During that time, I successfully picked up orders from the Adidas Los Cerritos store on four separate occasions without any issues. My experience has always been simple: I enter the store, wait in line, provide my order information, and an associate retrieves my purchase from the sales floor or back stock. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was completely different. When I arrived to pick up my prepaid order, I was assisted by an associate named Angel, who has a "Trinidad" tattoo on his neck. From the beginning, his attitude was dismissive and confrontational. After I provided my order number, he told me he could not release my order, even though the exact item was visibly available on both the sales floor and in the back stock. I calmly explained that I had successfully used Click & Collect at this location several times before, but he repeatedly interrupted me and insisted he could not provide the item. My only goal was to pick up merchandise I had already purchased the night before. Angel eventually checked on the order but returned saying it was not ready for pickup. I explained that I had already paid for the item and it made no sense to purchase it again. Another associate, Michelle, then stepped in and handled the situation professionally. She took my name, phone number, and order number and said she would investigate the status of my order. Unfortunately, Angel's behavior escalated. He became verbally aggressive, using profanity and making comments such as "shut the f*** up" and "I swear I'm going to s*ck you." He then called for store security, despite the fact that I had remained calm and respectful throughout the interaction. Several customers waiting in line witnessed the incident, making the experience even more embarrassing. I informed Michelle that I wanted to file a complaint against Angel. She apologized and said she would speak with the store manager, a gentleman with blonde hair who wears glasses. I explained the situation to him, and he stated that the Adidas website was providing incorrect Click & Collect information. However, that explanation contradicted my previous successful pickups at the same location. I questioned the purpose of offering same-day Click & Collect if customers cannot receive items that are physically in stock. I had specifically purchased the merchandise to wear to the Colombia vs. Portugal match on Saturday, but I was told I would have to wait another five or six days to receive it. The manager suggested I buy the item again in-store and cancel my online order, but that was not possible because the cancellation window had already expired. Until this incident, I had always enjoyed shopping at the Adidas Los Cerritos location and had never experienced any problems. While I would consider returning in the future, Angel's behavior was unacceptable and reflected poorly on the store. I hope Adidas reviews this incident and provides additional customer service training so that other customers are treated with the professionalism and respect they deserve.

Some were wearing a walkie and an ear piece. I finally found a guy to get me a shoe size. Waited, waited and waited. Then I see him with his backpack and water as if he was leaving. I walked around but didn't make a purchase. On Saturday June 13, I visited the Downey store (because it was next to Five Below) and what a difference in the CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The store manager Ari (sp) was just what you are looking for in a shopping experience. He was knowledgeable, informed me about 'shoe of the week' and other details about Hibbett that will encourage me to shop there again. I'm partial to Downey because of Ari, he's the gold standard! Every store needs his level of service. I made my purchases at Downey location because customer service is key!!

Will usually walk with my niece to the park and we will walk all the way down to 5 below, then turn in front of the shops, which lead us to Hibbett. Will go inside just to see what shoes they have. Have purchased quite a few pairs of shoes online, have had to return a pair or two at the store. The customer service is great at this place. They greet you as soon as you enter the shop. Sometimes I can't hear them so won't say anything back to them so hopefully they won't take it the wrong way. The value is just like any other shoe retail store, haven't had the time to show up in the morning to a shoe drop. But with the big drops they're usually sold out. I do hope they don't let customers grab more than one pair or give resellers chances at buying a shoe before hand. Really glad there's a Hibbett close to my place, can't wait to stop by a Saturday morning for a sneaker drop.

I feel like they had a good variety of women's working shoes and a lot of other shoes and boots in general. They had some merchandise at great clearance prices but I didn't have enough time to look some more. The quality, and the service have gone downhill, they no longer care. I recently purchased a pair of new hiking boots at this store, wore them once then tried to return them 3 days later. Apparently the signs which they have in front of each register that say "IF YOU ARE NOT COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH YOUR PURCHASE YOU MAY RETURN IT FOR AN EXCHANGE OR REFUND WITHIN 60 DAYS" doesn't mean what it says. I was told since I used the boots they couldn't take them back. I demanded a refund, and eventually the manager. She told me the return policy clearly says they don't take back used merchandise. I asked "where does it say that" she said "it says it right here", so I paused briefly and read the whole policy. She pointed to the sentence "Purchases of irregular quality or defaced-label items are not eligible for return". It doesn't say anything about used. I explained "that's not what that says. If they didn't want used returns, they would use the word used". Eventually after some fussing she refunded my money. I asked for the 800# to corporate. I called them later, and got some illiterate person who didn't speak colloquial English, and was speaking so quietly I couldn't hear. I hung up and called a second time, got another whispering person. Hung up, called a third time, the third time at least I could hear them, but their 3rd world English was poor, and I'm not 100% sure they escalated my problem to anyone. I got an automated email and no follow up. I am now 100% done with Columbia. Product quality issues repeatedly, warranty refusals, poor customer service, arguments over wording of return policies. Forget it. REI is a much better value.
