I mentioned average online prices for changing an injector is $900-$1200 and all she said was "that's mom and pop shops, not dealerships". Point taken. This dealership along with Ford Corporation together is shady! High Pressure Fuel Pump went out in my truck, which is a huge issue with Ford Trucks. After driving 300 miles to Las Vegas for a short vacation, the dealer tells me that the High Pressure Fuel Pump won't be covered because they found gas in my Diesel fuel system. There is no way you can drive a Diesel on gas.....especially 300 miles. Ford has a big problem with there trucks. I have owned 5 F series Trucks. I will never buy a Ford product ever again. Purchase experience was not bad. However, Ford Country does not offer any loaner for recalls. I expect the dealership to provide loaners when they are at fault for a safety recall. I purchased two vehicles a week apart and both vehicles need to be dropped off for the recall. There is no timeline on how long it will take, so I am pretty much stuck at the dealership. The service advisor, Jose, said they won't do anything about the wait, I will have to take it to Ford. As a customer, I purchased the car from Ford Country and not Ford Motor, so there is no point to deal with the manufacturer. This is the first time buying a Ford, and also the first time that I did not qualify for a loaner on a recall for any car brands. First time buying an American car to support manufacturing here. Spend all that money on a 2017 beautiful Ford fusion extended warranty through a third-party similar to Car Shield because the manufacturer warranty is expired - end up with a failing transmission and Ford doesn't accept third-party warranties. They won't fix my car for me even though it's far too young to even be needing a new transmission. I have to find someone else. Brought in my 2017 F350 platinum for warranty work on the sunroof. When I picked up the truck the service advisor tried telling me my coolant was contaminated and my EGR cooler was plugged. He offered a $1200 service to clean the EGR cooler that was not covered by warranty. (Emissions components have 7 yr 100k warranty btw) When I asked how they inspected my EGR cooler being that it was in a box in my garage at the house he didnt have an answer. A week later I discovered the tech that did the sunroof work burnt a hole in my floor carpet with his work lamp and covered it up with the floor mat. Obviously the dealership denied responsibility. Opened the sunroof about 4-6 times over the next 6 months before it broke again. When I called about this they said my truck was no longer under warranty. I just left it closed until the other day I decided to fix it myself by watching a youtube video. Found the clips on the headliner ripped out and old pieces of plastic from the original failure still lodged in the glass track. Now im out the same sunroof and a floor carpet and a headliner. What a waste of time and money. Should have just youtubed it in the first place instead of bringing my $100k truck to get worked on by a 23 year old slack jaw with a strawberry kiwi geek bar and a Harbor Freight screwdriver. With a spit in the face at the end from the service advisor snake oil salesman. Avoid the service dept here. read more

Ford itself put Sirius radio on all the entertainment centers for free as a promotion to try and get people to buy it, without permission from the owners.Needless to say it deleted the Maps and Music that was subscribed to. After a week my stuff never came back. Went to Country Ford and the wonderful young lady saw my frustration. This has been the worst experience ever. My husband a 24 year Army Veteran purchased a vehicle that he was later not able to ship to Germany where he works for the DOD and live. He was promised by the dealership that the 2025 Ford F-150 would be bought back, down payment returned and since we had already made our first payment it would be returned as well. We believe that they re-sold the truck (illegal) have not payed off Ford Credit, We have not received our 1st payment back. We have however received our down payment back. Extremely Disappointed and Misled I had a terrible experience with Ford Country Henderson. I traded in my truck to get about $15,000 in equity and agreed to purchase a new vehicle with a specific interest rate and monthly payment that we all signed off on. A week later, they called me saying they couldn't honor the deal and that to keep my monthly payment, they would have to reduce my trade-in value by $5,000. I told them that was unacceptable but I was open to choosing a different vehicle to meet the payment we originally agreed on. They asked for a few more days to "work on it," assuring me they could make it happen and that I'd have my equity check by a certain date. After waiting over two and a half weeks, they said the deal was finally finalized and that the check would be ready once the deal was funded. A few more days passed, and now they're saying they can't issue the check until they receive the title from my truck--which will take another 10 days. This entire process has been unprofessional and full of broken promises. I feel misled and taken advantage of. Communication was poor, deadlines were ignored, and the dealership kept changing their story. I've purchased several vehicles before and have never experienced anything like this. I own a 2015 Ford Mustang and I admit; this car gets treated like an automotive princess. Since I'm new to the Las Vegas/Henderson, NV area, I don't have a trustworthy auto mechanic to lean on for service and repairs. So when I discovered a minor engine oil leak, I decided to put my trust in the local Ford dealership, Ford Country in Henderson, NV. Unfortunately, my trust in Ford Country proved to be misplaced. I recommend anyone dealing with their service department to keep your scam-detecting radar on the high setting. This review is not a complaint about inflated dealership service pricing. We all know that's the state of affairs. Keep reading to see why it seems like the repair of a simple oil leak ended seeming like just another attempted scam on an elder American. I made an appointment and brought the car in (strictly) for diagnosis of the leak. The Service Writer, Sarah B. quoted me $200 for the diagnostic service. That seemed high but I didn't have viable alternatives. I discussed with Sarah the specific parameters needing to be present for the oil leak to take place; the car had to be facing downhill, shut-off, etc. I additionally noted that the oil leak, which was no more than 1-2 tablespoons of oil for a 24-hour period, definitely had a specific location within the engine area from which it was seemingly emanating. Although not an expert, I suggested a loose oil filter or perhaps a leaky gasket at the oil pressure sensor were potential causes of the oil leak. I handed over the car keys and with that, I left my beloved Mustang in Ford Country's hands. After a couple days, I received a call from Sarah B. She coolly told me the water pump was the cause of the oil leak and the installation of a new water pump would be $2,300. I was shocked; the cause made little sense and the price of the repair seemed comically exorbitant. I advised Sarah to not proceed with the repairs and I would pick-up my car. Oddly, she stated she would "need some time" to make my car available for pick-up. I complied, mostly because I was in shock regarding the estimated repair cost. So, in the meantime, I did some research...and some math: According to official Ford documents, a water pump removal and replacement for a 2015 Mustang should take 3-4 hours. Presuming a shop rate of between $120-150 per hour, the technician's time should cost absolutely no more than $600. (Even if the rate is a New York, Los Angeles or Bay Area $200 per hour, my total labor charge should not exceed $800.) Additionally, replacement water pumps for a 2015 Ford Mustang have a retail price of approximately $100. Throw in $300-400 of dealer mark-ups and miscellaneous parts at the job and its maximum charge should be absolutely no more than +/- $1,200. And here's where things got interesting! I went to dealership and paid my $199 diagnostic fee. And to say I was surprised would be an understatement: according to the invoice I was given, the technician's exact comments regarding his/her diagnosis were, "INSPECTED AND FOUND AFTER MARKET OIL FILTER TO BE LEAKING..." Wait, what?!?! The technician also noted the water pump showed "seepage" and recommended it be replaced. However, unquestionably, the oil leak I wanted diagnosed was being caused by a loose oil filter. Moreover, even if Sarah believed the water pump needed to be replaced to somehow fix an oil leak, how did she get to a $2,300 repair bill? It wasn't based on the actual cause of the oil leak, it wasn't based on the technician's diagnosis and it wasn't based on official Ford documents to estimate repair costs for water pump replacements. I can't help but feel I was marked as the "dumb old man," and targeted for unnecessary repair costs to line someone's pockets. I placed my trust in Ford Country and this was clearly a bad decision. I will not return to Ford Country, for service, parts or auto purchases and I recommend you avoid them, as well. Here's some info I collected along the way from Kelley Blue Book regarding the estimated cost of a water pump replacement: From https://www.kbb.com/ford/mustang/2015/water-pump-replacement/ : "Dealer" refers to service centers that specialize in one or two makes and sell those vehicles. He found the oil filter was still loose; apparently the courtesy of spinning the filter on snugly was beyond Ford Country personnel. And, of course, the water pump "seepage?" Totally non-existent. I have been in the market over the past few months for a new Ford F150 Raptor. Not a cheap truck. I have been to this dealership several times and have spoken to several sales reps. I do this on purpose in order to determine how experienced and professional their sales staff are before I decide to make a purchase from a dealership. Unfortunately everyone I spoke too was young and seemed inexperienced. I was a sales rep in the medical field for many years and was a distibutor for orthopedic surgical implants. In short, I was the CEO of my own company and I have a working knowledge of customer service and understand proper selling skills. Every rep I spoke too seemed to want to just be an order taker. Doesn't take much effort to sit in a dealship and just write up deals. How about being professional, up beat and work to earn a customer's business?? Proper customer service and proper selling skills is the key to success. I am a car guy in addition to having been in medical sales. My deal for the truck was going to be all cash and no trade. A very clean and simple deal. In addition, none of these sales reps took into consideration the thought of repeat business! Case in point, I purhcased 2 new BMW's from Auto Nation in less than a year! A BMW X4M and a BMW X5. All cash!! I also own a Porsche 911 Carrera S and a Jeep Rubicon X. Again all purchases were all cash! These inexperienced sales reps should never assume everyone that walks into their dealership is inexperienced in sales, customer service and does not have the financial means to purchase several vehicles! We dropped off our truck the night before a scheduled 7am appointment, but at 10:30am they called claiming it hadn't been dropped off at all -- when it clearly had. Then at 3:30pm, they called again saying they couldn't even start working on it until someone came down in person to sign paperwork. The dealership is a 30-minute drive from our house, so we wasted even more time just getting there to sign something that should have been handled first thing in the morning, not almost an entire workday later. When we pointed out how ridiculous this was, the service advisor outright refused to complete the service on the truck. Totally unprofessional and a huge waste of our time. Salesperson told me that the $4,500 used car warranty that was tacked on to my loan was required by the finance company. Spoke to the finance company the following day and was told they did not require any warranty like the salesperson said. I do not recommend this dealership for the purposes of purchasing a vehicle. UPDATE: I just wanted to let people know that I was qualified for an auto loan through Chase prior to making purchase. I was flying in from California so I emailed the salesman the paperwork from Chase so he could have everything ready when I got there. Long story short, the salesman told me that Chase did not approve me for the loan. Instead, my loan was through Santander. Chase payment was going to be a little over $400 a month. The payment I have through Santander is a little over $600 a month. I RECENTLY PURCHASED A CREDIT REPORT AND FOUND OUT THAT COUNTRY FORD NEVER TRIED TO RUN MY AUTO LOAN THROUGH CHASE!!! A recall on your vehicle can be frustrating and time consuming but at least it's a free repair to make sure your vehicle operates safely. I, recently, dropped off my Expedition at Ford Country for the recall on the rear-camera. Steven Arreola was my service writer. He explained to me the worst case scenario and best case scenario for the recall at issue. He kept me updated throughout the process and never left me hanging. Long story short, my Expedition was dropped off Thursday morning, Steven had to order replacement parts, and recall was completed on my Expedition and ready for pick up Friday afternoon. Wow!
