Good flame-broiled burgers but WAY overpriced for the area. The last time I paid over $16 for a burger, I was in Manhattan. For two double burgers and two drinks, the cost was $41 before tax. We also had some cauliflower bites but since most people are looking for burgers, I'll just post the cost of those. However, I do not recommend the cauliflower bites because after deep frying, they cover with hot sauce, which makes the breading soggy and who wants to eat soggy breaded cauliflower? Service was fine but they have the annoying tip screen come up at the ordering register (no table-side waiters). I mean, really, what am I tipping you for at this point? For taking my order? Note that they charge you 4% for using your credit or debit card instead of cash. When you consider the already sky-high prices, 4% is even more meaningful. Anyway, the interior is nice for a fast-casual burger joint. In summary, it seems like a nice place with cordial workers but I don't think we'll be back due to the high prices. I can go to Burger King for a flame-broiled burger. In fact, they taste exactly the same. read more

The OG Borracho burger masquerades as a sinful delight, but also heavenly resuscitation for someone needing flavour and nutrition the morning after drinks. The first thing you taste is the spicy, smoky chipotle aioli that stands tall on the tips of your taste buds. Next comes a buffet of savoury meats for your taste buds, including beef, bacon, and chorizo. These strong, meaty flavours come together to make up a unique umami taste. The menu has few options between burgers, chicken sandwiches, and salads. I ordered the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich, which I thought was decent. The chicken itself was good very very well. It was nice and juicy and very flavorful, but I wish the it was served with more of the sauce it came with. It also came with pineapple My boyfriend got a green Chile burger mediocre. He did get the carne asada fries which were my favorite out of everything. The regular seasoned fries are seasoned with something like Tajin which is a limey seasoning. This place is kind of hard to see from the road but worth the stop. I came here today to grab lunch and ordered the bbq pulled pork. Absolutely phenomenal hamburger. I ordered the #1 which is the regular that comes with fries (drink is ordered separately). Completely unexpected quality of taste. Plus, there was a lack of "heaviness" from the hamburger and fries. It comes with pickles, which I despise, but it's my fault for forgetting to let them know to keep those off. Cooks or cashiers or whatever their titles were are are extremely fast too which was very surprising considering the quality. Side note: server/cashier/? warned me about bleach on the table since he noticed I was wearing my hockey jersey, so the kindness is appreciated. I really love this place! The service and timing are stellar and I've enjoyed it both times I've been here. Most recently, my boyfriend got the chicken pesto sandwich with sweet potato fries and I got the chipotle bbq chicken sandwich with a side salad. Both were stellar! The chicken is grilled which makes it even better, but it's seasoned so well even before you add the other sauces and such, it's fantastic. I am not a big hamburger fan but in my quest to try a non-franchise local spot stumbled on this place. I had wanted to meet a coworker for lunch but it's closed on Mondays. Friday evening however, my daughter and I stopped by for a bite. It's a cute place with lots of bustle and hustle while we were there. It was so busy in fact, that while we did not have to wait long yo place our order, the wait for our food seemed about 20 or 30 minutes long. I don't hold that against them though because the ladies working the front counter were SUPER understanding and kind. Once we got our food we realized why this is a happening place. You can literally smell and taste the charbroil in the patties. I may be a hamburger convert. I am pretty sure the fries are homemade too. The prices were decent, you can grab some brew and even sit outside and people watch. My only suggestion is on the churros. We tried one but found it very hard and almost stale. Not fresh. Overall, I will reschedule my meeting (not on a Monday) with a coworker so they can check out this place with great burgers and lots of taste! read more

Went on a random weekday. Got the fish tacos. They weren't..my favorite. The seating area was very nice aside from the dusty fake flowers on the table. Loved that they had high chairs for kids. My husband got the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Which he said was good. Service was a bit slow but not annoying slow just saw us walk in and had to wait a bit to order is all. After reading all the rave reviews about this place, I say myself, I says.. "Self, we really oughta check this place out and see if it lives up to the hype." I did. It does. One of the biggest compliments this place receives is for their burgers. Now, I don't consider myself to be a burger connoisseur or anything. But I know what I like. I like the fact that they are clearly flame broiled because this means you won't have 10 gallons of grease seap out the back upon each bite. They use some special sauce in their classic burger, which...I can only describe as...sweet, but sour? I dunno. It was fine. I just wish I had remembered to ask for mine without pickles. That's another thing. Evidently, the menu doesn't describe every ingredient that's put on each burger. So, I'll tell you it's the usual suspects: lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. Also, the menu clearly states that all burgers are cooked medium well. This is interesting, but it only makes me wonder...could a patron request to have a burger cooked a different way? Or are they all cooked this way automatically in order to avoid a potential lawsuit? This is a minor point, but it's a question worth asking. The fries. Aah, the fries. They're seasoned with, what I can only describe as....the seasoning they use on Cool Ranch Doritos. At least, that's how it tasted to me. They're...alright, I guess. I finished all of them, if that says anything. Overall, everything was fine. Though I wish I had gone for the single classic instead of the double. Because now I feel like I'm having a food coma. Also, the decorum is okay. Though fair warning: the interior is smaller than what you'd imagine a gnome's kitchen would be. Ya know....if gnomes were real. Would I go back? Totally! - Got a message from Chase the taste stating they have tried what I have suggested on my original post, and it is not necessary yet "Thank you for my input." So, I guess what they mean is that their customers waiting for a long time for food, running out of drinks and the actual restaurant not getting more orders because staff is unable to keep up with the orders is standard. They choose for the customers experience to be that way. Chase the Taste gets a 4.5 for taste. But, it was Friday night, they were busy I was hungry, we were expecting table service only 3 people were working in the restaurant the waitress/cashier was doing her best and... well, we waited for our food long enough that we needed extra drinks. So, I stand up, get in line ... wait, ordered 2 drafts ... expected to get them right there and then, when the sweet hardworking cashier/waitress said "I'll take them to your table." I sat, waited, ate, waited, we were done with the food, and then we she came by she said she was waiting to get the beer glassware washed. She went to wash them and brought us our beer. The cashier/waitress was working at 130% and with a great attitude so the reason I am giving Chase the Taste a 3 out of 5 is because this is not a brand new location which all of the sudden gained lots of costumers on a Friday night. It is lack of planning and lack of care. They need additional staff. A formal cashier, a formal waiter/waitress and a busser at least for the weekends. Not a cashier/waitress/busser for the whole restaurant. I get it, possibly their additional person called off, but at least on this first visit of mine I would have likely enjoyed my meal much more, ordered more drinks and even dessert if the staff was adequate for the demand. read more

We stopped in on a whim and we're so glad that we did. My husband said his burger was spiced great and was delicious. We both loved their spiced fries - and I'm picky because I HAVE to have crispy fries. These were some of the best that we've had in ages. I tried the pulled pork sandwich and was pleasantly impressed by the quality and taste. I can easily say it is the best pulled pork sandwich that I have ever had in a restaurant. I want to bottle up the BBQ sauce they use and take it home. I despise fat and gristle in my meat, but this sandwich was pure delight- it was moist, flavorful and fatty free. The coleslaw on top was fresh and crunchy. The sliced sweet pickles were a fun added surprise. The only downfall was Pepsi instead of Coke.
