This is a great place. We stumbled across this place somewhat accidentally and were pleasantly surprised. We were able to get a seat overlooking the vineyard and it was incredible. Our bread was hot from the oven. The muscles were plump and juicy. My Crocque Madame was amazing, with a perfectly cooked egg and great ham. and were pleasantly surprised.

Cappuccino and pot de creme - both very good!

This might be one of my more frequented restaurants, especially for a nice lunch. I always get the Madame croquet, because where else can you get it?? It's been consistent over the last ~6 years which is a huge testament to the kitchen. I love being able to see the kitchen. Service is always good. Can't wait for the stone cold red to return to the menu. Love checking out the art on display, as it changes just about every time we come.

Grass fed burger minus the bun, $18

Last Saturday, I sat in the tasting room section, but ordered from the bistro. The tasting room is nice, but kind of a tight fit. There was live music (man with guitar), and that was really nice - especially being in front of a fireplace. Food: my friend and I both ordered the grass fed burger. I asked it be served without the bun. The portion was perfect, and the food was tasty - especially the fries and both sauces. The burger was $18, and based on the quality of the food and the portions, it was worth it. Downside: we each ordered a glass of the same wine. When we received our bill, each glass was $12! Way overpriced, in my opinion - we would've prefered to just order one whole bottle - I wish the waiter would've suggested it. Overall, I would visit and order food from the bistro again! The deck and outdoor ambiance are amazing (weather permitting)

Charming place for lunch! This was our best lunch ever! Kayla our server was fantastic! She was very helpful and kind. I enjoyed a flight of wine, which was 3 2 ounce pours of your choice!! We started with the Camembert en croute. Life changing pastry with melted cheese and sliced apples with a caramel sauce. The croque madame and chicken cordon blu was served hot and delicious! I would definitely return, and recommend this great place!

Saturday late lunch venue. Great place! Refreshments: Had the tasting wine flight - any 3 glasses from wine menu. Very good option as you try 3 different wines for $15. Food: had the salad to start, friend had the Camembert which was actually a whole wheel of cheese covered in pastry, far too much to eat as came with baguette too! I had the chicken which was delicious. Gnocchi also good. We didn't need it but had dessert. The raspberry cake was not too sweet. A lovely walk after lunch around the grounds. Would def recommend this place for a lazy weekend lunch!

We went there for brunch on a way home and were very surprised of the high end quality of food. Service is good but slow. Duck dish was amazing. We will be back.

Should I make a reservation for a Tuesday evening, or is it safe to assume it won't be too busy?

I think they have trivia that night so I would make a reservation just in case :)

Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the kitchen. At one point, I noticed servers handling bread with their hands and then bringing out food without washing them, which was honestly unpleasant to see while sitting at my table. It made the overall experience feel less comfortable than it should have been. I'd still come back for the food, but I really hope the service and hygiene standards improve.

I was traveling for work and shared a meal with my coworker at a'vert brasserie on a Tuesday night…read more The restaurant was pretty empty unlike some of the other popular restaurants in the area. We were seated by the window and were given freshly baked bread. We ordered the French classics: mussels, escargot, duck leg confit, and steak and fries. The mussels came out first and were pretty average. I usually like sipping the wine broth it comes with or dipping fries/bread into the broth. The escargot had plenty of oil and seasoning. It was actually too salty even though my coworker requested less salt on everything. I enjoyed dipping the fresh bread into the oil. Lastly came the entrees. I was a bit disappointed in both of them. The hanger steak was cooked medium rare like I wanted but the texture was not great. I was hoping for a more tender cut and this was a bit tough and lean. The frites were cooked well and very crispy. The duck confit was very tender but I didn't think it was amazing. Overall I don't think I will be returning to this restaurant with so many other great options around. I might be biased as I am not too familiar with French cuisine but we already sampled most of the classics already.

Definitely need a reservation to get in on the weekend fyi! When we arrived we were seated at a beautiful booth. The interior is gorgeous here. Our server was fantastic I wish I remembered his name! He suggested some great items. We started with their steak frites and I cannot rave more about it! First this plate is definitely shareable. Among myself, my husband and young toddler we destroyed this. My daughter was eating so much of this steak and so were we! It was sooo tender and we loved the gravy on top. The fries were amazing and when they were drenched in that gravy it was chefs kiss! What really brought it all the together was the salad paired with it- it was light and refreshing and the dressing was so good! For dessert our server suggested the chocolate custard so we got that and a berry handpie. We ate both and kept saying "oh my god" with each bite. My daughter especially loved the chocolate custard but my husband and I loved both equally! We immediately said after our meal how we have to come back. We cannot wait to try other menu items and their cocktails next time. We are huge fans and will definitely be back!!

We visited Arethusa Farms years ago, and we felt like pioneers discovering gold. I digress. I loved our experience at Le Mazet. The food is scrumptious and although the environ is cozy and has an inviting feel of a warm country cottage, the refined service is on par with the legendary Four Seasons Restaurant in NYC (not to be mistaken for the hotel flag). Chef's kiss to Jared and his inimitable staff!
