In a place like the Bay Area where boba shops are everywhere, I probably wouldn't have visited this one--if not for the super hyped Labubu drink I kept seeing on social media. So I came to check it out, and... well, the Labubu jelly was honestly more creepy than cute . It's basically a jelly side topping that looks kinda weird but makes for a fun photo. Overall, it's a one-time novelty experience. Glad I tried it for the 'gram, but I don't think I'd come back.

Service is kind of slow most of the days, even on weekends there were only 2 staffs but lot of people were waiting. I had the pineapple cloud, it's refreshing. The Thai tea was just mediocre, not authentic.

Came here on a hot day hoping to drink something refreshing. The space is pretty nice with AC and plenty of seating. Ordering only happens on a kiosk and then you get your order in a few mins. I was surprised there were no passion fruit seeds (there was literally 1), nor apple slices (as advertised). When drinking the drink it tastes more syrupy than a refreshing fruit flavor. I'm not sure if its just this location or overall cutbacks but a little surprised this drink was missing those ingredients . A little disappointed that this location tastes like this for $7 boba drink. I've tried drinks at their Elk Grove and Fremont locations and the fruit drinks tasted less syrupy. Music got super chaotic (dubstep-ish vibes) so had to bounce.

I came on a Sunday after brunch and was in a bit of a hurry, but was able to order and get my drink pretty quickly. The inside of the shop is super cute and aesthetic. I got the Matcha Latte with 75% sugar, no ice and Oatly oat milk. I love that you can adjust the sugar, ice and milk options with the boba here! The matcha itself was delicious and is ceremonial grade matcha. I found it to be on the sweeter side with 75% (I usually go for less sugar around 25%), but if you enjoy slightly sweeter matcha lattes, I recommend 75%. Overall, I enjoyed my boba and will be back to get it again and try other items in the menu!

I ordered the Tie Guan Yin and Da Hong Pao milk tea at 25% sweetness. The Tie Guan Yin has a light roasty taste to its similar hojicha but lighter. The Da Hong Pao has a bit of a nutty taste to me. The tea was a bit watered down for both of them, but the flavor was good if you like your tea on the lighter side. For me I wished it was a bit stronger. Unfortunately mouthfeel isn't very creamy, which was a bit of surprise since they use Straus milk is known for the rich and creaminess. Their Fremont location is pretty good the last time I had it. A lot more developed flavors.

Another new tea place in Cupertino -- interior was very modern and lounge-y but there were not that many seats if you actually wanted to lounge. There were also a few seats outside, but no heat lamp for after the sun sets. It was also very odd that they didn't have anywhere to order with a staff member at all (most places have both options so staff can help out when it gets busy), so you don't interact with staff at all except when they call out your order number when your drink is ready. And there was also only a single self-ordering kiosk which meant the line to order took quite a while. Overall, they have an interesting selection of drinks, I would come back to try a few specialty options that not every place has. This time around I got the dirty boba matcha latte, which was just a matcha latte with boba. It was tasty and not too sweet, but with a good matcha flavor. Parking is usually ok (behind) here since it's a fairly large shared lot, but might get trickier during peak dining hours.

Came for the frozen fruit ice cream but sold out so tried their tea. I appreciated that they had some unique options on their menu and ended up getting an oolong tea with Jasmine jelly which was really tasty. There wasn't anything particularly special about the tea, but I can see this locations as a cute meet up or date spot. Order was taken via iPad, so there's no opportunity to interact with folks. Bright, and well lit with some outdoor seating. Definitely gives "lounge" vibes.

I've gone to the Fremont location twice and tried their strawberry cloud and grape cloud. I expected this new location to be crowded on a Saturday evening but it was pretty empty. Interior was clean and modern. This time I wanted to try their milk tea so I got the Kyoto milk tea with honey boba. Ordered at the kiosk and my drink came out in less than 5 mins. I enjoyed the puff cream part especially for my drink. Overall a good drink and would return to try their other options!

Jasmine Iced Fresh Tea and Honey Gyokuro Green Milk Tea with Panna Cotta

One of the best milk tea shops in the bay area! You can smell the tea in the air when you walk into the shop. Online ordering on their website via Toast made it very quick. You have the option to order in store from their ordering tablet. Overall, there is a strong tea taste for their tea drinks. All drinks come in a large size cup. You can adjust sugar (0% to 125%) and ice levels (less to extra) to your liking. Honey Gyokuro Green Milk Tea is a rich flavored green tea that has honey instead of cane sugar. Was a creamy drink where you could tell the difference regular green tea and gyokuro green tea. Gyokuro itself is tea that's grown in the shade, which results in a different flavor in comparison to regular green tea. The panna cotta is thick and holds its shape. It is similar to a pudding texture. For best distribution in the drink, it's best to have it detach from the bottom of the cup by flipping/shaking the cup before drinking. Rose Tea Lounge is a great place to go for good quality tea and is reasonably priced in comparison to other shops in the area!

A personal favorite of mine in Elk Grove, Rose Tea Lounge has finally come to the South Bay Area! My friend and I came here on a holiday weekday afternoon and found the boba shop filled with customers & people working with their boba at the tables. The aesthetics are the same as the other locations; there is a modern and minimalistic feel with prominent black and white tones around the shop. I ordered my favorite Matcha Marble, and my friend ordered the Strawberry Cloud Ice Blended. The Matcha Marble was creamy and had a strong matcha taste that I liked, as usual. My friend was not a fan of his drink at 75% sweetness, but he is willing to give this location another try! For me, I have been a fan of this boba business and will continue to try their different bobas at different locations.

I was surprised on how much I liked this place. The tea flavor is good and the boba is tasty. They have a large variety and overall I thought the quality of the drink was very good. You order on an iPad so there isn't too much interaction with staff. You can chill there and there's also outdoor seating as well too.

    Creme brulee boba latte ($6.50)
    Rachel L.

One of my fav boba chains & Im happy they've opened another location in the Bay Area! I've loved them since the Fremont location and this location is no different. My favorite drinks I've tried are the mango ice blended drink, peach ice blended drink, and the creme brulee latte drink with boba. The boba is so good! Perfect texture and sweetness & it's warm! 50% sweet on all drinks is perfect for me. Just like the fremont location, you also order on a kiosk here. During soft opening, they took quite awhile to get orders out on the day I went. I also came during grand opening for their BOGO free deal, and they were super quick that day. Inside is super clean and sleek. Overall, great chain that I recommend everyone try out!

Good place next to Starbird and has AC and outdoor tables and nice clean bathroom. Only one kiosk to order from and a bit of a wait. I got the peach smoothie and that was really good with real chucks of peach. The matcha was also good. I would come here again.

I ordered the Yumberry Yogurt Drink, Peach Gum Drink, and Grape Yogurt Drink. I got all of them at 30% sweetness, and they were still pretty sweet, so I'd recommend ordering them with even less sugar if you prefer drinks that aren't overly sweet. Even though they're always busy with orders, it wasn't crowded inside. I was able to find a seat since most people just grab their drinks and leave. The drinks are very fruit-forward and taste incredibly fresh and high quality. If you enjoy fruity drinks, this place is definitely worth trying. My favorite was the Yumberry Yogurt Drink because it was so unique--I've never had anything quite like it before. It reminded me a bit of a mulberry drink with a creamy yogurt twist, and I'd definitely order it again.
