Meaty Roast Duck with thin and crispy skin
    Agnes Y.

This is at the back of Jade Xiang Yue and also offers Hunan and Cantonese cuisines which seems like an odd couple. The sign on the outside is confusing. It is Changsha Rice Noodle in Chinese but Jade Tea BBQ in English. The ambiance is pleasant, bright, and comfortable. Their roast duck is on special and only $15 for half a duck which is a great deal. Since the two of us were not very hungry, we only ordered half a duck and a bowl of Spicy Beef Rice Noodle. I think the menu (via QR code) says that the duck could be a 30 minute wait, but our food came out within 20 minutes. The roast duck was excellent, probably the best in the Bay Area. It was definitely 5-star caliber. The skin was crispy and thin and without a thick layer of fat underneath which is quite common for roast duck. The meat was thick, moist, and tasty. The rice noodle had good texture and very savory soup base. Unfortunately the spicy beef was not like regular braised beef but kinda like beef jerky. It was thin and kinda dry. The variety of food they offer is rather interesting. The only Cantonese items are the BBQ meats, chow fun, chow mein, and fried rice. I suppose the other dishes are Hunan style. They off crawfish, skewers, appetizers, stir fries, desserts, etc. I took a peek into their kitchen and saw a lot of ducks hanging. It did look like they roasted their ducks on demand throughout the day. Service was decent. Prices are a bit high except for the roast duck. It is not a bad choice for a relaxing meal.

The old Jade Tea Garden café is now a rice noodle place featuring the best of Cantonese deli delights such as roast pork and roast duck, as well as Hunan spicy noodles and other dishes. The roast duck and roast pork are hands down my favorites here, but I also enjoyed order dishes. I love that they're open late too. Interior is bright and welcoming. You can see the display of deli meats. I had my eye on one of the last ducks available, but missed out on the roast pork! This will definitely be a new regular place to go!

Half order of roasted duck and a 3-piece order of oysters. Amazingly delish!

My heart was broken when the old Joy Lucky Bistro closed down, where I used to be able to get cheap eats that included all the Cantonese barbecue items. I saw that this place was open and it was under Jade Tea but I couldn't find any reviews on it because I just found out that it used to be Jade Tea, and the sign is still up but now it's Changsha Rice Noodles. I was craving duck today and so I went by myself and ordered the half roasted duck and the oysters. OMG, the duck was PERFECT! The skin was perfectly crisped, the meat was tender and juicy, and they put enough duck juice on the plate for the duck pieces to sit on (I hate when the restaurant so skimpy on the juice!). The oysters were delicious! Can't go wrong with garlic over oyster! I ordered the three-piece and wished I had ordered a six piece instead! I live only five minutes from the restaurant and will definitely come back over and over again! So happy to have this restaurant here!

Solid spot in Cupertino if you're looking for Cantonese style roasted duck. We ordered their duck, rice, and stir fried beef noodles, coming out to $38 before tip. The restaurant is connected to jade tea garden. The food was great and authentic in flavor, with decent service. Menu is in English which also made that easy. Recommend!

3.5 stars rounded up to 4 Came here for dinner on a weekend. Decor is cute but I noticed that the service is not consistent. No one offered us any toddler friendly utensils. But the waitress then later gave toddler friendly utensils to another family. Order via QR code. A lot of the items were sold out which was a huge bummer. We ordered two noodles - soup and stir fry. They were both really good, hearty, and decent quantity. Unfortuately, the green beans were spicy although not listed on the menu. The clams were also soaked in this red sauce that really upset my stomach.

Be aware!!! The signage outside says "Jade Tea Garden" for this restaurant. Just a heads up since I had a hard time finding "Changsha" outside the store front. Overall, I'd give it more of a 4.5 stars. This is a really casual restaurant with friendly staff and lots of seating! Casual Southern Chinese food. I'd recommend their Chicken Skin Skewers, Braised Beef Noodle Soup, Guanzhou Roast Duck, and Liangpi. (The cold noodles with chili oil and cucumbers)

First off, this place has one of the better roast duck. And it's only $15.99 as promotion. The rice noodle was legit. I have the beef tropes one and it was good. The tendon was tender, tripes were good as well. I will come back to try the beef stew noodle soup. It looks good too but haven't tasted it yet.

(Jade Tea Garden) The food and service were great! There are two sides to this restaurant. The main entrance is behind Ranch 99, and around the right corner is the other side that is a more relaxed and casual atmosphere. The quality of food and flavor is outstanding, from the region of Changsha. The drinks selection is limited, they don't offer hot tea so we went with water. We ordered the Beef Soup and Chicken Skewers (which were next level delicious). Service was attentive!

Braised beef rice noodle. Not very spicy, beef was soft and tasty, rice noodle was very smooth.

This restaurant used to be 「醉香小舘」, now「長沙米粉」。I read some good review and decided to give it a try today. We ordered Braised Beef Rice Noodle and half a roasted duck. The duck was SO juicy, skin was very crispy. The beef rice noodle which has one 'chili' sign but was only mildly spicy and left a tingling sensation on the lips due to the spicy peppercorn oil. The rice noodle was very smooth. The restaurant was remodeled and now it is very spacey. Service was timely and attentive although we had to order using QR code. I am glad we rediscovered this place and will visit again for sure.

Sooo good. Almost every dish I had here hit. As their name says, they are known for their rice noodles, and I can definitely see why. So slippery and chewy in texture; perfect vesicle for picking up their flavorful broths and: or dry options. Gotta get the spicy braised beef, mala beef (if you like spicier), and chicken zha jiang (umami flavor bomb). The toasted duck here is very juicy and flavorful as well (wouldn't recommend the sauce on the side that it comes with. Everything else was good, aside from the handmade layered pancake:/ The place is very brightly lit and seems to be connected by hallway with. another Chinese restaurant. Everything was clean and the people were so nice and accommodating too!

Met up with some old coworkers in Sunnyvale at this pretty authentic hunan restaurant. There are 2 in this plaza, this location is next to to fantasia tea or it says fantasia around it. For a Sunday evening parking was pretty busy but there's a parking garage right across from it. We got a table for 5. We ordered 2 bowls of their beef and rice noddle soup (so good), beef and lamb skewers (I loved the seasoning, quite spicy), roasted duck (very crispy), and dumplings. We still had leftovers for 5 people and it was very affordable like less than $30 a person. I would def come back and even order out skewers. Service was quick and efficient. We ordered via QR code on the phone.

Had a great experience prior to this with a friend so I wanted to bring my mom to try. My experience from the service however was a little uncomfortable. When I went with my mom there was no customers. The server seated us at the bench closest to the wall (the table was pushed into the bench against the wall so we had to move it.) Apparently a lot of the legs on some of the tables and benches are wobbly so they put things under to balance it. The servers told us to move it back under the table since we pushed the table out to sit into the bench. My mom is older and she has a hard time walking, she asked to switch to another table where the benches and tables were already spaced out properly because it is hard for her to bend down and move the things under the table legs. The server gave my mom an attitude and asked why two people couldn't fit into our current table.

They also changed their menu slightly and they are definitely competing with Duan Chun Zhen across the street. They both offer beef noodle soup so I'll mostly commenting on the difference. Liang definitely gives you more beef (meat, tendon, tripe) but it's also about 50% more expensive. They also added Chinese sauerkraut which makes the soup base very different. I personally prefer the 13 spices used in Duan. The noodles are also different. The texture of Duan is more consistent but Liang feels more handmade. Overall I'd prefer Duan over Liang but Liang has more choices such as beef pancake. In other words if you just want noodles Duan is a better choice but if you want more types of food this is an ok choice. There are also more choices for tea here.
