I wanted to call out our server Lauren because she was amazing and really outgoing. It made our wedding anniversary very special at this place. The steak was amazing mashed potatoes are to die for. It was very quiet and peaceful here. I want to give a special shout out to Lauren who made it really special today thank you.

I came here for appetizers as we were waiting for a dinner reservation. I had a nice chilled glass of rosé with the deviled eggs and the shishito peppers. Appetizers were pretty tasty, nothing exceptional, but solid. The ambience was really nice, the lobby of the hotel was very swanky and comfortable and lots of different furniture. We started at the bar, but then finished our glass of wine on one of the sofas.

We ate two breakfasts and a large dinner at Charlie Palmer Steak recently. Breakfast was good. I had yogurt, granola and fruit with a Chai and a two days later the ricotta pancakes with green smoothie. Those were some of the best pancakes I've had in a restaurant. I love orange zest and mint with fruit, so that hit well. Dinner featured lovely shrimp cocktail, with a well flavored cocktail sauce. The Hamachi Crudo was fun to eat, light and refreshing. A rooftop garden supplies wonderful herbs and heirloom tomatoes. The refined chicken had an interesting and delightful presentation. The chocolate cake was beautiful and exactly how a steakhouse dessert should be.

I am not sure who's giving Charlie Palmer a bad review but I love it here. I love the bartenders. I love my Aji tacos. My deviled eggs are always so delicious and a happy hour is always so good. It's nice and quiet sometimes and sometimes it's busy and sociable, but I like it and that's what it's supposed to be. It's a very popular bar and people love it here. Not sure why has bad reviews. The food is good. The people are nice and they have amazing hotel rooms. Every time I come to Napa, I come here I come to the archer hotel. I'll come visit Charlie Palmer and I always get a mock cocktail and some food during their happy hour cause I love you. It's amazing. It's a nice vibe.

THE BEST HAPPY HOUR IN NAPA! Charlie Palmer Steak is located inside the Archer Hotel in downtown Napa. I love this hotel and I always stop by when I'm downtown. Charlie Palmer has a weekend happy hour! Yes, you heard that right! That's super rare to find, and not only that, the menu offerings are bomb! My boyfriend and I came here for Happy Hour on a Saturday after wine tasting. Their happy hour is 50% off the small plates menu. Our favorite thing were their lobster corndogs! OMG sooooo good! It's normally $23 but the HH price was $11.50! It came with 3 pieces and it was super delicious and tasty! We also got the Mac & Cheese Croquettes and my boyfriend got the Grilled Double-Stack Burger. Everything we ordered was A+! We both also had a glass of house red wine to go with our food. Our bellies were happy! I'll for sure be returning for Happy Hour!

Went to Charlie Palmer back in June to celebrate a family member's birthday. It was really a lovely experience! Service was top notch as servers were very attentive to our party! Food was amazing! Steaks were cooked to perfection, and the sauces provided really completed it. One person in our party only likes well done steaks and even that was tender! The sides and starters were delicious. Thinking about the meal we had still makes me mouth water!

RESTAURANT WEEK: Just meh for the price. Overcooked lobster and steak. Maybe because they were cooking so many for restaurant week. I loved the wine pairing although it wasn't explained what we were drinking but not sure it was worth the ADDED $25 price for the drink. Just meh in general.

Food was very over cooked and dry. One steak ordered rare plus came out well. The short rib was dry with no sauce to help the situation. Service timing was way off and it seemed like only one server was helping the entire room. She was great but the flow from the kitchen was way off. Not worth the price and better options in Napa valley for dinner.

What a fantastic Filipino Heritage Month celebration at Charlie Palmer Steak Napa! This high-end steakhouse really impressed us with their creative take on Filipino cuisine. First impression: WOW! A surprise seafood tower loaded with fresh oysters, jumbo shrimp, and king crab, plus some amazing crispy pork belly bites to start. The real star was their Monday Napa Neighbor menu ($55) featuring Filipino-inspired dishes: - Ahi tuna kinilaw served in a coconut shell with caviar (beautiful presentation!) - Adobo glazed chicken with mushroom risotto (perfectly cooked) - Tropical halo-halo for dessert (authentic flavors with an upscale twist) Pro tip: Add the $25 wine pairings - incredible value for Napa! The service was impeccable - Chef Eddie Espiritu, Autumn Phelps and the F&B team at Charlie Palmer's Napa provided stellar hospitality throughout the evening. The outdoor dining was comfortable and warm thanks to heaters on this gorgeous October night. The restaurant had such a warm, community feeling with many local faces. Napa desperately needs more Filipino cuisine, and Charlie Palmer shows exactly why. Will definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I came in for Valentine's Day, it's our favorite restaurant. They make THE best steak and their sauces are all amazing. Not only is their food the best, but the whole experience: the staff, the manager, the atmosphere. They treated us so kind and warmly. The hotel staff accidentally made our reservation for the wrong day so when we showed up, the hostess didn't seem to want to help tbh, but the manager and servers were so accommodating and welcoming, despite being fully booked. They were so apologetic about the mix up and went above and beyond, but also did it seamlessly & gracefully. It just goes to show they really valued our experience. They truly made us feel like good friends. The vibe was super positive and they had live music in the lobby. The cuisine was divine, with very fresh ingredients. Amazing quality food and people at Charlie Palmer

We decided to try this place out on our first night in Napa. We got the tomahawk ribeye, chicken, lobster ravioli, and some side dishes. Everything tasted amazing but the lobster ravioli was the best amongst all the other great dishes. The ribeye was tender and cooked perfectly with a red wine sauce, and the oysters on the half shell was fresh and delicate. Overall a great experience

Great dinner- fillets, Brussels sprouts and sautéed mushrooms.

We had an amazing early Mother's Day dinner at Charlie Palmer today. The service and the ambiance were both amazing. Our meal was simply wonderful. We tried everything: house made rolls, baby beets salad, yellowfin tartare, fillet mignon, sides of sautéed mushrooms and glazed Brussels sprouts. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked.

It makes you want to come back. Now to the food I have eaten lobster Mac and cheese at several restaurants but NONE compare to this. This was by far the absolute best lobster Mac and cheese I've ever had. The lobster is seasoned, they used three different cheeses, and it had the right amount of crunch around the edges of the Mac and cheese. My steak was pretty good as well but the lobster Mac and cheese stole the show. Let me also mention that the whiskey bread pudding was an excellent choice for dessert. I had a scoop of ice cream on top of the bread pudding which was certainly the right choice.

From the moment we pulled into the beautifully manicured grounds (with plenty of easy parking, a surprisingly underrated luxury in Napa), the evening felt special. We arrived about 15 minutes before our reservation and settled into the stunning bar for a cocktail. The bartender was welcoming and friendly, and the bar itself deserves a moment of appreciation: gorgeous stonework, soft embedded lighting, and some of the most comfortable leather bar stools I've ever had the pleasure of lingering in. Once our friends arrived, we were immediately seated in a lovely corner table in a beautiful dining room. Then the real fun began. Every single thing we ordered was exceptional. Cocktails were expertly crafted. The pork belly and watermelon appetizer was one of those dishes that makes everyone at the table stop talking for a moment. The roasted beet salad was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully presented. And then there was the service. Our team, Jose and Zach, struck that perfect balance between polished professionalism and genuine warmth. Our group tends to be a little cheeky, and they were great sports, engaging with us throughout the evening and making the experience feel personal without ever missing a beat. Fresh rolls appeared, accompanied by enough butter to satisfy even this butter-loving crowd (a detail that should never be underestimated). For entrees, we enjoyed a perfectly cooked filet mignon with savory cheesy potatoes with asparagus and carrots, an outstanding pork chop, a sea bass special, and a swordfish dish with each earning rave reviews around the table. Every plate was beautifully executed. No gimmicks. No unnecessary flourishes. Just incredibly well-prepared food made with care and confidence. What I appreciate most about Cordeiro's is that it knows exactly what it is. This isn't a flashy, see-and-be-seen downtown Napa dining experience with eye-watering prices and culinary gymnastics. It's something far better: a timeless steakhouse delivering exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere that encourages you to settle in, relax, and enjoy the people you're with. As if the evening couldn't get any better, Bashar stopped by our table and spent time chatting with us about the property, its history, and the incredible effort that goes into maintaining the grounds. He was an absolute delight. He even rolled over a beautiful cordial cart and helped us finish the evening with port, salted caramel liqueur, and an another other after-dinner treat that provided the perfect finale. I was dining with three true local Napa folks who had attended various events at Cordeiro's over the years, and it was fun hearing their stories and connections to the place. By the end of the night, all four of us were smiling, already talking about when we'd return. Great food. Great people. Great atmosphere. Cordeiro's isn't trying to be the newest thing in Napa. It's busy being one of the best.

The food is still excellent. The meats were flavorful, well-prepared, and reminded us why we enjoyed our first visit so much. Unfortunately, the overall dining experience felt very different this time around. Almost immediately, we noticed a much faster tempo of service and what felt like excessive attentiveness. While good service is appreciated, it reached a point where it became disruptive. Between the multiple servers, managers, and gauchos continuously stopping by our table, my wife and I could barely get through a sentence of conversation before someone appeared to ask how everything was, whether we needed anything, wanted more bread, water, sauce, a clean plate, or another round of meats. There was also a constant sense of being upsold throughout the evening. We were repeatedly encouraged to purchase a bottle of wine, try tequila shots from the roaming tequila cart, or upgrade to the 24-karat edible gold-wrapped top sirloin. While I understand restaurants promote premium offerings, the frequency of these pitches started to feel more like pressure than hospitality. What was most frustrating was that even after flipping our table indicator to red, which is supposed to signal a pause in meat service, the interruptions continued. At that point, we simply wanted to enjoy our meal and spend time together, but it felt like we spent more time interacting with staff than with each other. Ironically, the nonstop interruptions caused us to eat much faster than we intended. For two people, the bill came to nearly $300 after my 18% gratuity. The food is undeniably good, but for a special occasion like an anniversary, the experience matters just as much as the meal. Sadly, this visit felt more rushed and sales-driven than relaxing and memorable. We'll remember the quality of the food, but we're not sure the overall dining experience justifies the price anymore. We won't be going back anytime soon.

I do think someone from the restaurant should have asked them to stop, although I'll give the staff the benefit of the doubt that they may not have seen it. Overall, we had a really great experience and would definitely recommend Napkins. I'd give it a solid 4.5 stars!

He told us about the specials and I took him up on the special: shrimp ravioli in lobster sauce. Sadly, it was very bland and lacked the "lobster" flavor in the thick sauce. The drinks were awesome. Totally recommend the drinks: Midnight in Italy and Fume Midnight in Italy was basically a very well served Manhattan. But it was gloriously served. Giant cube ice cube, really lovely rye whiskey and the perfect orange garnish that added to the senses as you sipped Fume arrived in a light fixture like glass box that you open to retrieve your drink. It's filled with smoke to add to the drink's experience. My hands smelled like smoke hours after the dinner. The drink was tasty. The grilled pineapple was tasty. But it was more showy than tasty. Baker brie was insanely delish. It was the best baked Brie I had. Perfectly balanced with the honey and pistachio. The iceberg wedge salad was as you would've expected. Decent sized Maybe we didn't ordered the dishes that they were most popular for so I was disappointed. Will have to come back and try another round. Especially for the drinks.

She was the very first person we saw when we walked through the door, and she immediately greeted us with a warm smile and such a friendly, professional attitude. She was genuinely kind, welcoming, and made us feel like valued guests from the moment we arrived. First impressions matter, and she set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. Her positive attitude and exceptional customer service did not go unnoticed. Thank you for having someone who truly enjoys making guests feel welcome--she was a big part of what made our experience so enjoyable.

The service was a little spotty and could have been more attentive. The coffee was just okay, but the avocado toast was delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. I would highly recommend it! We also tried the French toast dish, which had a nice presentation and was enjoyable, but it lacked a little flavor and could have used something to make it more memorable. The indoor ambience is pleasant, but it feels more like a typical American bistro inside a hotel than a special Napa dining experience. Nothing wrong with it, but the atmosphere isn't particularly noteworthy. Overall, it was a decent breakfast and convenient being at the hotel, but I'd come back primarily for the avocado toast.
