Wow! And not in a good way, I don't even know where to begin.. This happened last year, the day after Xmas as I was shopping for Kia EV6 GT. My original plan was to purchase a used one but if I can find a deal on a new one, why not right? I saw Kia was doing 0% APR and was hoping the deal is good for the EV6 GT. They also have 10k cash back incentive but doesn't seem to be able to combine both 0% and 10k off. (yeah I know wishful thinking) Now I've already did my homework and got another quote (out of state dealer) with the EXACT same vehicle (same color everything) so I'm comparing apples and apples here. The quote I got was at $894/mo for 72 months for a NEW 2025 Kia EV6 GT in matte blue (not my 1st color choice) The ONLY difference is Towbin decided to add almost $6,200 worth of dealer add-ons, stuff you don't really need or can get it cheaper $3,995 for Desert Protection Package - No thank you! I can get my own tint for a lot less $695 for Red Alert Braking, if you really want this, you can DIY with a $20 LED bulb.. $995 for Polysteel - Don't need $495 for GPS Locator - They're joking here right? The vehicle COMES with GPS tracking, it's called Kia Access. They also wanted $20 for SMOG fee.. yes for an Electric Vehicle! On the day of my appointment, Jesus is the guy I'm booked with. He is actually the saving grace in this review. He seems fairly new to the biz, and was already waiting for me by the vehicle. Jesus is very friendly, chill and cool (unlike 99% of the sales folks) He also knows a lot about the vehicle (or he memorized the brochure) Either way, he did his homework and it shows. We took a quick test drive together and yes I can see myself driving this on a daily. Here's the part that went sour, he called backup (yes your traditional sales guy with the phony smile pretending to be your best friend) To make this short, we went back and forth a few times, I believe the initial offer was over $1200/mo for 72months!! Like really? I wasn't having it and already told them what I'm willing to consider ($900/mo for 72 months) He comes back telling me "Am I ready to hit the bong?" He made it sound like he came down to $900/mo then I looked and it was $950/mo.. then he made this comment that really ticked me off.. something about "ONLY extra $50/mo" Yes if it's truly 50 bucks I'm all for it, but x 72 that's $3,600!! Yup that's when I started to walk away, the guy actually chased me down even as I was backing up. I received numerous text and calls later asking me to come back they are willing to deal. Unfortunately, that positive impression disappeared the moment an issue came up. Only 13 days after purchase, the check engine light came on. The diagnosis was a faulty PCV valve, something that absolutely does not fail overnight. Even though the vehicle was sold "as-is," selling a car that develops a major engine issue within two weeks shows a serious lack of proper inspection or transparency. I contacted the dealership immediately on November 26. I left a message for Ricky or the used car manager. No response. I called back two hours later and was told they were "busy." I gave them the benefit of the doubt due to the holiday, but Friday passed with no call, and Monday passed with still no manager available. I had to keep calling them -- not the other way around. When I finally spoke with Nick, the best he could offer was "maybe" assisting with a portion of the repair -- despite the issue showing up almost immediately after the sale. He transferred me to Service but dropped off the call, leaving me to repeat everything again. Service couldn't even give me a ballpark estimate unless I physically drove the car to Henderson -- despite me explaining that I live across town in the northwest and don't feel safe driving a vehicle with an active check-engine light that far. I asked to speak with Nick again to find another solution but was on hold for a while till I decided to call again with no luck other than having to leave a message again. The contrast is obvious: When you're buying a car, the service is exceptional. When you have a problem right after purchase, the support completely disappears. I even purchased an extended warranty directly from Audi, but it doesn't activate until after December 18 -- so I'm stuck with a problem Towbin Kia clearly doesn't care to address. I had a very concerning experience with this dealership and feel obligated to share it for others' safety. We purchased a vehicle "as-is," and just after 30 days, the engine suffered a catastrophic failure. The motor mounts broke, causing the engine to shift and fluids to leak all over my driveway, this happened while my children were inside the car. This was not just inconvenient, it was dangerous. The dealership provided an inspection report at the time of sale stating the vehicle had passed. Based on the severity of this failure, it raises serious concerns about how thorough, or accurate that inspection actually was. Issues of this magnitude do not typically occur without warning signs and should have been identified beforehand. Trying to get help has been equally frustrating. We were transferred between multiple employees before finally reaching someone, only to be told that because more than thirty days had passed, they would not assist in any way because the vehicle is "as is". Given the seriousness of the issue, that response felt dismissive and concerning. We towed the vehicle to Kia and have been attempting to contact the dealership since, but no one has returned our calls or provided guidance. We are now left without a vehicle before even making our first payment. This experience has left us feeling misled and questioning whether the vehicle had pre-existing issues that were not properly disclosed. I strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing from here to do an independent inspection and proceed with caution, especially when it comes to safety-related components. Oh. My. GAWD! I have an update that's been six years in the making. I decided to trade in the Kia Soul I purchased brand-new from Towbin Kia in 2018...and the title came up DIRTY! The mileage was incorrect on the DMV paperwork when it was registered to me, but who, you ask, filled out that paperwork? Someone at Towbin Kia. Now there's no way to correct it, and it must be disclosed to any other potential buyer. For the life of the vehicle. So I ended up having to trade it in because I am uncomfortable with trying to find someone to buy a car with a dirty title. Just to put things into perspective, the Kelley Blue Book trade-in value for a 2019 Kia Soul with only 36,000 miles on it is almost $9,000, but I had to take $5,900 for mine, and it's definitely better than the "fair" condition I put in for the KBB estimate for the sake of this review. This review is long overdue but anyway, here it goes. My husband and I have a plethora of kids so we were looking for a used 3rd row suv. The only pro was our salesman, I forgot his name but he was very nice. Anyway, after hours of haggling, ROBERTO, the sales manager came to us trying to get us to sign off on a 2019 Kia Sorento for $953 a month with TWO thousand down. Granted, our credit isn't great but it isn't shot to hell either. My mind was made up, a HARD NO but my husband was entertaining it. I told him that is ridiculous. I told Roberto that was insane and out of our budget. He said "let me see what I can do." He came back and said "congratulations, you can hit the gong. You were approved for $933 a month." Wow. A whopping 20 dollar difference. I said "no, I want the note to be 400 or under a month." He basically laughed in my face and said "it's not 2015. You won't find a third row suv for that price." I politely went outside and waited for my husband. Guess what? The next day, we went to another dealership and I got a 2019 THIRD ROW SUV for $357 a month. Update: I tried to give toe in another chance. I took my car in for a warranty repair leaking head gasket. Then I noticed I was burning a lot of oil. I took it back paid for an oil change and told them about the oil loss. They told me the car is old and is having blow by. Fast forward a month later. My car breaks down I have it towed to the nearest shop. The mechanic inspected it and said I need to replace the valve cover gasket cause who ever replaced the valve cover gasket didn't replace the spark plug gasket which comes in the kit. So that leak caused my coils and spark plugs to get flooded with oil. I tried to call and the manager won't call me back. BUYER BEWARE don't buy an extend warranty from them. Don't have them service your car. They do shit work and the customer service sucks. I will post my receipts shortly so the world can see the dates, the notes and what towbins failed warranty repair ended up costing me. Some may ask if I tried to call them when the car broke down. I did. They told me I would have to have the car towed on my own dime and would have to pay for what ever repairs needed to be made cause now the car was out of warranty. We stumbled upon this lot as we've been looking at multiple dealerships for a new car. Something felt different about Towbin Kia. The first guy who greeted us was polite, friendly, and helpful. Wish we got his name but he was fun to talk to! (I found out from the website that his name is Tranel!) He helped us the same day, with no appointment, and introduced us to Sina, our sales guy, who took us to the cars we wanted to look at. Sina was very knowledgeable, personable, and knew his stuff. He gave us time to look at the cars and test drive them (because we truly only wanted to see them and think of our options which we've been visiting other dealerships too) and he was one of the best people we've stumbled upon yet. You can tell he cares and isn't pushy at all. The dealer only had a few options for us but when it all came down to color somehow Sina pulled out all the stops and found the one we felt was made for us. I'm convinced these people don't really want to sell cars, either that or they're intimidated by people who come in here fully aware of all the shady fees they're going to try to sneak into your vehicle purchase. In all my experiences with car dealerships, this place has to be one of the absolute worst in communication and misrepresentation. Let's assume you've found a car you like. You let them run your credit. Your salesperson goes up to the magic desk with some guy who is too cool to deal with you, so your salesperson morphs into a messenger. They return with the itemized breakdown sheet showing various down payment options and payment plans. Whatever you do, do not accept this deal, this initial offering is in their favor. Start looking at the addons that are stuck onto this sheet: The $500 "GPS Tracking" fee that is stuck onto your new car, have them remove the fee, or walk. The ability to track your car, remote start, etc via this device requires a separate paid subscription - and you may not be told this. You're paying for a device that requires a yearly payment to use that you might not even want. The "Desert Package" they will throw on for 4k? It's a sham. Have them remove it or walk. Another $1,000 for "Polysteel". Google it. It's a total rip-off. Have them remove it or walk. "Red Alert", $700 addon. Again, Google it, it is a blinking rear tail light. Remove or walk. Watch out for them to sneak in the extended service contracts and GAP. That car that you thought was $25k is suddenly closer to $37k. If they don't negotiate, LEAVE and go to a different dealership. If you let them dictate the terms, you're going to get taken for a ride. *edit* Along with the public response from Alicia I did receive a private message as well which at least shows they're trying to improve. I have already purchased elsewhere but these addon shenanigans is not a big secret and not exclusive to this dealership. Do not succumb to the "what can we do to earn your business today?" line, if they ask this question, simply ask for 50% off otherwise you'll come back after you think it over. The longer it takes you to buy, the more time you have to do more research and make a SOUND decision, ** they don't want this **. At this point you haggle, get on the internet and search out each and every item they're sticking a price on that's increasing the vehicle price. Search every other Kia dealership's website not only in Vegas but in Arizona, Utah and California. Make them earn your business and be willing to go elsewhere if they won't. read more

DO NOT go here. These guys are shady and upper management hides behind the walls. They can't even step up to deal with customers. I purchased my car in 2023. Brand new. The paint was chipping under the tail light. Fought for over a year to finally get them to cover it. They make promises to get you to make a deal. Once that is done you mean nothing to them. They kept my car for three days. Little do they know. I can see when my car is unlocked started or moved. Well they should know working at a dealership. The third day I called to check on my car. Soon as he said he will check on it and call me back my vehicle moved. 3 miles to the body shop. For 30 mins. Called me and said it was ready. Showed up to pick up my car and looked like someone used white out on my pearl paint. Of course promised it will be fixed. Mr T the main man. Can't even handle returning a phone call. Caught them straight in a lie by my app. I will spread the word to every social media. They are nothing but fraud and liars. My 40,000 dollar car was touched up with what looked like white out on a pearl car. Only to cause more damage to my pearl paint. Have called many times to speak to someone. They lie and say the GM is on Vacation. MR T whoever he is hides and can't be a manager and handle customer service. Looking into hiring an attorney next if my car isn't fixed the correct way. Time and stress and damage to my vehicle. Please make this a warning to all who want to buy a new car from Towbin. Don't do it. You have been warned. Run as far as you can from this dealership. I was in Vegas visiting. I live in Reno. I have spent 2 years trying to get my 2018 Kia Soul's transmission fixed. Dolan Kia said they couldn't do anything until a trouble light came on. What bull! My car continued to have transmission issues. After checking the 3Kia dealers here, I decided to give Towbin Kia a chance. I met Ed Rocawich, Master Elite Service Consultant and told him my issues. We set a next day appointment. Later that appointment day, Ed called. The transmission needed to be replaced. He told me that he already called the extended warranty company and that my bill would be, my $50 deductible. I picked up the car today and my bill was $50. Ed is a great service asset for Towbin. I am glad I met him. My car runs great! Thanks for your knowledge Ed! read more

As of April 9, 2025 I am pleased to announce that my treatment by the customer service department and upper management has been outstanding in the resolution, e.g. putting me in a new car that I am very please with. Certainly, it is vital that we consumers recognize a few things: (a) there are times when communications to management may become ambiguous as messages from a frustrated customer are conveyed up the line, (b) management may simply learn from a unique experience, and/or (c) intraoffice communications may result in capture of fodder for evaluation of facts and information not previously considered. I would like to believe that all of these metrics were in play in my particular case. Accordingly, out of consideration for the way I have been treated at this juncture, as well as my anticipation that treatment from here for me (and likely to others) will continue to be outstanding, I am changing my rating to 5 stars. Additional comment: the service department consists of persons who impressed me beyond my expectations -- especially during the months of my frustration when Ed and others were clearly working to resolve issues with Kia, the manufacturer. Final comment: After having dealt closely now with three different sales representative (two during an initial sale and one during the more recent sale) I suggest that those sales persons learn the value of recognizing and saying hello, albeit briefly, to prior customers. It is fascinating to be totally ignored by someone with whom you have spent a couple of hours only a day or so before. Nonetheless, these individuals knew their stuff and were polite and shared my excitement during the presentation and buying experience. Sorry to all readers for the missives (long messages). Today I purchased a 2016 Challenger R/T from Lily and Notiqua and I have to say, after decades of buying and selling about 80 cars in my life and probably a third of them from dealerships, this was by far, the best experience of them all. These ladies were on point and very communicative at every step of the way. To the owners of Towbin, whatever you are paying these ladies, it is not enough. They stepped up and stayed the course and as a frequent car buyer, that is rather refreshing. (Findlay and Autonation, are you taking notes here?) As for your finance guy trying to do the upsells? Someone should let him know that "No" means "NO". Asking four times, expecting a different result only frustrates the typical consumer. I get it, upselling is his job, but after the second "NO", a good salesman gets the message. Anyway, to end on a good note, thank you again, ladies. DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! Especially not a used one!!!! THEIR WARRANTIES DO NOT COVER ANYTHING!!!! I have a 2020 Kia optima, bought as a certified used car from this dealership. I went in here pregnant with a baby, looking for a RELIABLE car, due to me having a Hyundai (surprise they have the same engines now) and it breaking down due to engine failure. They sold me a piece of shit. 6m into me owning it the battery completely goes. Has to be replaced. Now I'm having issues with my engine, and have been since 54000 miles. The car was bought with 23000 miles on it, and only has 73000 on it currently. My car STOPPED ON THE HIGHWAY!!!! With my kids in the car, died. Check engine light came on. No oil in my car. Mind you I got an oil change a couple months ago and still needed about 2000 miles for another one. That was in 2024... They tell me bring it in, I do they just said it needs an oil change, and that's the response I got every time I brang that car in for an engine issue. It just needs oil. 2025 they do an oil test it comes back my car is burning 2 QTs oil per 1000 miles. Way more than it's supposed to. They talked to me about what my options were basically they do an engine tear down, and determine what is causing this issue. Awesome but it's 4000 dollars just for that and if the insurance deems it not a manufactured error and a driver error than you pay for all repairs including the tear down... they gave me 3 options, 1. Buy a new engine 2. Buy a used engine, or 3 put oil in my car every time I get gas. That's their solution, all on me to pay. They told me from the start they think it's the piston rings and they aren't covered under warranty. How is such a major part not covered? Because it's the main issue they have and they want to get out of replacing them. A 5 year old cars piston rings are worn and the cylinder wall is scorched... every oil change, recall and maintenance issue was done as THIS DEALERSHIP. Except 2 brake changes and 1 oil change that they ended up doing an oil change 3 weeks later to test the levels of my oil. So now they claim I'm at fault and these are driver error issues. Now I'm the one who has to do all the running around, calling Kia, calling Kia customer service, calling the insurance people. They say they'll get back to you and someone will call you like a manager, they never do. I have an extended warranty as well don't bother getting that it doesn't cover shit anyway!!! And you will have to do all the running around, and also will have to rent your own car, and pay for it, while still paying for a car that is currently in the shop, and has been for 30 days now, so you don't get a repo on your name. Don't waste your time. The biggest regret of my life is walking into that dealership. read more
