Usually the food is okay but today the Philly cheese steak is extremely undercooked. The meat was almost raw but I assume it's pre-cooked, who knows. The fries and the boneless wings were good but not so much the Philly cheesesteak. I do not recommend this location.

No doubt food was expensive here but who've thought they actually cared about doing French fries right, for less than $4, the fries tasted fresh out of frier, hot, cripsy, wholesome and hearty. If they can do small things with a meticulous approach, you can safely say other items would taste equally good, and yes they did philly cheesesteak sandwich justice. Service was fast and friendly. My son's favorite food spot in great mall and it must be a reason why.

Steak Philly Cheesesteak - Small (6")

Expectations aren't sky-high when it comes to meals from a mall food court but unfortunately Charley's failed to clear even the low mental bar that I had set for it. The cheesesteak itself was average but small, and the cheese fries were terrible and should be avoided at all costs. The quality of the cheesesteak itself was serviceable, probably exactly what you would expect in this setting. At first I was pleasantly surprised at the price point as it was around $8 for a six-inch sub which is right around what you would expect from a place like Subway these days. Once it arrived though it became abundantly clear how they keep the price down as this thing was about as wide as a #2 pencil. It was the skinniest hoagie roll I've ever seen, so the total volume of this cheesesteak was probably half what you might get at another chain. The real nail in the coffin for me came with the cheese fries which were legitimately awful. A simple comparison between the picture on the menu and the picture of what I actually received tells part of the story, but it doesn't capture how low-quality the cheese sauce they use is. Imagine the cheap plastic container of cheese-like substance that would be handed to you to drizzle over your stale nacho chips at a little league concession stand and even that would probably be preferable to what they slop on top of these mediocre french fries. Do yourself a favor and never order these.

Cheese steaks, here I come! You can share with your buddy on one of their signature 12inch cheese steaks. They even have a selection of fries, which I loved! (Bacon and cheese) yummy! The staff are well trained and friendly. Its a casual setting, situated in the dining court of Great Mall. Better park in site 5, lots of empty space parking with shade.

Charley's Cheesesteaks is hands down my favorite place to eat whenever I visit the Great Mall. Their sandwiches are always fresh, perfectly made, and consistently delicious. The staff never gets our orders wrong, which is a huge plus, and the quality never disappoints. If you're looking for a reliable and tasty meal, this is definitely the spot! Tip: if there's a long line at the cashier they have a self order tablet to the right of the restaurant.

Not the best cheesesteak but it definitely does the job factoring you being at a mall food court. I decided to come here since it had been a while since my last Philly cheesesteak sandwich and being that this particular business stood out beyond all the neighboring noodles being offered. I placed the order for the Philly cheesesteak combo which came out pretty quickly. At first glance, the sandwich looked like an absolutely unappetizing mess but the ingredients were plentiful and the cheese was all melty. Sandwich was merely okay. Nothing great but not inedible. Soggy-ish bread didn't really help but the meat wasn't dry. Best item from the purchase was definitely the fries- fluffy on the inside with a nice golden tan. 3 stars overall. Service was prompt and unexpectedly pleasant.

Great subs. Esp their Cajun chicken and the cheese steak sandwiches are very good. Would recommend everyone to visit.

I ordered three bánh mì sandwiches : one roasted pork and two pork belly and all of them were delicious and well seasoned with the perfect balance of the pickled veggies. The roasted pork, in particular, stood out to me. It had a satisfying crunch, and it's not something I see very often at other bánh mì shops. I'm usually pretty selective when it comes to bánh mì, but this place exceeded my expectations. I only wish the banh mi were a little bigger, but overall, the food was excellent, and I'll definitely be back.

When it was finally done, I asked for extra veggies and was told no. I then said I'm happy to pay which resulted in this huge back and forth between two workers which finally resulted in them allowing me to buy a bag of veggies. The wait time for this took a good extra ten minutes. Then there was another previous time I came and eggrolls I had ordered weren't included. They ended up offering one pate Chaud to replace but the pricing didn't even out. Will be in search for other banh mi place and come back here as a plan B.

It was quiet on Sunday mornings inside, but lines are popular at times and getting orders ready can take more than 15 minutes depending on what you ordered. Chicken pate chaud tasted good and the half size veggie Banh Mi sandwich was decently stuffed with vegetables with very crumby and crispy soft bread texture. Fresh. Packaging was convenient. My lotus coconut beverage was good in size too. I ordered from the easy self service kiosk. My server greeted me and took care of my needs over the counter. I tried many items on the menu before, including latte, matcha beverages, coconut matcha beverage when it existed, Vietnamese coffee, teas, all types pate chaud, buttered croissants, other banh mi sandwiches, etc. Convenience is key. Some of the matcha beverages with fruits is too sweet for my tastebuds though. It feels like they're focused on food/beverage quality nowadays. Wait times can still be longer than expected at times, but the last few employees I came across were actually more productive with better training. It can turn out to be a hit or miss experience at times. Environment is decent and modern with good upkeep. It's pretty comfortable inside when there are lesser crowds and long lines for sure.

Did my usual quick Yelp search and came upon this spot near where I was. It's a hole in the wall but with large table seating (3 large table rows). Even though it was aged space, the restaurant was very clean. The extensive Banh Mi menu caught my eye. I think combination Banh Mi's are still my go to sandwiches but I did try a Pork/Pork Skin/Steamed Port sandwich, too. And of course I got my fresh shrimp and pork spring rolls. They also offered a variety of pho and dishes but I didn't order those this time. Three long spring rolls and two Banh Mi's later, I was on my way. But, the rumble was getting serious so opened the rolls. I know, I know... don't eat and drive. But... The rolls didn't make it home. I literally had an eye rolling relationship with these spring rolls on my way home. With a large container of peanut dipping sauce and 3 plump rolls packed with greens, rice noodles, generous shrimp and pork slices, I conversed with myself that these were probably some of THE MOST DELICIOUS springs rolls I've ever had! Holy YOM! But, don't tell anyone! I want to eat all the spring rolls! My afternoon snack of rolls and part of one Banh Mi filled me up so much, I didn't eat dinner! No more rumble. Just a happy tummy!

Something made me think about Katz's Delicatessen in NYC and I suddenly craved a Pastrami sandwich…read more I was excited to find Mirchi nearby and a locally beloved pastrami with interesting ingredients. Location is near the Mirchi cafe on Fremont Blvd in the plaza right next to Wonderland smoke shop. There is plenty of parking. Staff was super nice and helped me open the stuck door that you have to pull really hard on to get in. The market is small but curated and I was drawn to the imported potato chips. I picked up a bag of Lay's Masala chips I haven't had since I was in Mumbai, excited to eat it with my sandwich. The sandwich took about 10 minutes to make and panini-press and smelled delicious. However, when I got home I immediately noticed the color and thought they had mistakenly used roast beef. I looked at some of the other reviews and their doordash image and I'm confused on what I got. The pastrami was missing the distinct reddish-pink color from brining and black bark from smoking, I'm not sure how it was prepped in-house but it tasted like roast beef. I did enjoy the blueberry jam and pepperoncini combo.
