Super cute and cozy interior with some nice seating, and light music in the background. People were mainly chatting or doing work on their laptop. I got an iced americano and it's decent, but would love to return to try their food items as everything looks delicious. Appreciate that they have a stocked side bar with condiments, sugar and cream.

Its one of the best coffee shop in Sunnyside! Love the ambiance and service. Their bagel is good too!

It's been a while since I came here and I was very surprised that I never wrote a review about this place. This is a very nice place to grab a quick breakfast or coffee/snack. It's very cozy, welcoming, and clean. There are quite a few artwork that you don't feel like you are in the city until you step outside. You aren't rushed and can enjoy at your own pace. I came in to get a light lunch. I was hungrier than I thought. Since I wasn't ready to order, I asked the employee to come back to me. There were so many options so I finally decided on the Mirage: Chicken with tomato, cheddar cheese and mayo. I decided to eat in. The employee brought my order to me. I was hungrier than I thought. Good thing I had a nice stroll afterwards. The salad was fresh and crisp with a nice crunch. The sandwich was so tasty that you can't have one bite especially when it was warm. There's was a restroom though I didn't check it out. If you never been, go check them out.

Really great coffee and breakfast/ lunch spot in Sunnyside. I got a macchiato which was strong and my friend got a lavender oat milk latte that she enjoyed. The atmosphere is very chill and they have a heated outdoor area which was great even in the cold. The barista was nice and efficient.

This is a decent place to get a bagel and coffee. I can't say much more about it except as I recall they had some vegan or vegetarian options. Friendly vibe, nice decor inside.

Amazing service by the staff, great atmosphere inside the cafe & all the food came out spectacular.

A popular neighborhood spot for breakfast/lunch. We stopped by with the intention of just checking out the menu but ended up ordering a bagel and a drink. Black pearl bagel was a bit on the pricier side but fully loaded with goodies - bagel topped with cream cheese, sliced cucumber, lox and caviar. Chagaccino (mushroom latte) was smooth with a bit of a spice, similar to a chai latte. It's supposedly a good coffee alternative. I've also picked up an order from Too Good To Go - caught some pretty solid bagels.

Really really delicious food! I loved the pesto cream cheese bagel, my husband loved the lox bagel, and my six-year-old ate the entire tropical waffle! The owner is really nice too, as is the rest of the staff!

I wouldn't come here for coffee, but definitely to relax. The cup was filled to the brim with steaming hot coffee. It's supposed to be a cappuccino. The cup was served to me wet and I burned my fingers when I tried to take the lid off lol. First time here but I probably won't be back. Management, please teach your employees how to make and serve hot drinks. The milk in the photo is clearly so burnt it looks like plastic! Ambiance is nice I like the availability of outlets.

Pop in for a quick bite or stay for a while. This quaint cafe is serving up a well-rounded breakfast/brunch menu. The pain au chocolate was flaky, buttery, and airy. I wish it were heated up, but I didn't ask. The coffee was smooth, nutty, and flavorful and paired perfectly with the croissant. I'll be back for sure!

I love this little cafe. I arrived early for taste of Sunnyside and my friend had been here a number of times before so we popped in for some coffee. I ended up getting an iced hazelnut latte and it was really delicious. Both strong and sweet and a delightful nutty flavor. My friend got the macchiato. All of their food sounds delicious. I only sampled their baklava because I knew I'd be eating a ton later but it was one of the best I've legitimately ever had. Their signature bagels sound soooo good. A pesto bagel sandwich? Sign me up. I saw some other people at tables with huge, fresh salads and sandwiches and it all looked great. I love the vibe here as well. They have local art work for sale on the walls and stunning colorful glass lamps hanging from the ceiling.

Terrific cappuccino! Quite a few tables had platters of food that looked absolutely delicious! What caught my eye was the size of the bagels H U G E!

guys the food was IMMACULATE, the environment was such VIBES and the owners were so nice. You order and pick up the food at the counter and you can sit anywhere, it is a small restaurant so there's only a few tables but it is really nicely decorated and organized so nothing feels too crowded. the lox sandwich was so fresh and delicious that every bite made me want more. The egg was really well made but didn't have salt which I had to ask for. Not pictured: my Nutella caramel latte which was heavenly and I would come back for every time

    Do they have outdoor dining?

Hi, Christina! Yes, we have plenty! Hope to see you soon)

Are there any great Indian spots left in the area? My favorite went out of business a year ago.

This is not Indian establishment. This is more of a cafe (pastries, breakfast/brunch, teas/coffee).

I ordered the Worth It Bagel ($16.75), which is their lox bagel with all the works although I skipped the capers on mine. My bagel was ready within minutes and I was on my way. The bagel is hefty and was enough for two meals. They also spread a good amount of cream cheese from both sides sandwiching the lox, onions and tomatoes. This is a delicious bagel amongst so many bagel spots in NYC. It's too bad their locations are not the most convenient for me, but definitely would recommend if you're in the area.

They gave a generous serving of the lox, and it went well with the cream cheese and everything bagel. The bagel was a bit too crispy in my opinion, but the overall bagel sandwich was quite good as all the ingredients went well with each other. Compared to the top bagels in the city, Utopia is a bit lacking, but still very solid. There's very few bagel spots in LIC, so this is a great addition to the area. Overall, I would recommend this place if you live in LIC and want bagels but don't want to travel into Manhattan.

They have stood the test (or taste) of time because of their delicious, freshly baked bagels. They have the perfect combination of a soft chewy texture on the inside and a wonderful crisp crust on the outside. There's so many options when it comes to what type of bagel to order, it's hard to decide because they're all so good. There is also a large variety cream cheeses, which are all made on the premises. You can't go wrong with the lox bagel - plentiful, flavorful lox, cream cheese and capers. I love their chicken salad. It's always so fresh, tasty and it doesn't have too much mayonnaise. The staff is friendly and attentive. The coffee is good and it's a perfect way to start your day!

They've done such an outstanding job across the board (customer service, price, food, etc.) that I am constantly thinking about going back. Located on the constantly busy (#2) 30th Ave, one wouldn't notice this place as being any different from any other bagel shop. There's hardly any seating but a steady stream of customers all throughout the day. The NSFW signage (#3) keeps the place fresh and interesting, if not extremely memorable. The first thing that is offered (and often complimentary) is their fried rice balls, dubbed "Ben's Balls" that are mixed with seasoned rice, kimchi, topped with a gochujang mayo that would wake up any sleepyhead. Each bite had a nice crunch, but the lingering effect of the kimchi makes it addicting. It is the ultimate complementary snack, a desired, potluck item, and frankly genius. This is not something I would ever consider getting out a bagel shop, but having had them I would gladly buy them by the dozens. Most folks are here for the Seoul Meets Bagel (SMB) and rightfully so: it's layered with chopped bulgogi meat, cheese, egg, kimchi, topped with gochujang mayo and is packed with flavor. While the dank ass pork sandwich is a crude name, but it's not hard to see why it's one of their best sellers. Their regular bagels are also excellent. Folks who are expecting a large variety of cream cheese may find it disappointing that there's only a handful in the display, but they do have lox, bacon scallion, tofu cream cheese, and some flavored cream cheese. For what it's worth, my toasted everything bagel with lox was fabulous. It was pillowy soft, nicely toasted, and extremely filling. Offering Korean savory bagels wouldn't be complete without actual Korean fare, which is also a part of their larger than expected menu. It includes items such as Korean fried chicken, kimbap, pajeon (various), bibimbap, kalbi, ramyum, and mandoo. This is in addition to the burgers, breakfast platters and sandwiches, and a number of pastries. The staff is mostly Spanish and English speaking, in addition to the owner Ben who brings Korean to the table. Prices are very reasonable for Astoria and I'm hoping they continue to stay that way. This spot is the ultimate neighborhood spot and I'm insanely jealous of all the residents in the area that get to enjoy this on the regular. ___________ (#1) Why mess with something that doesn't need changing? Oh, because palate + innovation. (#2) And incredibly gentrified. (#3) One sign reads: "My happy place is when I tell people to .... FU, KMA, MF, STFU, SOB, SMD." Oh how New York.

We came in and he knew we were first time customers from just us looking at the menu. We ordered the bulgogi and chicken bagel sandwiches, along with a side of onion rings, but afterwards he whipped out 2 free Ben's balls for us to try. They were really tasty and a nice snack if I didn't want a sandwich. While we waited, he talked to us more, especially since we weren't from Astoria but happened to be around there so we wanted to try it out. While we were waiting he also whipped out some nutella banana pudding and he told us to just help ourselves. It was super tasty and it was also funny because the sugar made me really happy since I was hungry already. He told me I looked really happy as I was eating it LOL, which I definitely was. After getting the sandwiches, the guy who was at the register also gave us 2 sour patch kids out of nowhere. The vibes here are fun and you definitely see Ben having fun while shouting orders to the back and engaging with customers. As for the food itself, the sandwiches were PACKED. It was hard to get my mouth around either one of them. I split them with my boyfriend so we could try both. The bulgogi one was really good but i felt like it could have used some kimchi to cut some of the richness and add a little more dimension to it. I actually enjoyed the chicken one a bit more because it felt like Korean fried chicken put into a bagel. It was soy garlic too which I love with korean fried chicken. I have also been meaning to go back because I have been craving that after having it. The sandwiches were so filling that even though we split both of them, I wasnt able to finish it and saved it for later. The onion rings weren't my favorite because they were kinda ones you find in the frozen section of the grocery store, but then again you wouldnt come here for those anyways. Aside from their specialty sandwiches, they also make regular bagel sandwiches and their prices are really great for what you find in NYC these days. I would definitely come back and recommend people to try their specialty bagel sandwiches.
