I discovered this place shortly after I moved here and it's a great place to dance the night away. The decor is a throwback to disco with the lighted floors, lights and smoke everywhere. They have a drum set and dancing pole just in case you feel like showing off your talents. I'm happy to see that it's still going. Service is always friendly and fast make sure you have cash. While I was only there for about an hour, I felt like it was the most comfortable, neighborhood bar with a laid-back atmosphere (with excellent service from the bartender - wish I could remember his name) and everyone was so welcoming. I sat in a chair that rocks that's like a foot off the ground working on a small folding table that was hanging from the wall. With that being said, it's a neat boutique hotel. They have a public "ironing room" where you can iron with friends, or pick up some toiletries for your room. There's a bar in the lobby as well as arcade games and lots of seating. They're going for a fun, community vibe... it was just missing people I guess. The pillows were garbage and that's so common at hotels these days. I stay in a lot of hotels and waking up with a sore neck isn't the best. It either means crappy pillows or a fun night! In this case, it was the pillows. There are a number of places nearby and I had some killer chicken wings at the Coop something or other and great coffee as well. The area in which this hotel located isn't the best, but there was a police presence as I walked around myself on a Sunday night. The staff was friendly, I felt safe inside, and it was easy for rideshare to pickup and drop-off. Just due to the workspace issues alone, I probably wouldn't stay here again.
