Always a good meal. Parmesan Crusted Chicken is my go to but had the sirloin last night. If you want a good steak this is a good go to spot.

My problem with Charleston's is they are 100% NOT vegetarian friendly. Not only are all their main courses meat they also have a meat base in all of their salads and they put meat in almost every appetizer including those that don't normally contain meat (such as queso). I'm giving them 2 stars because the food I did have was great (Walt's Champagne Chicken Salad without chicken and a side of glazed carrots) however since there was no vegetarian options I was forced to pay a premium for the meat that I didn't want or get. Their menu almost seems like it's trying to alienate those with special diets. read more

We have been visiting this location of Charleston's for years but have started preferring local over chain restaurants. So I was a little skeptical on this last visit but ended up really enjoying my food and time here! We received attentive and pleasant service throughout our dinner with no lack of water refills. I opted for the kale salad and substituted smoked salmon for the chicken - excellent - and may now be one of my favorite salads in town! We ate here about an hour before they closed after getting to Tulsa late on a Saturday evening. The food was excellent, especially the smoked salmon. DS was happy with his prime and my hubby approved of his chicken fried steak. The queso was the only fail - way too runny and served lukewarm. The server was nice, but kept disappearing. Not sure if she had end of the shift "I'm done working" attitude or what her deal was. We stayed and ordered dessert just to make her stay longer. Charleston's is one of our go to favorites. There is something for everyone. But last night I tried the Shrimp Scampi. It had so much onion it was inedible. When I think Shrimp Scampi, I think butter, garlic, parsley not tons of onion. Please rethink the recipe or diner beware. read more

It was a dark and stormy afternoon, and I was on my way to meet my sick mother at the hospital when I had the bad luck of getting a flat tire. Thankfully, I got the flat right next to Charleston's, so I figured that my mother could wait because I needed a sandwich. After being seated, I was greeted by the most enchanting woman I had ever seen, her beauty cannot be put into words, I started weeping with joy because of her sheer radiance. Not only was she beautiful, but it was almost as if she could read my thoughts because all of her recommendations were on point. The shrimp cargot was incredible and the Reuben was immaculate, the fries were crisp and on point. If only my family had not been trying to ruin my experience by asking why I wasn't at the hospital. can you REALLY go wrong with Charleston's? the answer is no. I am a big fan of pretty much everything here - their baked potato soup (seriously the best soup I'll ever eat in my lifetime), chips with salsa & queso, chicken club sandwich with avocado & bacon, chicken fingers.. it's all tasty. don't go here if: -you care about a unique environment. Charleston's is a chain (and one of the best, at that) that's about the only thing I can think of that could be a negative. their banquet room is great for larger events and their curbside to go is great! read more

We're in town from Kansas City for a soccer tournament and wanted to try out the steaks in Tulsa. The staff was excellent, the store was very clean, and the food was fantastic. The food was hot and prepared perfect. Even after dinner the smell of the food, while walking through the parking lot, made me want to go back in for another round. read more

It's really hard to go wrong with this place. They have a good sized menu but not too big so that they are not inconsistent. I came here for a work lunch and ordered the Chicken Avocado Club. It is a knockout sandwich. Super good flavors!!! It came with fries and their fries are tasty too. The atmosphere is nice inside and the servers and host staff are super friendly. Prices are as expected and for the quality of the food; it is hard to beat. read more

Very good! Rolls are amazing, ribs were fall off the bone, catfish was perfect! The table was wobbly when we sat down which drives me absolutely nuts, BUT the server moved us to a new table right away. In short, it was very good, will definitely go back. read more

For a restaurant chain, this one on Peoria is the best. We had a small group that went there Saturday afternoon for lunch. Quickly seated and outstanding service throughout the whole dinner. The crescent roll that comes with the salad is delicious. I got the shrimp scampi that was excellent. The rest of my party ordered some sort of steak and the servers ensured the steaks were cooked as desired before leaving. I can't remember the waiter that served us but the check had "Eddie G" at the top. If that is our waiter then I highly recommend him. First class service at a casual dining establishment. I'll definitely be going back here for happy hour with friends. read more

This is the kind of place you can always count on when nothing but delicious will do. I have probably tried everything they have on their menu. My only problem when I go here is trying to decide what to order. The reviewer before me was serious about the chicken fried steak, but he forgot to mention that it comes with chipotle gravy. Not super spicy but enough to add an extra umph of flavor. Another favorite is the soup of the day on Thursday...tortilla soup...yum. I always get excited to have lunch or dinner here. read more

I give a 5 because it is one of my most favorite restaurants, all three of them in Tulsa are great. Last night I ordered their cheeseburger and I have ordered it on numerous occasions. I'm going to stop ordering it in the future because it's not juicy. I ordered it cooked medium but was still very dry and has no seasoning at all. We've eaten at this place over 10 times and never had a bad experience. My favorite part about this location is their to-go pickup. They have a special entrance in the back that has cameras so the servers can bring your food right to your car. Love that curb side special treatment. Talk about enabling me to be lazy, especially on cold days when I am too lazy to even walk from my car to the restaurant. I pretty much get the same thing every time-- Chicken Club Salad-- it's like the mac daddy of salads. It lasts me two meals and comes with one of their signature honey butter croissants. Amazeballs. It also has tons of avocado and fried chicken strips. They also have delicious fried okra. The other day I decided to venture out and have the pecan crusted chicken with garlic mashed potatoes- that was as amazing as the salad. I want to eat it again right now, just thinking about it! Place was great right from the start! Promptly greeted at the door and shown to a table. Waitress was knowledgable of everything on the menu and had excellent recommendations. The restaurant was very clean, including the bathrooms. The food was wonderful! The slow roasted prime rib was the best I've had in years. Doubt they could have done better, it was so damn good! I wrote a review for this on the Yale location. I've been going to both restaurants for many years. They are always consistent. My favorite is the short stack salmon with cucumber relish. Queso is not very good or warm. Chicken salad was fresh, but the breaded chicken was bad. Mac and cheese for the little one was pretty bland (even for her). Hickory burger was pretty tasty, but the rest was a bad experience. Won't return. read more

I ordered the Reuben sandwich it was grilled with Swiss cheese sauerkraut corn beef and they forgot to put the thousand Island dressing in it, so I was brought a side of thousand Island put it in myself a sandwich was good french fries were hot and crispy I didn't like the pickle round that was sliced on top of the Ruben ,it made The grilled bread soggy. My friend ordered the crispy chicken sandwich which had chicken, greens,tomato,Swiss cheese and mayonnaise and she ordered the french fries.they she it was very good, The french fries for piping hot that was great first time in a long time that I've had really hot french fries right out the fryer good job. The presentations of both sandwiches was excellent and tasted very good. The service was nice and fast, they accommodate the lunch crowd knowing you have to get back to work. Pretty poor experience the other night. Went with my two kids (11 yr old son likes it for the kids burger). I ordered a salad (think they call it there Chicken Salad, but it is greens with lots of stuff on it topped with sliced chicken breast). Usually a solid option. This time the side of dressing had a cherry tomato hidden down in the ramekin. Not sure how that got there!! They replaced it quickly enough, but man that gets your mind working. (how did that get in there? hopefully not the cheap mexican salsa reuse trick, eehhh) Anyway, started digging in to the salad and after a few bites found some slimy black stuff buried below the greens, egg, cheese etc... (not a healthy salad!!). Turned out that it was the remains of some poor elderly avocado they tried to push out. Really pretty gross. Picked it out, lost my appetite and the manager happily retrieved my plate and credited it on my ticket. Main issue is, who in the kitchen would push that out? Really, really poor kitchen management. Someone seriously had to pull this thing out, attempt to chop it and put it in a bowl to be served. For me, when I start thinking that a kitchen will push really expired food out trying to disguise it, its a big red flag and kinda creeps me out. Probably won't be back for awhile. Definitely not as good as the Charleston's on Yale.Very nice welcome hostess with a warm, beautiful smile.Of course, the setting is upscale and decorated quite nicely with soft accent lighting, stone veneer and wood. Long Island Iced tea was perfectly concocted with just the right blend of liquor,sweet and sour,a s was the shaken margarita. Delicious Caesar salad and the server was able to add anchovies,which I love with Caesar Salads. Included was the lightest,fluffiest croissant buttered roll that literally melted in your mouth! Partner had the ribs,which are a signature item and to die for, excellent thick sauce and very tender but meaty.He thought the Chicken was too salty with the seasoning and I have to agree,although I enjoyed it more than he. My baked potato was loaded but they missed any butter somehow and not particularly warm. Dane didn't care for his bean side dish but I love the sweet/chili mix. My biggest beef was with the beef...ordered a $19 rib eye that was somewhat flavorless but had a tough grizzle streak running through it,making for difficult chewing. This surprised me for a Charleston, not really know for steaks but you'd expect everything on this relatively short menu to be superlative,and it was sorely lacking. For desert, we got the brownie and it too was not really very warm, maybe microwaved for a short time,although it did have good chocolate flavor and nuts smothered with a caramel sauce a la mode...yummy. Next time we will go to the other Charleston's I am afraid,although Brookside is more convenient. read more

Tried the 8 oz top sirloin tonight. Unfortunately, it was sub par and I ate maybe a third. But the service has been wonderful and everything else was delicious, fresh veggies and house salad and the teenager had their chicken tender platter! We're sharing the brownie dessert with vanilla ice cream. Splurge!! read more

I ordered the pork chops. They were not done when they came out. After a few bites I realized that the middle was very undercooked and light pink. I sent them back. The manager came out and offered to cook them further. By that time my group was finished with dinner. In any event, they cooked them further and boxed them up for me. This was completely inadequate. I did not order take out food. I brought them home and fed them to the dog and made a sandwich. There was no offer of any discount on any future visit or offer to take the cost off of the check. Extremely poor customer service. I was charged full price as if I had received what I ordered. Ridiculous! read more

Nice and consistent great food. Never had a bad meal and Ive eaten here over 25 times. Chicken fried steak is huge and you must try the glazed carrots. Steaks are some of the absolute best in town. This place was absolutely amazing! It was the first time we had ever been there and the food was phenomenal!! It's the only restaurant we have been to since we've been in Oklahoma that we had absolutely no problems with at all. The food was to die for and the service was amazing! All the servers, expeditors, and bussers worked together so well. it was nice to see the teamwork. If we are ever back in Oklahoma this will definitely be the first stop I make. read more

I took my mom here for her 80th birthday, she had never been to Charleston's. The place was packed on a Wednesday night, which is always a good sign. From the hostess to the wait staff the service could not have been better! We ordered the spinach artichoke dip which was delicious and then we had the chicken picatta and the shrimp scampi....both were delicious!!
