We love Jersey Mike's but this restaurant location seems to be hit and miss. We ordered delivery tonight and our driver called and said they were out of wheat bread?!? Really?!? Hard to believe from a sandwich place. We agreed to accept white bread for our sandwiches but when they arrived we could barely eat them because the bread was sooooo stale! Gross! Nothing is more aggravating than having an adult staff member say "huh" and act like they didn't hear you when you ask a question and then they respond/blame others for their bad behavior. I normally really love this Jersey Mikes. But my last visit just floored me. I ordered three sandwiches and I forgot to say no cheese on two of them. No big deal. As they were making them, I asked if they could just take the cheese from the two and move it to the third. They told me I would have to pay for extra cheese. I clarified that I wasn't asking to not pay for the cheese, just to move it. And the manager told me I would still have to pay for extra cheese! This makes absolutely zero sense. Time to look for a new sandwich shop in Corpus. Any recommendations? read more

Showed up at 8:40 pm. Door was locked, place was closed even though it says on the door and online open until 9:00pm. Knocked on the door and the gentleman inside ignored us. I'm sick at home and so I order dinner for my family. This store first didn't have all the items we ordered, second, they forgot to put into the bag the sodas ordered and a whole sandwich before the bag was picked up. They called and asked that we ask the driver to go back but the driver never went back to pick it up. Then I called back and ask them to send an additional driver but they said they couldn't. So I asked to be refunded for that sandwich. I later get a call being yelled at by a manager for not going to pick up the sandwich myself. They are not giving us a refund either. Yesterday, I stopped at Jersey Mike's at 1813 Ennis Joslin in C.C. for a #13 The Original, and had them prepare it, "Mike's Way" - best sandwich EVER !! There were 3 very friendly and very professional gentleman behind the counter and seemed to be interested in every customer. The name on my recite: Brendan. They had also received the Kitchen Cops Award! Sometimes, I order their #56 The Big Kahuna, (Philly Cheese Steak with grilled onions, mushrooms and jalapenos). Another excellent choice of sandwiches.... actually ALL the choices are the best ;-) There is another Jersey Mike's on Staples at the Moore Plaza - either and both are excellent !! The location is a little bit of a puzzle to get into if you miss that first right turn off Ennis Joslin...but doesn't bear at all in this comment. It's a small strip center but parking wasn't at all a problem in the middle of the Saturday afternoon. The staff was very friendly upon entry and taking the order. They definitely cater to the university crowd as they asked if I had some kind of dolphin card or something like that. I'm WAY beyond "college years." Anyhoo, the actual in-store experience was pleasant. There's not a lot of choice toward customizing a sandwich and they're a bit on the pricey side. I got two #17 "Mikes Famous Philly" to go. I feel that even though they had a steady crowd through the door, they served up their customers in very reasonable time. I get home with the sammys and bite in. Both my wife and I thought that the peppers were a LITTLE too over-bearing on the overall flavor...that the meat was a touch on the dried out side. All this making it a little more chewy than it should be. Overall, a good visit. Pluses: courteousness, punctuality, location. Minus: The sandwich was a bit dried out and the peppers a bit too strong. Good enough for us to try again in the future. read more

Amazing sandwiches, first rate service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Being from the East Coast, this was a nice change from the bland sandwich shop chains we have had. Brought back childhood memories, and the staff were fun to talk to, and very accommodating. The prices might be a bit more, but I'll gladly pay for having my sandwich meat freshly sliced in front of me, and the higher quality of fresh baked bread.
