The so called Cajun fries and the cheese fries sauce
    Leslie G.

Our bill was $43.19 The Cajun wings and teriyaki wings were SO SALTY. We ordered cheese fries (pictured with cheese melted on top) and Cajun fries. Both were given to us plain and a side of cheese sauce. The chicken Philly was the saddest sandwich I've ever seen, It had 1 piece of bacon and the chicken was barely there. The ketchup packets were not only stuck together with old ketchup but also split open. They forgot to give us our drinks until we mentioned it. They sprinkled Cajun on my fries and handed them right back (didn't even give them a little toss at least). The worker just wiped down the ketchup packets and gave them back to me showing me the box of smeared ketchup packets. The manager even seemed upset that I was even bringing this up!!

Horrible Service! I waited for 7 min watching a guy make fries and a girl just standing there as I waited to be helped or even acknowledged, He was not friendly and didn't get my order right ! The bread and meat were cold with very little meat! So sad to charge $14 for NO MEAT! The lettuce was brown which I took off ! Just NASTY! Maybe the employee should get off his phone while ppl are waiting in line! I will NEVER RETURN!

    slow ass workers

Slowest fucking workers I have ever watched in my life. No sense of urgency whatsoever and it shows.

This was located inside the food court of Sun Valley mall. They had a daily special so my family and I decided to try it. Service: The staff were friendly, patient and efficient. We received our food quickly. Food: The daily special was $7.79 small chicken with fries. My family and I got the Chicken Philly, Chicken California and Chicken Teriyaki. They all tasted pretty good. I loved how soft the buns were. The melted cheese was the best part. The fries were freshly fried. Loved it all. Overall, I had pretty good experience here. I would definitely get their items again if I come back to this mall.

Charleys Cheesesteaks is located in the Sun Valley Mall, and one of the only original food court shops that are still there ever since the food court officially opened here, which is probably a feat of its own. They offer exactly what their name notes, Cheesesteaks, and other sandwich varieties. I won't really talk about the ambience since it's the Sun Valley Mall food court sitting area, so take that as you will. Price wise, it's roughly about the same as the other spots around, but if you have to compare, they're probably on the cheaper side, if not one of the cheapest for food options in this food court. Their menu isn't terribly large, so your options will just be a select few sandwiches from them, and then really just fries of variation, and that's about it. Service was pretty good though on that day for me, but it's not always, as I've been here in the past, and it wasn't always great, but hey, it's a rotating hire kinda place, or teens looking for temp jobs and such, so it's to be expected inconsistent at times. Their sandwiches in the past have been decent, so thought I'd give it a try again on this day. Got the Bacon Buffalo Chicken sandwich, with a side of fries, and also the medium sized one. It was pretty decent. Quantity of meat in there was generous, the amount of other stuff like bell peppers and so on were also aplenty. Enough cheese on it so no disappointments there. Fries were okay, just standard fries. And the taste was pretty good, though I did expect it to be spicier since it was advertised as buffalo chicken, so that's the main let down, but all things considered, not too bad. Final word? I'd give it a shot, especially if you're looking for options at the mall, and a quicker one besides the sit down restaurants just outside the door in the floor above. It's not mind blowing by any means, but they're solid for sure, as I will probably go back again for another sandwich at several points in the future.

5/5 for my food court experience. There are few options in the malls food court so I'm glad this place was open. Pros: -food was made to order so fries were fresh and my sandwich was nice and hot -Visually, I'm surprised at how well put together everything came out -their covid game is on point! I saw the cashier wash her hand multiple times between orders and used hand sanitizer before handing someone a plastic bag Cons: -n/a

$8.99 Special Small Sandwich, Fries, Small Drink

The choices in the food court are very lacking. There is Charley's Philly Steaks; Lotus Express Chinese; Suki Hana Japanese; Pizza Studio (opening soon); Uncle Shark II Poke Bar. Based on signage but no longer in business were Chicken Connection and Cilantro. We were going to dinner later so we decided to grab a quick bite and share it. There was an special. For $8.99 plus tax, we could get a Small Cheesesteak Sandwich, Small Fries and Small Drink. I don't know what I was thinking, I opted out of having Mushrooms, Onions and Bell Peppers and kept the Lettuce, Tomato and Pickles. Guess I was thinking of a more traditional sandwich. Anyway, after the order taker took my order and gave me my change, she turned around and pulled a basket of fries out of the fryer and flipped them to drain. Then she put on a pair of plastic gloves to salt and dish up the fries. I noticed that she went back and forth from register to food prep and constantly changed her gloves. Good job! There was an employee working the grill by himself until an older gentleman came out. Then the younger employee took over the second register. Somehow, while this seems organized, it wasn't. There were a few orders waiting to be prepared and no customers waiting to order. Total wait time for our order was about seven minutes. Yes, I know I'm ordering food from a shopping mall food court. My expectations were lowered for both service and food but this just wasn't a good experience. The size of the Cheese Steak was snack sized. The fries were warm but not hot. Everything was just so-so. I've had much better Cheese Steaks in the past. Live and learn.

Price on the menu display does not reflect the price that they're charging you! Buyer beware for the okey-doke!

Display one charge and then ring you up for other! Doesn't seem fair asked staff to correct and they would not or could not.

Every ingredient tasted incredibly fresh, and the combination of flavors was just unreal. I got mine extra toasted, and it came out perfect--warm, crispy, and honestly tasted like it was made fresh out of the garden. The quality really stands out. I came to visit this place after having lunch next door, and decided to buy a couple of bottles of…read morebarbecue spices and a half rack of ribs to go. One of the ladies at the counter was kind enough to explain subtle taste differences between the spice bottles, there are actual dry rub spices and there are bottles of barbecue sauce in different sublime flavors. There is a very long front counter at the meat/deli with different side dishes which traditionally accompany the barbecued meats, such as a counter with cooked meats to order to eat, a counter of deli meats and cheeses, plus a counter of raw meats to purchase to take meat home in order to do your own barbecuing or baking at home. Various shoppers were buying food to eat there, the place has several small tables along the interior walls to sit down and eat, other people bought meat to go, either the already barbecued meat, or raw meat or deli meat to go. I tried out the tequila lime half rack of ribs, which I brought home for dinner. It was tasty, nicely barbecued and seasoned, and does go perfectly with whatever sides you choose to buy. There are plenty of choices if you feel like buying barbecue or deli, especially when you don't feel like prepping the grill outside for your barbecued meals. This is also a place you can cater for a large party, there's a catering menu where you can pre-order your meats, whatever you'd want to serve when you're planning to entertain your guests or tail gate. I would come here again if I'm in the area, having barbecue without cooking is a very good choice, especially if you're too lazy to fire up the barbecue pit at home. There is plenty of parking at the lot available locate in the front of the store. Do try Kinder's if you're wanting to take a break from driving the long 680 freeway in the SF East Bay, it's a little off the beaten track for just a few miles, but if you live in the East Bay, it's a drive completely worth it in order to avoid cooking barbecue yourself!

When I…read morelooked at the menu for online ordering, I got super confused because they had the Dagwood listed under 3 different sections. 2 of them had a starting price of around $17, while one had a starting price of around $13. I figured I'd go with the $13 one, why not? Then I quickly realized that the ordering system was a whole mess. It gave me the option to customize my sandwich, but some of the required fields didn't make any sense at all. For example, I don't like olives, but it required me to select olives. Then there were 2 separate sections for extra meat and extra ingredients, and those were required too, and both came with additional charges!!! I thought requiring customers to add extra ingredients and charging them extra because of that was totally ridiculous. If I don't want extra meat or extra ingredients, I should be able to leave those options blank and still place my order. But I couldn't proceed to place my order if I didn't select those. I ended up trying to go with the $17 option instead with minimal customization options. I eventually just placed the order, went to the store, and picked it up. As for the sandwich itself, it was pretty standard in size and the quality was decent, but there really wasn't much going on inside. It was basically just bread, meat, and cheese. There weren't even any vegetables! No lettuce whatsoever. I thought that was really weird for a sandwich to be very bare like this, especially given that the final total cost was $19 for a single sandwich from a small deli. I expected a lot more from a sandwich at that price! Again, the sandwich wasn't bad, but I didn't think it was worth $19.
