There's a good amount of seating. Which works well since they frequently host different type of watch parties. The food ranges from top notch to okay. Pretzel is by far the best thing on the menu. And the burger is lack luster. All the employees are patient and understanding. read more

Food service took over two hours and other people walked out while waiting. When eventually served, the food and beer was good, but it came out staggered over another hour and we were out of drinks by then. Whole place only had one chef and two waitresses, couldn't handle everyone there. Management comped our meal only after our waitress was going to cover it. read more

We sat outside on the front patio with the dog and had a few beers and some food. Beers were on point, especially the Hot Mama habanero lager. and the pretzel was delicious and filling. We went in April 2018 and the menu was a lot more extensive, but the food was delicious. We went this week and there were maybe 5 things on the menu and it took 30 minutes for just the appetizer and another 30+ minutes for our meal. One of the meals came out after everyone else had finished eating. Don't come here if you're in a rush, but sit back and enjoy the beer. They made it right by comping some of the ticket. read more

We were in Chattanooga for a short visit and stopped in for a drink and a snack. The BF got a flight of beer and I got a cider (not a beer drinker and they do not have wine or liquor). The staff was really friendly, attentive and were very knowledgeable about their beer and food. When we told them we were visiting and wanted to try other local beer, they were happy to name some other local spots to try. It's always nice when businesses support each other. We ordered the hot pretzel and the chicken tenders. I think that pretzel was one of the best I have ever eaten. It was really light and almost flaky on the outside. The chicken tenders were homemade - not those prepackaged mystery meat tenders. Both were delicious. I would highly recommend stopping by Chattanooga Brewing if you are in the area. Cool space that was walking distance from the hotel we stayed at. Outdoor off-leash dog area is a huge plus and one of the main reasons we chose to come. Service was great and the Pretzel we had was yummy too. We were surprised how not crowded it was for a Friday night and tbh that was another plus for us:) The habanero beer was very good. Hill Street IPA was amazing. And surprisingly they have a lovely cider that packs a good buzz (6% or so). We would reccomend this place and would come back if we were locals! read more

I visited yesterday with friends and my daughter. I give the food a 4.5, and the rest a 3. Most of us really enjoyed our food. The salad with avocado, pickled cauliflower and carrots was a lovely surprise. Absolutely balanced mix of textures and flavors and freshness. The fries were outstanding. My friends gave high marks to the fish po boy and buffalo chicken wrap. My daughter devoured the Mexican wings but pronounced them just ok. I found the brownie dry, but I didn't have it with the ice cream and since I prefer a nutty, chewy square, it's just not my favorite type. The beer drinkers were satisfied and we were content with basic canned sodas. We sat outside, where we had to contend with the smell of garbage wafting intermittently. The music came and went. At the time of COVID-19, we all have to manage our expectations, so I'd try it again. read more

Nice people that work here actually will come up and talk to you. I got the "flight" which is a 7 samples of beers for $6. They are all good and are actually made and brewed here. Yeah this is a definite recommend for anybody that likes beer and breweries. They actually have tours here on the weekends . Tours are during the day so get here early. read more

LOVED stopping through town at this brewery! Traveling from Florida to Wisconsin, this would be a place we go out of our way for to visit again. The staff is so incredibly friendly. They helped us decide what to drink + eat and were available for any questions we had. Every single beer (yes, tried them all) is fabulous. Probably the best wit I've had at a brewery lately. The food is delicious (this is a Wisconsin girl talking about the southern fried cheese curds they had!). Be sure to stop in for a while, drink all the beers, get all the stickers and a shirt! Barry has been in the Chattanooga restaurant/brewery scene for more than 10 years, so he knows what it takes to make a place not just successful, but memorable. This brewery vibe is comfortable, conversational and most importantly, consistent. The beer is not over flashy with a lot of complicated flavors because great beer is not complicated. CBC nails straight forward flavor and does it well. Even their food is straight forward with emphasis on the important things patrons desire -- taste, quality and value. We were not greeted upon walking in and it was rather confusing figuring out if we were to just seat ourselves or wait and be seated. Ended up having to order everything at the bar then seat ourselves. The food was average late night bar food, which was disappointing for a brewery as large as this one. My hamburger came out really dry and my husband's wings were on the rubbery side. However, the pretzel was pretty good. We tried Chestnut Street Brown Ale, Hill City IPA, and Pale Rider all were good, but nothing over the top. read more

We come to CBC quite frequently. My husband loves craft beer and I love their pretzels made from left over beer grains & oats. So you can imagine my disappointment when we brought family to CBC & order pretzels to find normal pretzels served and not their amazing ones. I asked the server and she said they switched bakeries. My husband walked up and asked if they had any ciders on tap. It was a request for me, his wife, who isn't a beer drinker but goes to breweries because he loves them. The bartender said Nope but that they usually have one. Didn't give a single suggestion so my husband asked if they had any cans or anything and the bartender gave him an annoyed look and said no and left the bar. It was super awkward. I was really prepared to like this place. It had a cool vibe and they make their own beer - what's not to like? We came in and sat down, we had selected beers we wanted to know more about so we asked our server. Every question he answered with a why-are-you-wasting-my-time attitude. My daughter asked about a lager and he said gruffly "look it just tastes like bud light and every other light beer. Nothing to tell." I asked about the beer brewed with habanero peppers. I got the sense that he was both annoyed by being asked and clearly didn't want me to order the pepper flavored beer. So I ordered it. On one of his visits back to the table, I told him I'm was enjoying by beer. He literally turned and walked away, then said with his back to me, "gotcha" He clearly wanted me to know that he could not care less if I was enjoying my beer. I'm assuming this guy was the owner. You have to own the place to feel safe treating people this way. We were going to stay for another round or two and eat dinner, but it seemed clear that all of us (server mostly) would be happier if we moved along. Visited Chattanooga to check out some of their local breweries. Chattanooga was definitely on our list to try out. It was a nice location and they had a lot of beers to choose from. They have good pricing on their pours. We wanted to try all of them so my fiancé and I shared a 4 oz pour on all their beers. My favorite was the Chestnut Street Brown. We also had an order of sweet potato fries while we were tasting the beers. When we were there the service did seem kinda slow out of no fault of their own. It seems like the bartenders also take the orders of the people that are sitting down by the tables and at the bar. It's definitely worth a try if you've never been there before. read more

I met some friends here last week to catch up before going to the farmers market. We enjoyed ourselves. Two of us enjoyed the Wayne White Ale. It wasn't too noisy to enjoy conversation while sitting in the middle at one of the high top tables. The beer was light with just a hint of citrus after taste. Another friend tried the new cider on the menu and dug it. Might have to try the Milk Stout Brownie next time. read more

We came here after a long day of being tourists. The drinks and atmosphere were just what I needed. I did the beer flight and wish I'd kept the list of beers that I tried. I remember my favorite was the hefeweizen and I also like the Imperial Pilsner. Our waitress was friendly and provided good service. The food was delicious; I had the hummus wrap. We tried the Calavera Black Lager, Snowbird Session (Winter Session Ale) , Mad Priest Coffee Milk Stout and the Varnedoe Cave Imperial Stout. The Snowbird was by far my favorite. I think Rusty agreed - he's a Stout guy and the Imperial was STOUT! The best part was Tom - he was knowledgeable and helped this beer novice make a good choice He had me try a few before he poured my pint!
