Soup and entree brought out within minutes. I had to enjoy my soup from my lap vs the table cause there was no room
    Mary R.

Came here for Father's Day brunch with a reservation and were seated outside on a beautiful day. We were greeted and seated fairly quickly, and our server was initially attentive when taking our drink and food orders. However, the dining experience quickly went downhill. Although we specifically asked for our soups to come out first, they were brought to the table just minutes before our entrées, making it hard to enjoy either properly. What stood out even more was watching several tables, all seated after us, receive their food well before we did. It's hard to ignore the pattern, especially when none of those tables looked like ours. To make matters worse, I found a hair embedded in my burger patty. While the server was apologetic and took it back right away, it was understandably off-putting. The food had potential, but that, combined with the service dynamic, left a bad impression. It's disappointing, especially since this isn't the first time I've heard similar experiences from other friends who have dined here. It gives the unfortunate impression that not all guests are treated equally, and that's not something I can overlook. I won't be returning.

Bay Burger was dry. Sweet potato fries were good though.

The food was meh, but the view almost makes up for it. Food was not made with love, but again the view was breathtaking

I had Chambers Bay Grill on my bookmarks and it wasn't really because I heard good things about it but it was more of a draw and an excuse (not that one was needed) to go to Chambers Bay itself which is just so very beautiful so that association alone is what prompted me to add this place. And the hope that a lot of gophers that go here the restaurant just may be getting a bad rap for no reason. But alas the reviews and overall average didn't exactly lead me wrong at all. Some of the complaints that people indicated in their reviews I didn't detect but my own disappointment was with the food. I am not a huge breakfast eater anyway but I do like Avocado Toast around the morning hours and that is what I got. The avocado itself was made into a spread on my toast which is normal for this dish but unfortunately avocado and how it tastes can be a tricky one. The avocado on my toast didn't taste fresh at all but more something that was less on the natural side and loaded with preservatives. There was also an odd olive or oily flavor to the avocado which was totally out of place for this dish. I ate it all but it was not all that impressive. Steve got a breakfast burrito and we both decided we liked that dish was one we liked better over mine. But rather than having salsa to go with the burrito it was accompanied by ketchup? Another head scratching moment. Despite the placement of the restaurant you don't get much view of Chambers Bay at all if you sit inside but it looks like in the summer you can sit outside and get the view in then. But perhaps just get drinks... there are better restaurant options not far away from the park.

Underwhelming in every way. Small square room with regular sized windows- shame because it's such a beautiful spot. Food was mediocre at best. Bartender was very nice and was the best part of the visit. Too bad.

We went for my Human's birthday weekend! It was gorgeous despite having to sit inside. The service was quick, the Bloody Mary was really yummy. We order 2 entrees, Bloody Mary, and a cider. I think our favorite part was the service as well as the PoTaToeS!!! It was a tri-mix of purple, regular, and yams! They were roasted to perfection with the perfect amount of salt and seasoning! We enjoyed it thoroughly! Definitely will be back when outdoor seating is open!

    Should say closes at 4:30pm

Came around 4:45pm, sun was not set yet, and just wanted a quick appetizer & drink and they didn't seat us. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth when a restaurant does that to me and will not be coming back. They need to change their times to "closes at 4:30pm".

I love eating here after walking the trail, so I can gain back whatever calories I walked off..it's all about balance lol. But seriously the house made ranch alone would make me come back, everything was made really well, definitely coming back.

My fiancé and I ate here for the first time. The service is amazing and nice. They serve our foods well the dessert is delicious. We would come back again

Overall great food but the service was okay. My sister and I had to ask multiple times for ranch but that was it. We truly enjoyed the view, it was a gorgeous day but windy so I was thankful we were inside in the AC instead of outside.

Gorgeous views, attentive service, tasty food! I want the make this a weekly visit all summer long. Close to grocery stores to make it a worthwhile trip from Downtown Tacoma.

The breakfast was very good - particularly the hashbrowns, which were among the freshest and most uniquely prepared that I've ever enjoyed - and the personalized friendly service was second to none. Well, I've had the club sandwich which she said was very good and I'll tell you what happened from the looks of it it was definitely good. I had the pastrami Benedict, I will say that that missed the mark. There are two reasons that really miss the mark. One of them was the hollandaise sauce, which was extremely runny and a very pale yellow, which told me that they added too much liquid to it, and there wasn't enough fat or it was just a powdered mix and they over mixed it, and it had no flavor to it. The main reason I was disappointed was the pastrami they used, they used deli, sliced pastrami and chopped it up. If you're going to have a pastrami Benedict on your menu, make sure it's actual pastrami chunks and it is tender. The deli pastrami did not have any flavor to it. I asked our server about it and she said that one of the other girls that worked there really liked it and she ate it all the time, but it was too spicy for her. I will tell you right now. There was literally no spice to that dish at all nor was there seasoning. I would go back and try something different as everything else on the menu looks good and I give every breakfast restaurant at least two tries.

Extra bonus points that it's in Proctor - my favourite stomping ground. I got there not too long after they opened and about half of the tables were already taken. I found a place at the bar and was quickly greeted. I didn't see a drink menu, so I figured a mimosa is the obvious choice. They also have apple and grapefruit juice so you can mix it up a bit! For breakfast I went with the Mediterranean Veggie Hash, which was excellent! Good ratios of all the ingredients and I will absolutely be eating another one! When our food came I asked for butter.... butter never came. She checked on us 20 mins later and I just gave her my card. She came back with the credit card slip to sign and my copy. There was no itemized receipt so I dont know exactly what I paid for but I assume $134 for 5 people sounded about right I gave 4 stars cause the food made up for it... or atleast my dish did! French toast was nice and fluffy. The syrup tasted like a caramel/maple mix. Goodm but too sweet toward the end Blueberry pancakes were nice and fluffy 6oz steak and eggs was the winner. Your choice of bread. Comes with hasbrowns. The steak was cooked medium which was fine. The sauce on the steak is what got me. There was pesto, shredded cheese and some type of ketchup/may/ maybe Sriracha mix. But it was REALLY tasty. Southwest hash - great portion. Has brown postion was nice and crispy. They were very busy. It was father's day. So im sure it was just an off day with the service. Would definitely try again The only suggestion i would make would be to put the items that dont fit on the main plate, on a smaller plate. These tables have limited room. So giving each patron 2 large plates (one for french toast and an equally large plate for eggs and bacon) took up a lot of room on a 4 person table where you sat 5

If I had it again I'd ask to add a squirt of bbq inside or ask for more sauce on top. Hubby ordered the Shrimp and Grits. They were great and better than most places we've had them out. Hubby crumbled his side of bacon on top. They were Creamy, savory, cheesy and served piping hot. Jenny said sometimes people ask to add andouille sausage or catfish on top. Last - OMG that was a THICK biscuit! It was super dense. The gravy was delicious. But the biscuit takes up most the room on the plate. So my gravy to biscuit ratio was off. I still took half my omelet and half my biscuit in a to go box. Left the hash browns. They have BIG portions. Amazing atmosphere and service. If you come in from the front door there is a small counter seating area as well as booths and tables. Beyond that main room there is more space in the back.
