I didn't even get to order or try the food. So keep that in mind for my review. The decor of the restaurant looks nice, pretty trendy looking and clean. I sat down for 10 minutes and waited for someone to take my order. All of the sudden a SCREAMING argument happened between a waitress & a group of guests. I don't speak the language, but the fight went on for 10+ min without deescalation attempts from anyone. To be fair, because I don't know what the argument was about, I can't fault them too much. Arguments happen. But from a guest perspective, it's very unprofessional and rude by creating such a scene. I felt that this should've been resolved in private or outdoor. I try not to give 1 star reviews anymore, but this restaurant is racist. Don't go here unless you're Chinese. I go in and ask for food to eat there, fresh noodles need to be eaten fresh. I'm seated, and given a menu. I see what I want, so I signal for the server and she acts like she didn't see me. A Chinese couple enters and they're given menus, she takes their order right away. I'm still sitting there waiting, then I play candy crush waiting to order. The server attends to the tables around me, but continues to ignore me. I feel so embarrassed and realize I'm not going to be served I leave. I'm always traveling to East and Southeast Asia, I feel so stupid to be excited to see authentic Chinese food. read more

SO DISAPPOINTED! Based on reviews, we tried this place out.... Big mistake!!! We got the braised beef brisket noodle soup, chicken fried rice, and the Pork and shrimp dumplings. First of all, there was no brisket in the soup; only chunks of fat! I will agree that the noodles themselves were tasty, but the broth was super oily. The chicken and the chicken fried rice was mostly gristle. The pieces that were actually chicken were rubbery! So gross. Also, this place is seriously over-priced! Saw the ma pa eggplant dish and regretted not ordering it but there is a limit to what two ppl can eat! This place is beyond terrible. The food taste so nasty. The service is terrible. I was reading the reviews and some of them sound like it's friends and family of the owner. Shady business tactics. I ordered milk tea with light ice, more than half the cup was filled with ice. Even the receipt says light ice. Dumpling has no flavor. Charges $3 extra for pan fried. Looks nothing like the photo. It's like they toss the dumplings on the pan for a little bit so they have an excuse of saying it's "pan fried". Also the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. My bf and I waking towards the restaurant and saw a man laying on a bench (out side the restaurant) with his head on top of a pack of napkins constantly picking his nose and coughing. While we were waiting for the servers to come give us at-least some kind of restaurant service, we saw that same man walked in. Guess what?! He is the cook. We saw him put the pack of napkin back in the small room next to the cashier, walking in and out of the kitchen. How disgusting is that so have someone so unsanitize making your food. read more

My husband and I accidentally find out this restaurant. We were planned to go to the luxe buffet right next to this restaurant but saw the signs and decided to try it out. The food here is pretty authentic. It is pretty hard to find the authentic Chinese food around this area but this restaurant changed my mind! The store is clean and trendy interior design. Ordered: Sesame cold noodles (liangpi) Pulled Pork Sandwich (roujiamo) Fried noodle The food portion is quite big but we finished all, all taste good. Sadly forgot to take pictures. Waitress are really friendly. Before we asked Already bring out the high chair for baby. Also give a free desert for baby. Definitely will come back if we stop by Ontario. read more

Best Noods in the IE. I love hand pulled noodles and this place does not disappoint. An order of noodles comes out fast, hot and delicious everytime I come here. I came here for friends' gathering. The restaurant offered the authentic Xi-an' style food. I was very surprised that I could eat the local food and noodle of Xi-an in Ontario. We initially thought the wrong dish was brought out, but the server assured my coworker that the dish was correct, and it isn't supposed to be actual tortilla. Oddly enough, another coworker ordered a dish that had burger in the name... it was a pulled meat on a bun. So the burger at a Chinese restaurant was a burger, but Chinese tortilla is not tortilla... I tried a few bites of it and that was a few bites too many. The weird part was my taste buds were useless for a few minutes after those bites. Not sure if it had odd spices or what, but it was an unwanted surprise. Let's say this dish was packaged up basically untouched and taken home. Maybe someone will try it while it sits I n the fridge. I came here with my family to eat bc it had almost 5 star rating. I wanted to experience what the hype was all about. I had their fried beef noodles. On their menu and in their photo said and shown that the item is not spicy. So I ordered it for my toddler and I to share. My husband got their lamb stir fry which comes spicy. When we got the fried noodles it looked amazingly delicious. Once I tried it, yes it was delicious but also spicy... I tried asking the waiter for hot water so I can see if there is any chili oil and of course there was plenty that floated on top of the water. Also Once all the noodles were moved it was sitting on a plate of chili oil. I asked the waitress prior to ordering of this was spicy and if it was can she not make it spicy. She said no it's not spicy, but all their spicy items were identified with a chili pepper picture next to the item name. Even when I pointed IN the dish that there's chili oil and green chili peppers in the dish... My daughter couldn't eat the noodles and we basically only went there for her bc the noodles looked appetizing. Did the waitress come back to check on us after my comment or even during our meal ? Nope. Not once until I raised my hand and gestured for the check. My husband lamb dish. He said it was good. Just wondered why all the dishes had bell peppers in them. Yummm! Stumbled into this restaurant (that looks more like a swanky cafe) for lunch one day and it did not disappoint. The restaurant specializes in food from a specific region in China and it was definitely different but good. You must be a fan of spicy cuisine to really appreciate the delicacy of the dishes. The handmade noodles are simply AMAZING. Service was also very good. Self-serve lemon or lime spiked water. Large portions, very shareable, but pretty pricey for a meal at lunch. We walked in to poor hospitality. Once seated we were offered plastic red solo cups. While the restaurant (who were Asian decent) had standard Resturant cups. We then sat for 20 min with no server asking for orders. All of the serves stood in the back. We ultimately left. No one ever took our orders or spoke. The worst service I've ever had. read more

I will definitely give 0 star if yelp has the function. This place is disgusting! DO NOT COME, ESPECIALLY WITH YOUR KIDS. Services staffs are not well trained. The one who's name is Gina served a big bowl of hot noodles over two toddlers who are around 2 years. My friend told her do not place the bowl there and she just threw the bowl and went away. When my friend questioned her, she jumped over to our table and was every mad and rude at us, and keep complaining that it was our fault not holding the bowl well from her hand! Also she argued that on the table there's no room to place the bowl. But absolutely not, there are two seats available and half of the table are free to serve plates. With very bad attitude, Gina continue to argue she was nothing wrong and even questioning my friend: "do you speak to your mom like this?". She thought we had no right tell her what to do and deserved to be treated rudely because we didn't talked to her very nice like we talk to our parents!!! Can not believe the logic and ethics. Then, she request to review the CCTV proving herself and she accused that I am blind, with no eyes seeing her doing anything wrong! HOW RIDICULOUS THIS IS, as a service staff, she should at least know to keep hot plates away from kids. Shame on her, she has no ethics, no apologies, but ability to accuse customers of not taking the hot bowl well. We used to come to this place for carrying out or dine-in lunch a lot since too limited choices for Chinese foods around. But will never come again. Terrible experience, no apology from anyone during the argument until I called the owner after. She did apologize for Gina, but I'm sure Gina is still working there. Please avoid coming over if you want a happy meal with families and friends. If you cannot speak to them nicely like they are your parents,even when they did something dangerous to your kids, they definitely will ruin your beautiful day and happy mood!
