I had a surprise birthday party on 10/25/25 and they did an amazing job.. shout out to victor and the whole crew. I would definitely recommend this place. All the guests loved the food and had seconds. A lot of ppl also took food to go. I'm glad they provide tin foil pans for guests to take food because at venues like that they usually don't do that and the food gets thrown away.. shout out to Nora the bar tender who kept up with the high volume of people ordering drinks at the bar. read more

Very good food and ok prices. We have hosted many events here and service was good. Staff can be just a slightly more attentive but other than that it's a good place to host a nice event. Parking can be a little challenging if the place is busy. They have their own parking lot but it's not for so many cars at once but it's not something that can be figure out on. The Chandelier is a fixture in the Bayonne/JC community. As a born and raised resident of Jersey City, i have celebrated countless special moments here including my own wedding! What i love about this catering venue is they are so accommodating and will work with your budget. They have recently completed a full renovation including new floors and Chandeliers so it looks absolutely dazzling and modern. Banquet halls/catering venues can often fall short on the food but not the Chandelier!! The food is always consistent and delicious. My wedding was 16 years ago and people still remember the food being delicious! I just attended a bday party on Friday and its STILL the same!! Me and my mom also come every year to their mothers day buffet. Im so glad that with a lot of venue's closing in our area that the Chandler is still thriving! read more

I lived in Jersey City for many years and never got to come here till today! I know there's been reconstruction and changes. I came here for a friends baby shower. The banquet hall was small and cute. It only held about 5 tables. I think there's a few halls within the building. Food was mediocre. Nothing crazy. There was a salad, chicken franchise, beef, and pasta. The pasta was over cooked and mushy. The beef was very chewy and rubbery. The salad seemed old too. Some of the lettuce were brown. As for waiters/waitresses I hardly saw them. Didn't seem too attentive. Parking was horrible. It's Bayonne though, what else would you expect? All In all, everything was mediocre. Nothing stood out. I apologize for not taking pictures as well. I guess, I was just not into it unfortunately. At least Now I can say I came here. I don't think I would just randomly come and eat here though. Beware. The Chandelier Restaurant is under construction. Several friends took me out attached Broadway Diner (same family owners) for my birthday. After leaving, I had numerous screws and nails in all four tires. The manager wasn't sensitive. Actually, he was very mean and blamed it on the construction workers that he hired. Isn't it the manager's responsibility to make sure their parking area is safe for all customers? It was an expensive birthday buying four new tires, especially for a senior citizen living in Bayonne. I arrived late to a fund raising event tonight due to a flat tire I caught in the rain. I paid $125 for my meal. I arrived while the main course was being served. I asked the manager, Victor, if I could get the pasta and appetizer I missed while triple A was changing my tire. He rudely said no, it's your problem you arrived late. We will not Serve you the portion of the meal you missed. He said it's not our problem. HORRIBLE attitude, HORRIBLE SERVICE, mediocre food and below average venue. Went here for a birthday celebration of my aunt. Straight to the point, the dining area was a. Appropriate size as it sat 60-75 people comfortably. Nice mood lighting as well. Nonetheless, there was a lot of noise from the bar area which was separate from the ballroom. There didn't appear to be a partition of a door to separate the areas so there was a lot of noise coming from that area when there were moments where silence was needed for speakers at the event I was attending. The food served was subpar. The bread was so so and the pasta sauce was very bland. The salmon with asparagus and mash I ordered was also just blah. Not sure of the pricing however if it's anything more than $65 per person, you may want to look elsewhere. read more

Had a good time here with the family. Chandelier Restaurant is quite a nice venue for a family party. Easily held the bunch of us which was probably almost 100 people young and old. We danced the night away on the dance floor they set up. Food was alright. There were several entree choices plus other options. Nothing was mind blowingly good, but nothing was bad either. Had my daughter's bridal shower there everyone seemed pleased with the service and food. This is second hand info, but my wife was happy.

This is a nice venue for a party. They have a great food selection. I recently attended a wedding party here, and the setup was great. The tables were placed well, a nice little dance floor section going on, and drinks are fairly priced. The food for the party was buffet style , and everything was delicious. There is plenty of parking for this location too, since they own the lot across the street. read more

The Chandelier has been a go to for catered parties for as long as I can remember. The space is nice, a little outdated but it gets the job done. The food options are great especially for a brunch service. Currently eating cavatelli with broccoli, sausage and peppers, scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast and home fries. All are made perfectly. The dessert table is to die for. As in a diabetic would most likely die just looking at it. It's intense. Overall this place is great. I don't know the price point but I recommend looking into it for a party. read more

We had a 90th celebration here for my grandmother. The some of the staff mostly the women had nasty attitude. I pointed out dirty grimy cups and it seemed to be an issue with the server. Food was ok, probably less than average. My sister in law made cookies for the occasion and it seemed they didn't provide them all to the people in the event. On July 4th, we had our Wedding Reception at Chandelier. The staff was Amazing! The food was Fantastic! Victor and his staff were attentive and professional with all our guests. They worked with us through all the preparations and helped us stay within our limited budget. I came here with friends for their Sunday buffet and wow oh wow did it not disappoint! An amazing selection of items to fit everyone's taste buds. There had to be 20 or 30 options of food. Plus a carving station with turkey and pork and an omelette station. I was in heaven! The price was super reasonable too. You can't beat $26 for all that food! Went to my families baptism party last weekend, and the staff was horrible! Each waiter looked miserable, especially the only female waitress that was there. She was not friendly at all and looked angry the whole time. Overall they all seemed like they didn't want to be there. I arrived around 4:30 and they were still setting up the tables and the waitress came over and didn't even say excuse me but touched my breast and continued to place the menu in front of me. They also came around to refill drinks about three times during the whole event. The room was a decent size and the dance floor is small but big enough for around 100 people. Came for a wedding on 1 November. There were 2 other events at the same time, a birthday party and a baby shower. The baby shower was right next to our wedding. To my surprise the baby shower next door was so loud and with thumping music & bass that I could not hear the minister, bride or groom 20 feet from our table. And even more surprising, the staff did nothing about it. The buffet room for our event also served as the pass thruway for the baby shower guests. At one point there was a traffic jam as one of the baby shower guests was having challenges with her walker and kept screaming TAKE MY SHOES OFF! I felt bad for the bride & groom. The best thing I had there was baked zit bit everything else the chicken marsala, fish, and broccoli tasted like they just dumped them out of a frozen bag.....no seasoning! Made reservation for 1pm seat and arrived at 12:30 along with my 94 yr old Mother. to celebrate Mother's Day.. I waited a very long time and questioned management 3 or 4 times as to why I was still waiting for my table. I was told the people are taking their time eating and just sitting there. After 45 minutes I was a bit upset and again question as to why I was still standing there. Yes, I did have a party of 13 but after waiting that long 2 of my party had to leave to go to work so now we were down to 11. I spoke to several different people and was told that they were trying to get us a table ready well after almost 2 hrs we were finally seated at a table that was to small but we managed and happy to just be seated at this point. When the bill came I asked if they were going to take something off, I didn't expect them to take half off but a little something would have been nice. I was told it is what it is..How unprofessional! I am not a stranger to this place but, I will tell you this after today I will no longer dine there. Than to add insult to that they offered someone in my party a free glass of wine the next time we are there.Really keep your wine. You have lost a very good customer.!!! Shame on you. read more
