    Ham Sandwich

Stopped by Chambo's on the way to Gillette Castle. Very nice establishment. I ordered a Ham sandwich on a hard roll it was delicious and quite filling. Really hit the spit, will return next time I'm in town! Service was also exceptional.

Discovered this fantastic deli this week and I can't praise it enough! Great location / parking and the staff are great - courteous and friendly... The "Nonno" Italian mix grinder was perfect and the best I've had- this the sandwich you'd expect at an old school deli...I would go out of my way for this sandwich--the meatball grinder was also amazing and I can't wait try the other sandwiches/pizza... don't waste your time with chains... This is where you wanna go, trust me! Great folks who deserve your business...can't wait to return...hoping they soon have a web site but in the meantime just Google them and you can see pictures of the menu - also attached.

This is what's left of the pastrami on rye. Fabulous!

Price was high ($16) for the Melilli Sub; which had cold chicken cutlet that was overly salty. Tossed 1/2 out.

Delicious sandwiches, packed full! Nice people too. Yelp telling me to write more is annoying - so here we are.

Great sandwiches! Good customer service. Every town needs a small deli/sandwich shop like this one.

WOW!!!! Holy moly this place was amazing from start to finish. We made a last minute decision to…read moretry out Grano Arso Saturday and ordered the tasting menu (kind of a crazy decision financially when not celebrating anything but you only live once right?). Well, everything was fantastic especially the pastas. They really know what they're doing with their daily fresh (insanely light) pasta and sauce. We were literally scraping the bowl with our spoons to get the lasts bites of both the ravioli and tagliatelle - absolutely DELICIOUS. Outside of pastas everything else was flavorful and tasty; especially that braised short rib! Truly an unforgettable and incredibly crave-able meal + the service and drinks on top of it all made it even better. I've wanted to go for years since it's constantly all over popular foodie accounts and even then nothing prepared me for how delicious this meal was. I can honestly say in the 6 years that I've lived in CT some of these dishes were the best I've EVER had in the state and 1000% the best texture pasta I've experienced overall. Whether this be a random dinner decision or a place to celebrate something special book a reservation ASAP! You will not regret it!!

Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and the specials. They start off with the bread service, a nice brown bread with homemade butter. Nothing is better than real butter. We had a stuffed agnolotti pasta. It was so good. The bolognese was solid as well. The roasted carrots were awesome with the green crema. Definitely skip the scallops it was like swallowing a spoonful of salt. Lastly the grilled chicken with pasta underneath was moist but not memorable. the dessert was the star!!!! the chocolate Nutella cake with ice cream YUM. Since the menu is rotating, i would definitely return to try some new things.

The décor is tasteful and modern without feeling overdone, and it gives the whole place a comfortable, coastal vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer over your coffee. Service was excellent during our visit. The staff was courteous, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive, which always makes a meal more enjoyable. The brunch menu has a lot of tempting options, and everything we ordered delivered. I had the soufflé with sourdough toast and a side of bacon, and it was delicious. The soufflé was light and flavorful, and the sourdough was a great accompaniment. We also tried the Nutella-stuffed French toast and the breakfast potatoes. The French toast was a great indulgent brunch dish, and the potatoes were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Overall, it was a really enjoyable brunch experience. If you're in the Essex area and looking for a comfortable spot with a great brunch menu, Noah's 63 is definitely worth checking out. Parking was a little tricky, as the lot next the pizza place next door was full despite there only being one other diner in the restaurant. But if you go down the driveway next to the museum you can park next to a boat in the boatyard and the entrance is down there.
