This is one of the best restaurants we've tried in the area, as far as quality, variety and value are concerned. Their menu is extensive! I ordered the fish on a bed (blackened salmon) and it was a huge salad for only $9. The service was great -- pleasant and quick. Just ate at Chase & Charli's tonight. Excellent food! We both had the Caribbean Jerk Chicken. I had it with asparagus and onion peels, and my wife had asparagus and mushrooms. The chicken was beautifully seasoned and the asparagus was nicely cooked. The serving was large enough I couldn't eat it all. Chase & Charli's deserves your visit. Ours was most enjoyable. read more

Let me first state, that this could have been a 3 or 4 star review. My family visited here 9/6/16, and we ordered three meals. Two were good, but the third, mine, was awful. The French fries arrived soggy, and the chicken tenders were undercooked. Still, for all of that, I would have left a 3, or maybe even a 4 star, review. However, it was the complete lack of concern for the fact that I had been served a bad meal, that 'earned' it but a single star. If a customer tells you that a meal was terrible, a half-hearted 'sorry about that', is not the way to go. Perfect spot for a quick lunch as we are passing by on spring break. Grilled chicken sandwich, jalapeno burger (great burger variety), Korean beef wrap, and a blackened salmon salad (wife was a big fan of the blackening seasoning, we do a lot of that at the house on the grill). Amazing food! I have eaten there numerous times, and the service and food has always been superb! I have gotten crispy hot wings, chicken tenders, (I love chicken) and wraps and burgers. But trust me, that's not all! My brother loves the crab cakes, he says some of the best he's had. My mom likes the mushroom swiss burger, and my dad loves the 1/2 pound of peep n' eat shrimp. Wow. We were seated at a table near the front they were having a private party in the back and a table of 6. Other than a few at the bar the restaurant was empty. The hostess even said "How about this table ? It will almost be like dining alone". He laughed. We ordered our food. About five minutes passed and A couple came I and sat near us. A while later another 4 people came in. I ordered a salad with my dinner and my spouse ordered the shrimp and grits. The couple got their food. The six in the back got their food. I still never even got a salad. The waitress kept passing back and forth. There was 2 waitresses for the four tables. Still no food. The foursome got their food and I still never got a salad! And one of them got shrimp and grits!!! Here comes the waitress zip. Passed our table and I was like "you have got to be kidding me". Here she comes again and I am ready to ask if I can at least have my salad but before I can speak she is saying "your food should be ready in a few minutes". And poof she was gone. Not EVEN the courtesy to stop and listen. My spouse left 5$ on the table for my glass of tea and we left. We saw no less than 2 manager/owners milling around. I mean slow service is one thing and it's understandable at times but it's not slow service when tables come in after you and they get served before you even get a salad. I've worked nicer restaurants than this and that behavior is totally unacceptable. read more

The food was excellent! The service not so good ....the waitress seemed bothered that we arrived at 4pm said we couldn't order any specials...She forgot to bring our salads...I ordered crab dip and crab legs excellent and filling although i would have liked a place to put my shells...my son had the crab cakes loved them. We was gonna go to red lobster being it was my birthday celebration but we didn't want to drive that far....the waitress promised a birthday dessert but didn't even check back we had to get our own to go boxes and we all at the table would have liked another cocktail but she never came back...i guess it was a one drink limit... Never even picked up our plates or offered a dessert..so what could have been a 125.00 dinner ended up a 70.00 dinner...her loss. read more

Available for immediate seating outside on a warm April Saturday evening. Nice atmosphere, good menu, I had a ribeye and it was properly cooked - the side salad was plentiful and good, but the baked potato lacked something, It was cooked but kind of gummy inside, perhaps cooked a day ahead and rewarmed? Service was good, atmosphere as well (other than one guy who thought he was out of the way sneaking a cigarette). There was an oscillating fan blowing back and forth and I'll guess that's to keep any insects away being as it's right on that little river. Didn't bother me but it may others. The wife enjoyed her crab cakes, and the brisket mentioned in another review (we apparently sat near that couple) looked nice and was a very generous portion. I'd go back, and it's nice to find local places that do a decent job and care about it rather than the chains staffed by bored people who often don't. read more
