I wanted to call out our server Lauren because she was amazing and really outgoing. It made our wedding anniversary very special at this place. The steak was amazing mashed potatoes are to die for. It was very quiet and peaceful here. I want to give a special shout out to Lauren who made it really special today thank you.

I came here for appetizers as we were waiting for a dinner reservation. I had a nice chilled glass of rosé with the deviled eggs and the shishito peppers. Appetizers were pretty tasty, nothing exceptional, but solid. The ambience was really nice, the lobby of the hotel was very swanky and comfortable and lots of different furniture. We started at the bar, but then finished our glass of wine on one of the sofas.

We ate two breakfasts and a large dinner at Charlie Palmer Steak recently. Breakfast was good. I had yogurt, granola and fruit with a Chai and a two days later the ricotta pancakes with green smoothie. Those were some of the best pancakes I've had in a restaurant. I love orange zest and mint with fruit, so that hit well. Dinner featured lovely shrimp cocktail, with a well flavored cocktail sauce. The Hamachi Crudo was fun to eat, light and refreshing. A rooftop garden supplies wonderful herbs and heirloom tomatoes. The refined chicken had an interesting and delightful presentation. The chocolate cake was beautiful and exactly how a steakhouse dessert should be.

I am not sure who's giving Charlie Palmer a bad review but I love it here. I love the bartenders. I love my Aji tacos. My deviled eggs are always so delicious and a happy hour is always so good. It's nice and quiet sometimes and sometimes it's busy and sociable, but I like it and that's what it's supposed to be. It's a very popular bar and people love it here. Not sure why has bad reviews. The food is good. The people are nice and they have amazing hotel rooms. Every time I come to Napa, I come here I come to the archer hotel. I'll come visit Charlie Palmer and I always get a mock cocktail and some food during their happy hour cause I love you. It's amazing. It's a nice vibe.

My boyfriend and I came in for Valentine's Day, it's our favorite restaurant. They make THE best steak and their sauces are all amazing. Not only is their food the best, but the whole experience: the staff, the manager, the atmosphere. They treated us so kind and warmly. The hotel staff accidentally made our reservation for the wrong day so when we showed up, the hostess didn't seem to want to help tbh, but the manager and servers were so accommodating and welcoming, despite being fully booked. They were so apologetic about the mix up and went above and beyond, but also did it seamlessly & gracefully. It just goes to show they really valued our experience. They truly made us feel like good friends. The vibe was super positive and they had live music in the lobby. The cuisine was divine, with very fresh ingredients. Amazing quality food and people at Charlie Palmer

Went to Charlie Palmer back in June to celebrate a family member's birthday. It was really a lovely experience! Service was top notch as servers were very attentive to our party! Food was amazing! Steaks were cooked to perfection, and the sauces provided really completed it. One person in our party only likes well done steaks and even that was tender! The sides and starters were delicious. Thinking about the meal we had still makes me mouth water!

Food was very over cooked and dry. One steak ordered rare plus came out well. The short rib was dry with no sauce to help the situation. Service timing was way off and it seemed like only one server was helping the entire room. She was great but the flow from the kitchen was way off. Not worth the price and better options in Napa valley for dinner.

What a fantastic Filipino Heritage Month celebration at Charlie Palmer Steak Napa! This high-end steakhouse really impressed us with their creative take on Filipino cuisine. First impression: WOW! A surprise seafood tower loaded with fresh oysters, jumbo shrimp, and king crab, plus some amazing crispy pork belly bites to start. The real star was their Monday Napa Neighbor menu ($55) featuring Filipino-inspired dishes: - Ahi tuna kinilaw served in a coconut shell with caviar (beautiful presentation!) - Adobo glazed chicken with mushroom risotto (perfectly cooked) - Tropical halo-halo for dessert (authentic flavors with an upscale twist) Pro tip: Add the $25 wine pairings - incredible value for Napa! The service was impeccable - Chef Eddie Espiritu, Autumn Phelps and the F&B team at Charlie Palmer's Napa provided stellar hospitality throughout the evening. The outdoor dining was comfortable and warm thanks to heaters on this gorgeous October night. The restaurant had such a warm, community feeling with many local faces. Napa desperately needs more Filipino cuisine, and Charlie Palmer shows exactly why. Will definitely be back!

RESTAURANT WEEK: Just meh for the price. Overcooked lobster and steak. Maybe because they were cooking so many for restaurant week. I loved the wine pairing although it wasn't explained what we were drinking but not sure it was worth the ADDED $25 price for the drink. Just meh in general.

We decided to try this place out on our first night in Napa. We got the tomahawk ribeye, chicken, lobster ravioli, and some side dishes. Everything tasted amazing but the lobster ravioli was the best amongst all the other great dishes. The ribeye was tender and cooked perfectly with a red wine sauce, and the oysters on the half shell was fresh and delicate. Overall a great experience

Great dinner- fillets, Brussels sprouts and sautéed mushrooms.

We had an amazing early Mother's Day dinner at Charlie Palmer today. The service and the ambiance were both amazing. Our meal was simply wonderful. We tried everything: house made rolls, baby beets salad, yellowfin tartare, fillet mignon, sides of sautéed mushrooms and glazed Brussels sprouts. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a dinner here for Thanksgiving. The price was $95 per adult. The atmosphere itself was fantastic, although the tables for two were pretty small for everything that crowded the table. The service was pretty average, nothing out of the ordinary. The meal began with the butternut squash soup and chicory salad. The soup was delicious, it was my second time trying butternut squash soup, the first being less enjoyable. The crème fraiche really added to the flavor. The chicory salad was okay. I'd associate that rating more-so to my taste preferences rather than it actually being bad. The Parker Rolls with the whipped butter were delicious (not pictured), as was the mashed potatoes (not pictured) and the sourdough stuffing (not pictured) was a first for me, but again very good. Everything in terms of the main course and desserts were great, although I wished the brussel sprouts were served with pancetta. Overall a great Thanksgiving dinner, the price point is up for debate.

With a wasabi and fennel infused vodka, it was too unique not to be curious about. Upon arriving and looking over the menu, SEVERAL cocktails stood out to me as intriguing to try. I started with the Wabi Sabi which was as interesting as it sounded. While I didn't pick up on fennel, you do pick up on the wasabi, but in the most subtle of ways. Think maybe lime/ginger sparkling water with just a hint of spice. Refreshing and different for sure. I also tried the Mucha Lucha w/ cilantro infused Siete Leguas Blanco, chorizo infused mezcal and cubes made of hot sauce that make the drink have a bit more of a kick as you allow them to melt. I did the HH chips and guac which was also accompanied with a tasty Chipotle sauce. Damn good actually. It'd be excellent served in a variety of ways. The deviled eggs aren't going to blow your mind, but I like that you get 4 different ones- and simply because I love eggs, I'd order them again. (They just wouldn't be a dish that brings me back). The bartender was great- helpful and attentive, even as more people began to filter in for an early afternoon. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Napa to check out some other menu options.

This place is a new favorite of mine…read more I think as I go to more and more Tiki Bars, I really gravitate to the ones that have more unique drinks. I make drinks at home. I've had a traditional Mai Tai a million of times. Do you have Tiki Drinks that are going to make me want to drive 45 minutes to you? On top of that, is your food worth it? I'm happy to say that the answer to both of these questions are yes. I've gone here 3 times within the last two weeks and one item that is a constant order is the Orange Chicken. Nowadays I think people are used to the classic super sweet Panda Express style Orange Chicken that you'll also see occasionally at your local Chinese food restaurant. Wilfred's Orange Chicken definitely is sweet but its not as sweet as what I used to and I'm not mad about it. There's a lot of depth with the sauce. I don't know if they are just putting more soy sauce or dark soy sauce...Maybe it's Oyster/Fish sauce? Theres definitely some kind of extra Umami going on. An added plus is that it pair perfectly with the tanginess of the Pineapple Fried Rice. For drinks my favorites have been the Manta Ray and the Sanfroyosko. The reason being is just because these have been the more unique ones that I've been really enjoying. The Manta Ray is more tropical than one might think. However it's tropical with a bit of funk. The combination of the Gin, Falernum, and Sauv Blanc Syrup really add to the complexity. The other drink I really like is the Sanfroyosko. If you are a Mai Tai lover, this is the one to try. The substitution of the typical tums with the Shochu, Sake and Pisco add even more of a Wine and floral flavor profile to the drink. On top of that the Sesame Orgeat gives and even more nuttier flavor than normal. But despite all these flavors going on, it still kinda tastes like a Mai Tai. The service has always been amazing. Every person who has served us has served us with a smile. But even despite how friendly they are, there still remains this sense of professionalism with their interactions. They check in at the perfect times. They ask how we are enjoying everything and share their favorite things to drink/eat. With the amazing tiki decor and island music, you really do feel like you are on an Island anytime you eat here.

For round two, the Bee's Sneeze is another solid choice. I paired my drinks with the lobster roll, which was the standout food item of my visit. The bun was light, fluffy, and perfectly toasted. While the lobster salad wasn't the best I've ever had, it was a very solid bite for a dive-lounge-style bar. I'd skip the chips it comes with, but the fries are absolutely worth ordering. One small service hiccup worth mentioning: the fries are listed as coming with a herb aioli, but mine arrived with ketchup. When I asked about the aioli, my server initially tried to play it off before eventually sharing that they were out. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but it was an odd interaction that could have been handled more directly. The atmosphere is a dark, casual lounge with a cozy hole-in-the-wall feel along the river. The staff was welcoming. If you're looking to trade wine tasting for a cocktail side quest, The Fink is definitely worth a visit.
