I think I may have eaten at one of their other locations before and didn't really love it, but this weekend, late in the evening, my partner and I were hungry and so pizza delivery it was! We ordered a regular pie, which arrived and, in my opinion, was pretty...lukewarm. Personally, no amount of alcohol would make me overlook pizza that doesn't come hot. There wasn't anything special about this pie. Wasn't that great reheated either. I will say, my partner and friend really liked it, and the garlic knots (also not hot) were tasty, so I will give them some credit for that. I came in trying to resolve a simple issue calmly and respectfully, and instead dealt with someone who was dismissive, evasive, and completely uninterested in helping. Mike contradicted himself multiple times, ignored basic questions, and repeatedly shut down any attempt to get clarity or assistance. What was most concerning is that he refused to provide any information about a manager, supervisor, or owner, and even stated that he doesn't know the name of anyone above him. That alone is a major red flag. There was no accountability and no willingness to resolve anything. Throughout the interaction, he was often in the back with AirPods in, disengaged and avoiding customers rather than addressing the issue at hand. I was patient and gave him multiple chances to help, but it was clear he simply didn't care. Champion Pizza has a reputation and history, which makes this experience especially disappointing. If Mike is the one handling your issue, don't expect it to go anywhere. This location needs serious oversight from ownership. read more

tldr sadly not the same as the other champion pizza locations with thin crust :,( but an OK ny slice for a quick and decently priced with tasty speciality flavors (this review is for delivery only) friends and i order two pies (truffle mushroom + half margarita + pepperoni) and by the time it arrived it was pretty lukewarm but we heated it up to give it a proper rating. overall flavors were great but the crust was pretty thick compared to the soho location which made this overall a 3/5 for ny standards but a 4/5 for a place in the US my ratings below are for the flavors: truffle mushroom (4/5) - different types of mushrooms with plentiful topping of ricotta + subtle flavor of the truffle was perfect balance margarita (4.25/5) - sweet/fresh tasting tomato sauce was the star with the freshness of the basil and decent amount of cheese - lightest of the three options pepperoni (4.25/5) - pepperoni had a good flavor+ crunch and there was a lot of topping but this balanced the cheese + sauce pretty nicely...did get a bit salty toward the end low key a pepperoni margarita would be the best flavor combo! I am stunned at the good reviews. I ordered 4 slices for delivery. All 4 slices were placed on top of each other (2 and 2). I am sure it doesn't take a genius to realize that if you put a slice of pizza on top of another slide it would get soggy, right??? Well someone needs to package their pizza better. He says that he remembers this exactly and he personally cooked it and it was delivered. He can provide no proof and he was extremely rude and belligerent.
