elephants, and wildebeests was unexpected, she said she enjoyed it. The driver was informative and didn't make the embarrassing jokes that the "captain" of the Jungle Cruise did, for which I'm thankful. In addition to the aforementioned animals, we came across black and white rhinos, lions, hippos, cheetahs, flamingos, and more. The ride was leisurely and comfortable, and there's no height requirement so anyone can ride. This was a lot of fun to start our first visit to Disney World. It's a very popular ride, apparently. 45+ minute wait times are not uncommon. We used a lightning lane to cut through most of it but we did have to wait 10 minutes or so before we got on.
