I keep telling myself to do better when it comes to getting my battery checked. Yeap, I pulled the car into the garage, turned it off, and realized I needed to back in to unload.... Went to start it up.... DEAD. Batteries at home weren't strong enough to jump it so I came in with my Dead battery and was able to quickly do an exchange. It's Arizona, and batteries die. Just glad this Autozone is near the house and the process of exchange is always easy!!! I do wish they had some type of covering/awning in front of the store to help protect when you have to change your battery out at the store. I learned that given all the plastic coverings in one of our cars, they don't replace (but will give you the tools). Protection would be good for both the employees and customers. read more

Came in with a busted radiator hose that was spewing coolant everywhere and so I quickly pulled into this location. Was attended by Michael and he went out of his way to help me fix the hose and get my truck up and running. Very excellent customer service! I bought my car battery from this Auto Zone. Today my car wouldn't start. After getting a "jump", I immediately headed to this location for a battery replacement. The first associate didn't know where to find the battery and asked me where it was, it's a Chevy vehicle, any tech should know this. He went and got the team lead, this fela went on to tell me that no one at this location is authorized to replace batteries on vehicles with electronics. What the heck!? I called another Auto Zone in Tempe and they helped me with ZERO problems. Don't use this location!!! read more

The manager, Michael, is fantastic. He has helped me a lot over the years. I go to this AutoZone all the time. Today, I bought a can of "Superior" and some air fresheners. The tire shine is named "Superior." When I got home, I started to shine my tires and only did three tires because when you push the button on top, it leaks, and when I got to my fourth tire (which I did not do), I was down to 3/4 of a can. That is way too much. I buy this tire shine all the time when I can afford it. I returned to AutoZone within twenty minutes, and a gentleman named Caleb talked to me. I explained what was happening with the can, and he called another guy over, shook it, said it did not look like anything was wrong and mentioned the amount that was gone. That is why I brought it back, the amount it took, and how it kept leaking when pushing the button. It looked like it got banged up because of a dent on its side. Then they called the manager, Michael, over, and I told him what happened, and he said, "Okay, grab another one and have a nice day." The replacement does the same thing as the other can, but less severely. Why would I lie about a can of tire shine when I often come in for my parts because of the fantastic service I receive from the manager, Michael? I give Michael 5 stars *****. Had the most pleasant time at this AutoZone. I had gone to another one yesterday, along with a Chevrolet dealership/service center to get my battery checked. The dealership couldn't help me for 2.5 hrs (was not going to wait) and the other AutoZone was a little short with me, and I needed to speak with my dad before buying anything. I rebuilt my daughters front end about year ago . Struts,fender rotors, breaks and all worn out engine protection plastic. My daughter never drives and when I say never no exaggeration. The driver breaks sounded funny the other day when I drove it. Have lifetime warranty on breaks and I said only one side needs repairs and would give bad side and leave new pair in box. The manager was Rude if it was not for an employee by name of Lenny I would have never consider buying from Auto Zone again. Cost me $40.00 because manager has absolutely 0 customer service experience nor does she give a hoot. I have spent allot of money with auto zone. This location is supportive and informative. The day before i was at the camelback location and was told there was nothing wrong with my battery..the next day my car is dead and I receive a jump to make it to the McClintock and Ellliot location where Charles helped to identify the battery issue and helped me to change out the battery and reassured me that everything was going to be okay. Walked in Wednesday morning to purchase front and rear break pads. It was 7:00 am in the morning I was the second customer. I had walked up to the counter with break cleaner in my hand and waiting a few min for this gentleman that was on the computer to acknowledge me. He finally said "you all set" and I replied actually not yet I need to buy some break pads. He turned around shook his head made a sigh noise and shrugged his shoulders. As soon as he did that I told him you know what, never mind I'll go across the street to oriely and spend my money over there. Put my break cleaner on the counter and walked out. He never said a word after that. This hasn't been the first issue either. Always poor attitudes. Over at oriely I was greated as I walked in and they were happy to sell me break pads. Auto zone should restructure the employment process for sure. I own a business, and how they choose to deal with situations is not ethical. Stay away from all auto zones!. read more

I went to autozone today since my Toyota Corolla had a plastic piece that was hanging out from the bottom of my car. My power steering was acting up, so I stopped in and asked the gentleman @ the front desk where I could find the power steering fluid. He asked to make sure I didn't have a honda, because apparently they use a special fluid. I bought the fluid walked outside and put it in, and poof no more power steering issues! Yay! Very simple fix, good customer service & I was in and out within 5min. read more

I went in to get a new cabin air filter at the suggestion of my mechanic. I didn't even no where to find the air filter until the mechanic showed me how easy it was to access. This was my first time entering an auto parts store to fix something myself, even something as easy as a cabin air filter. The AutoZone rep looked up the type of air filter I needed, looked at my engine to determine the type, got the part, put it in the plastic insert, and checked me out. All judgement free.
