    birria tacos and consome

All the tacos were really tasty, and not to mention the Wednesday $1.50 tacos are a STEAL. Would recommend getting takeout and ordering like 10 of their delicious tacos. My favorite taco was the steak taco, it was super good. All of the other tacos were also really good but the steak taco stands out to me. I really gotta try their other tacos as well. The chips were somewhat stale and had not been made recently or even heated up, not too much of a complaint though. For a table with your people we initially got a small order of those chips and a tiny bowl of salsa, that was something to note. Their queso isn't bad but it got super "solidified" really quickly. Service was really slow, I mean really slow. The restaurant was filled with customers so I wasn't surprised. I think they had maybe 2 servers handle 10+ tables so props to them. Honestly would just recommend getting takeout. Service was never bad though! It was just slow. With all things considered if you happen to be craving tacos, just order some takeout from here and you won't be disappointed!

We went to this place during lunch hours on a Monday. It was recommended to us by a local and it's apparently family owned and operated. Located in a strip mall we almost missed it. We were greeted by a lovely lady working outside that could be Salma Hayek's younger sister before we even entered the restaurant. A brief flashback of "Fools Rush In" ensued, and we went inside. Upon entering we saw the plain and clean dining area. Several patrons were Mexican, so the food is probably authentic. We asked for a table for five and were quickly accommodated in a small separate room adjacent to the main room. Before we knew it we were given complimentary nachos and delicious salsa and sauces. Mmmmh! Soft drinks were a can, a cup of ice and a straw. For $3. No complaints! There is a wide variety of Mexican dishes, although some meat choices are unusual to see on a menu, like tongue or even guts! But authentic means authentic, so watch out what you order! I ordered the burrito ahogado with steak, and it was some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! It was filled with a generous amount of steak and other fillings, and the sauce was incredible! I told the waitress that "el burrito estuvo maravilloso!", eliciting a Spanish response. I left the place with a big smile, a happy stomach and without a dent in my wallet. Service was quick, food was delish, staff was friendly, what more do you want?

Have eaten here a couple of times for lunch. While the food at the restaurant is good, I prefer the quick dash of lunch from their food truck.

Loved it! The decor is so bright and cute and the food is delicious. It's definitely the best Mexican place in the area. The side sauces are so tasty and the rice is nicely made. I usually am not a fan of beans but these were really well done and I enjoyed them. The people were nice as well. I would suggest this place to anyone!

Best Mexican food in the county. Delightful staff. Best tacos we've had. The wet burrito is another fave.

Best enchiladas in town, just like back home. No one does it better than them. Great service as always.

But then mine eyes doth glanceth upon the words "Brisket Birria Sandwich" on the menu, and I had to pivot. I'm so glad that I went with my heart. The Brisket Birria Sandwich at Ripple & Company consists of smoked brisket, white cheddar, red onions and cilantro, all melted and pressed between a roll, and served with birria consomme. You dip the sandwich in the consomme and eat, kind of like a French dip. Dip and eat, dip and eat, until you can't dip and eat anymore, either because it's all gone or because your stomach is about to burst. It's a big sandwich, and it is also served with incredibly delicious fries, which doesn't help with the stomach bursting thing. This whole meal is amazing and I would visit Ripple & Company just to eat this exact thing again. I visited with people who ate at Ripple & Company quite frequently, and they got their favorites: The Black & Gold Pub Burger, and the Cajun Shrimp Tacos, with a side of roasted Brussels sprouts. Everyone enjoyed everything. As a nice surprise, one of my dining mates ordered the Smokehouse Nachos for us to share, as if we didn't have enough food. But there's a different chamber in my stomach for chips and nachos, and luckily, that chamber was empty, so it worked out just fine. The nachos are great, with tender pieces of shredded pork, pickled jalapenos, a vegetable mix, green onions and chipotle ranch drizzled on top. The service here is great: We were seated right away, ordered right way, and our food came out within a good amount of time. The decor is car and transportation themed, with traffic signs and hubcaps hung up on the walls. Very fun.

The spoon bread was not good. AND, not that I'm counting this against them, but how are you gonna sell me spoon bread and not give me a spoon? Lol. Shrimp tacos were also meh. Very bitter. Shrimp was a good size, but lacking something in the flavor department. The fries were good though. My friend complained about her burger being good, but excessively greasy. Sure enough, I saw a pool of grease on her plate that was dripping out of her burger. I wish I had taken a picture
