I really wanted just 3 burger patties with cheese and bacon as seen on the Yelp pictures from other Yelper's visit. The waitress seemed confused by that eve though I showed her the pictures so I just ordered a bun-less 1/2 lbs burger. Inside was cool and clean. Ceramic plates, paper napkins metal utensils. Contemporary music inside, a bit loud to me. My burger patty was really good. It didn't really seem like a half pound but maybe it was just me. Anyway, if I could figure out how to order just the cheese bacon patty like in the photos, I will do that next time.

The mozzarella sticks do seem a little different from what I remember at the original spot, but these were still fresh, hot, gooey, and really good. The marinara they serve with them is great. The boneless wings were solid too, and their chipotle BBQ sauce is one of my favorites. My son ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with that same chipotle BBQ sauce. The sandwich was huge and he ended up taking half of it home to finish later. I went with the Uncle Sam burger, which is a classic burger setup with bacon added. It was very good. Their sidewinder fries are always on point. One thing that deserves special attention here is the bun. They make their buns in house and they're excellent. Fresh, soft, and full of flavor. It's not just something holding the burger together. The bun is part of what makes the whole burger experience work. This place has been part of my family's routine for decades now. The meat was well seasoned and cooked right, and the bun held up with everything going on, which isn't always the case. My son had a classic burger and finished it fast with no complaints. My daughter is picky and went with the grilled cheese, but even that disappeared without a fight, which says a lot. My wife ordered the Nashville hot sandwich and it came out as a huge piece of chicken. She couldn't finish it, but my son had no problem stepping in later. We shared the parmesan truffle fries and the regular hand cut fries. Both were crispy and paired well with everything else. The place was busy during a weekend lunch rush, but the staff stayed friendly and kept things moving. Food came out quick, and the place looked clean despite the crowd. We'll definitely be back.
