Just the gf and I and place gets packed quick, I think we got there around 9:45am. New breakfast spot close to home! Big shoutout from someone who works in food, everything was on point from the pancakes to biscuits and gravy to the salmon lox. Yummy!

Both dishes were flavorful and delicious. I was absolutely in love with the pancakes! They were gigantic, beautifully presented, and incredibly rich and satisfying. We were both very happy with our food. Our coffees, however, were just okay and not particularly memorable. The only downside, and the reason I'm taking off 1 star, was my bad experience with their seating policy. I had planned to stay for a while on a weekend to finish my coffee and get some work done. However, because the café was busy and completely full, a waitress politely came to my table and asked me to leave while I was in the middle of working. I understand that restaurants need to accommodate waiting customers, especially during busy hours, but I was still disappointed by the experience. I rarely have been asked to leave a café or coffee shop while I was in the middle of working. Because of this, I would probably choose another café in the future when I'm looking for a place where I can comfortably work for a while. That said, the food was fantastic, and I'd recommend coming here for the pancakes alone.

Even when busy they get you in, seated, and fed very quickly. And that's exactly what we are looking for on a Sunday morning; we got things to do! Our waitress understood the assignment and treated us well. As did the kitchen because our food was TASTY and really hit the spot. Portions?... big enough the fuel you all. day. long. While this spot is a bit further than I normally venture for breakfast it is worth the drive, without a doubt!

Although there were umbrellas, the rain was still dripping over the tables, but our server kept a positive attitude even though we weren't able to change our seats to be inside. My dad enjoyed his skillet, and I got a panini, and I'm amazed by the huge portion sizes. The panini was good, with juicy chicken and a delicious subtle apricot spread. The fries are huge as well, and super crispy. Buttermilk's pancakes are probably my favorite pancakes, as they are light, soft, fluffy, and subtly sweet. This was a good spot for a casual brunch with family.

The outdoor patio was cute and shielded from traffic with high wall dividers. Food wasn't the highlight, but I would come back to try other dishes. Chicken Wings $17 - 8 meaty wings, naked, skin was slightly crispy and caramelized. Salmon Poke Bowl $19 - Simple and straight forward salmon poke bowl. The fries were crispy and delicious. Another great dinner at Foxtail!…read more We had to come back to try more of the menu, and this time we ordered: * Pork belly bruschetta: 5/10. Unfortunately, this one wasn't for me. The pork belly, ciabatta, and balsamic were all good individually, but together the flavors just didn't work. It felt mismatched... * Colorado lamb kebab: 10/10. This is one of the more $$ entrées on the menu, but it's absolutely worth it. The portion was generous, the lamb was high quality, and the artichoke pesto paired really well with the rich, gamey flavor. The roasted pearl onions were a great addition too. I would definitely recommend this dish. * Foxtail paella: 8/10 flavorful orzo paella loaded with seafood. Definitely a sharing type of entree! Always a great time at Foxtail with great food and great service!

Our daughter is vegan, and she helped navigate her meal by making sure her breakfast (Market hash) was fully vegan ( no meat, no eggs, no butter on the bread)...all with a smile on her face, and a no problem attitude. I had the Fritatta Rustica; hubby had the traditional breakfast. My fritatta was overcooked, and as such very dry, but everything else was very good. The coffee was delish, and I love that they leave the pot on the table. Highly recommend First Watch. Would have been a five star review if not for the overcooked frittata.

For drinks, we started with the Tangerine Dream, which reminded me of an orange creamsicle, and the Morning Meditation, which definitely had more earthy flavors. Both drinks were really pretty in color and nicely presented. For food, we ordered the Million Dollar Bacon--it's a very specific flavor, but not bad at all. The brown sugar sweetness with a bit of spice worked well together. The Elevated Egg Sandwich was really good; the buns were soft, the avocado was well-seasoned, and the bacon was cooked perfectly. The potatoes were seasoned nicely, and the onions added extra flavor. The Smoked Salmon Frittata was okay--not my favorite. The potatoes were great, but the salmon didn't really pair well with the eggs in my opinion. We also got the chocolate chip pancakes to go, and those were delicious later on--super big and very satisfying. Our waiter was attentive throughout the meal, which made the experience even better. Overall, a solid spot with great drinks and some standout dishes.

You could drive right by thinking it was a vacant building except for all the cars in the lot. The notion of vacant building is dispelled immediately upon entry. The place is busy, loud, vibrant with customers clearly enjoying the food and experience. The interior is decorated simply, with muted colors, is well lit, and clean. There are a lot of hard surfaces which makes the ambient noise level fairly high; however, it did not detract from the experience (but just be advised in case you feel this is bothersome). We were greeted warmly and though the place was packed, we were seated quickly. Despite the diner-like vibe, there is no counter, just tables and booths. Our server was prompt, very pleasant, and efficient. The coffee was hot and flavorful. The food: Large portions, well prepared, warm, savory, satisfying. The loaded Cheers omelette, with hash browns and pancakes, was more food than I could enjoy in one sitting so I have leftovers for tomorrow. Prices are in line with more reasonably priced independent eateries. A two-egg, hash browns, pancake combo is $14. This place will be an option in the future.
