My daughter and son-in-law took me to this restaurant on my birthday. First time for me, and as a Thai cuisine enthusiast, I was grateful for their choice. The ambience, the impeccable service, and the food were absolutely amazing!Fresh ingredients, so flavorful that you feel them literally explode in your mouth and you savor each bite. We had potstickers for appetizer, and ordered three different pad Thai dishes for main course. It was a Thursday and the restaurant was very busy with both customers and takeout orders. Best Thai Food Outside of Thailand! We got there and every seat was taken, except two at a long bench. Room was made for us. They were so popular that they also were out of menus, but when the couple across from us was done looking we were handed their menu. We were quickly brought water. The people who work at Charm are very nice and friendly and attentive. Everyone was happy, everyone was happy to wait, as the food is so good. The vibe was one of happiness as everyone was happy with their food. As the people near us were brought piles of food, everyone nearby who was still waiting for their food swiveled their heads, asking, 'what is that?' and 'what is THAT?' because everything just looked so darn good, and people wanted to order some of what we were seeing. Looking around the room, however, it appeared that one could not go wrong ordering pretty much anything on the menu. Everything is about $15, with rare exceptions, which is fantastic. The serving sizes are large and overall it's much better bang for your buck than most places these days. The temperature was comfortably warm. The Pad See-ew is just as good as what I had in Thailand. That is saying A LOT. I have not found any other restaurant in the U.S. - despite much searching - of which I could say this. Simply spectacular. The crab-fried rice is incredibly delicious, with a wonderful, surprising meld of textures and flavors not evident to the idea. If you request fish sauce, they bring it out for you. The green curry was pretty good. It was not spectacular, but it was still very good. They make it pretty mild as default unless you ask for spicy, which I forgot to do, so perhaps that is why. The steamed pot stickers were just okay, kind of bland. Five stars for the food. Tried the pad prik with pork, kra proa with beef, and pad prik king with shrimp; all three dishes were full of flavors and had good portion of meat. The pineapple fried rice also had good taste but the rice texture wasn't the best, still a fine dish. Now the point deduction- the restaurant gets quite busy, so I just wanted to order to go. But the phone number does not work and the website does not take orders. I ended up walking in to make my order and waited 35 min in the car. So pack your patience with this place. read more

My wife got her bowl dinner last friday night the 18th and i got mine a half an hour later, she was done and had to wait while I tried to hurry mine along. Friends of ours were seated much later than us and had a bigger dinner than us, and were done and gone before I received mine. We had seen a episode of All Across Oregon with Vinny and It looked great but was extremely disappointed, food wasn't as good as 2 of our favorites in the valley. read more

Saw this fairly new Thai restaurant profiled on Vinny's YT show- All Across Oregon. There are always a few standard dishes I try when I go to a new Thai restaurant. I started with a Thai Iced Tea which was made just right. My friend and I had the Chicken Satay and the Pot Stickers (steamed) for starters. I enjoyed both especially the Satay as did my friend. For our entrée, I had the Pad Thai; he had the Masaman Curry. Both were delicIous. While we polished off the appetizers first, we still had enough left over of our entrées for lunch/dinner tomorrow! I would highly recommend Charm Thai Kitchen. I'm moving to the Rogue Valley towards the end of summer, and this will be my go-to Thai place! read more

We ate there anticipating a great meal. We ordered an appetizer that was sliced from a roll and deep fried. It was inedible and burned. For an entree we each had a curry, one yellow and one red. They were very bland and of low quality compared to other curries we have had at other restaurants. The place was packed by the time we left so maybe we made poor choices. I hadn't been in before, so I asked my server, who was very nice, what he recommended and I went with the dish called Baa-Mee-Moo-Dang, the Coconut Shrimp and a Thai Iced Tea. Very cute aesthetic, the server was way too sweet, the Som Tam Thai was the best I've had yet (my mouth is still on fire ) the coconut shrimp was so good I forgot to take a picture! I've been looking everywhere from ashland to grants pass for someone who can perfect the (Thai version) of papaya salad and that was a portion big enough to share. We went back to Charm a month ago. I asked the owner to make something yummy with seafood and pan fried noodles. Bon made the most outrageous big bowl of such, and the noodles were those huge, thick ones that I immediatly noticed had a subtle smokey aftertaste (which Bon actually mentioned to me after we finished the meal). Definitely worth checking this place out! Food quality and flavors were very good - some of the best Thai food I've had in the valley. Our server (we later found out was one of the owners) was extremely friendly and did a great job helping us order. The kitchen does need to dial in their timing a bit - dishes came out somewhat slow and one at a time - in seemingly random order. Luckily, the three of us intended to share everything we ordered, so it worked out pretty well, but other tables didn't seem as easy going about it as we were. Easily a 5 star rating once the kitchen gets rolling smoothly. Also, I highly recommend trying the lemonade and Thai iced tea - both are fantastic! read more

I have eaten at most of the Thai restaurants in the valley and Charm Thai is one of the best I've tried. It's a fairly new spot so it was great to see nearly every table full when I dined there the other night. Everyone I talked to on my way out also said that Charm Thai ranks up with the best of them and is a must try spot if you like authentic Thai food. We stopped at this mall to get lunch on our way to Northern California. We ordered pad Thai , pad see ew, kra prao fried rice, boat noodles. This is the best Thai restaurant in S Oregon. I have to say it is even better than a lot of Thai restaurants in Nor Cal. They use real Thai ingredients seasoning and cook exactly the way Thai cuisine should be. We enjoyed the food so much. If you love pad thai, its noodles properly seasoned (perfect chew), green onions, egg not obnoxiously over cooked and well combined, just - oh so palatable- so scrumptious! I had it with shrimp. The shrimps so perfectly prepared - not rubbery - then lightly tossed with the peanutty, mild spiced red sauce - and this grand taste-tournament winning pad thai noodle glory - did I mention- scrumptious?
