I was able to get an estimation of the cost for everything the day I made the appointment. I'm so glad I was able to make a claim through my insurance which saved me a lot of money. The shop is located near the airport. The waiting room was clean and a decent size. Their is free wifi, water dispenser, and coffee machine. The woman's restroom was clean which is big plus for me. I got to my appointment an hour early but I was still able to check in. I received text updates while I waited which it took about 2 hours. My technician did a great job! Told me that because the at fault drivers insurance sent my car to another body shop for their estimate and I said that I *thought* they had removed bumper to see hidden damage. Gerber stated that I HAD to use that body shop - specially that I am "not allowed" to go to another body shop, even though I'm paying cash myself. They refused to even look at car for estimate and immediately cancelled my appointment. Other guys Insurance company gave me full payout since their estimate was more than the other guys policy limit. That means - I'm paying cash so not sure why a Tesla approved shop won't touch the car because another shop already looked at it. That's wild because they weren't even going to be working with insurance. (Btw I called other body shop again and they actually did not remove the bumper to look for hidden damage after all). ‍ I was just trying to find recommended body shop for my Tesla since I'm paying for repairs myself. All to be given back to me with extensive damage caused by them during the repair process, as well as all of the original repair areas not completed. My truck went back in for corrections when they told me they damaged my headliner and would not be able to replace the part themselves. They then offered to pay me for the part and repair once I provided a repair order detailing the cost. Once provided, Gerber has ceased all communication with me, has not replied to emails, phone calls, or voicemails and payment has not been received. Insurance will not get involved due to the damage being caused by Gerber, and not from the initial accident. Years ago under different ownership (sigs) they were trustworthy and took pride in their work. Now.... Not so much. I gave them countless chances to make things right, and tried to show some aloha before I made this review. But enough is enough.

Mike said bring it in, I didn't even ask what he does or what's included, the price seemed right and I wash and wax my own cars over the last 30 years, I thought I know how to detail a car. So I take my car in the morning, tell him I want it detailed. I figured I know what to expect, but when I come back in the afternoon the car is next level shiney and new. I was looking around to see if there is another car like mine in the shop because this was not the same car. He does so much more than expected, all the little things that I assumed can't be included because not enough time he some how gets it done. Chips and scratches that I assumed were perminant were gone and the paint was flawless. The interior which I thought was in good shape is now spectacular I thought faded was a natural color and is beyond repair but it now looks new again. The dash is now a deep rich color and the doors are slick but not greasy. My car went from nothing special to I love my car again and want to keep it. As a reminder to everyone who have a habit of leaving valuables in full view in their vehicle it is best to store these elsewhere. And everyone in the community should watch for one another and report suspicious activity such as a stranger riding around the parking lot where he has no business. That's what happened here in this case. That prior visit by this stranger was a thief scoping the property for items to steal later. Lisa replaced the broken glass with a used one (why replace it with a brand new one when the car itself is an older model?) and even cleaned up the mess. When he was about to remove the makeshift cover that he made she told him not to bother and she took it off for his safety. She even went beyond the call and tried to repair a part on the car. When my friend offered her additional money for the extra time and effort she turned it away. Al's Auto Glass & Radiator is now our go-to for car window repair. Lisa may not have a fancy shop but her mobile service is even better. She comes to you so you don't have to drive to a facility to drop off the vehicle and then come back to pick it up. Most of all, her quote, which she sticks with, was the lowest that I could find for my friend. Others charge more for their services. One thing I might want to add to those looking for service, I noticed that a few companies here do not even answer their phones or return calls after you leave a message. With Al's Auto Glass & Radiator you get first class service at your convenience and at the best price! He quoted me $80 for tint removal which I had an illegal tint, which did not pass inspection. He took approximately 2 hrs to remove it. But then I decided since I was there, I better tint the whole car with legal tint. He was going charge me $300 bucks for everything, but then up the price cause I used credit card, to $320, plus tax... came out $335.18...at first I gave him rave reviews. But the next day, I found out my car antenna got ripped apart, mind you, it was storming that day, and I just went home afterwards and parked in my garage. It's a new car, and was never broken to begin with.... I would not recommend him to anyone... sorry Alan.
