We went here on Mother's Day as our regular spot down the road (Thomi's) was packed. We were met by a young waiter right away and directed to a table. We were given our drinks in a reasonable time and then our order was taken. As is my habit with a new place, I glanced at my watch when he left to place our order. It took approximately 18 minutes to get our appetizer and 30 minutes for our main order, a hamburger and chef salad. The burger was dry and rather tasteless as though there were zero seasoning, not even salt. My wife said her salad was OK, no hardboiled egg, and nothing you couldn't whip up at home in about 5 minutes. No one came back to check on our food during the meal until the owner came by when we were almost finished. We told her everything was fine because we just wanted to leave. She asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks which were now nearly empty. She indicated she would send someone by to refill them. We saw no one until the waiter brought the check by without asking about a refill. This place needs to tighten up considerably before I would even think of going back. The best burgers in town? Try Thomi's or Mel's down the street.

When trying a new place, I always ask for a recommendation. The waiter recommended either the Bacon burger, or the Western Bacon BBQ burger. I tried the later and was stunned by how bland it was. It looked good, it wasn't missing anything, it was juicy and cooked properly, but it had absolutely no flavor. All I tasted was ground beef. The secondary flavor was bun. I have no idea how they pulled this off. It has bacon and BBQ sauce, how am I not tasting it over the bun and meat? Assuming I used all the same ingredients, I don't think I could reproduce such a bland burger if I tried. I only managed to eat half of it before my stomach was so full of dissapointment, I resigned myself to munching on the fries and bumming a bite of my girlfriends equally bland classic club. I did complain, though my complaints were met with a defensive tone as if there were something wrong with me. The lady said she never got any complaints. I suppose her customers just politely lied and didn't bother to return, considering it was dead on an early Sunday afternoon. My complaint did prompt a neighboring table to voice their dismay, echoing the same sentiment I did. Bland burger. "Needs more jazz" she said.

My Southwest Salad (chopped romaine lettuce, taco beef, tomatoes, avocado, olives, jalapeños, cojita cheese, tortilla strips with tapitio ranch dressing) was fresh and delicious. My husband's cheeseburger (1/3 lb angus beef patty, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, pickle, and mayonnaise) was cooked exactly as ordered and seasoned nicely. The side of fries was good, too. Staff were friendly. Our waitress checked in with us regularly. The dining area is spacious; boothes and tables were available.

This was mine and my daughter's first time here. After spending a little time scouting out some machines and playing for a little bit, my daughter and I and the rest of the family decided to have Lunch at Margaret's Cafe and Bakery. And we were definitely not disappointed. The host was a young man who had the most awesome service! Very friendly and very nice. He sat us in a booth which was definitely a major plus. We didn't have to wait long for our waitress to swing by and take our order. She was just as awesome as the Host up front! She was all smiley and friendly and she dug into some of our jokes and laughed. Dad has dietary needs and our waitress was very accommodating and helpful with that. Very thankful! Okay so... food. My sister ordered French fries for my daughter, herself, and I to share. Fries perfectly crunchy and perfectly seasoned. if there was salt on them fries I sure didn't notice! I ordered The Tuna Salad Sandwich. You get a choice of fries or a salad. since we already had fries at the table I opted for the house salad with Ranch dressing. HOLY GUACAMOLE! the Ranch they serve there is THE BEST! The. Best! the size of the salad was a good size too! (woulda loved a bit more crouton bc those things were good too)! The Tuna Salad Sandwich was very tasty. I totally enjoyed the wheat bread. The tuna salad was perfectly seasoned followed by the great onion crunch within the sandwich itself. Portions are huge! I was only able to eat half of it. will I be back?! oh yes! there are other things on the menu I want to try! So if you like great service with a smile and some good food--this is the spot at Jackson Rancheria!

I got the white chocolate raspberry latte and it's a June special called the pretty Patty. They were extremely busy and there was a bit of weight for the coffee. This is probably one of the best coffee shops in the area and there's always a line about 10 to 20 deep almost at all times until about noon. this is definitely your go to spot when you come to Murphy's for coffee.
