My to go order; they put the ice separately
    Jenny T.

Che Vi is the dessert I never thought I would like. I'm not even a big fan of Che. I happen across this place because I went out with my girlfriends and they highly recommended coming here. So far I've been here twice and both times have been equally delicious. I ordered the coconut and flan. It comes with a little flan, refreshing, soft pieces of coconut, jellies, ice, all in a sweet milk. It's so addicting! If you're taking it away, they will put the ice separately in a ziplock bag. Store is quaint and clean, service is efficient and sweet.

I like their Coconut Special. The combination of coconut milk, jelly, and flan made for a refreshing dessert with lots of different textures. What I liked most was that it wasn't overly sweet, which can be hard to find with chè. The ingredients tasted fresh, and everything felt well-balanced rather than loaded with sugar. Portions were generous and perfect for sharing, though I had no problem finishing mine myself. The shop was clean, service was quick, and they have a huge variety of chè, drinks, and Vietnamese desserts to choose from. If you're looking for something cool and refreshing, this shop is worth a stop.

Review 67/365 Day Challenge I love Che. My girlfriend took mee here. It was pretty busy with incoming foot traffic. I love that their che isn't overly sweet and perfected. They give you a bag of ice for your che to enjoy. What we ordered ~ A16 thai is yummy. The durian is optional. You can request it w no Durian but it's actually good w it. It's not overly powerful. The smell of the durian. A little on the sweeter side but still good. ~ A11 Avocado is yummy. Has actual chunks of avocado pieces. Really good and also fulfilling. Definitely recommended for Avocado lovers. ~ Pandan tofu is really yum. Isn't sweet and really yum. Really spacious and cute seatings table, w benches seatings along the wall & they were setting up small wooden table and stools outside while i was dining w my Gfren. Same plaza as 85 Degrees, Pho Lover, Lollicup boba shop to name a few. Right in end of corner near McDonald's. Lots of parking out front.

I'm glad we decided to try the chè here. Compared to Bake & Che, this spot offers a wider variety of dessert options. The interior is quite spacious, with vibrant yellow and green chairs that create a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a Vietnamese café. We ordered the Mango Chè and Thai Chè. The Mango Chè leaned more toward a smooth mango purée with fewer fresh mango cubes than expected, while the Thai Chè was exactly what I had hoped for. One thoughtful touch was the presentation--the ice was served separately, allowing the dessert portion to remain generous without being diluted or taking up space in the bowl. The only downside was the seating area along the side wall. Several of the seat cushions appeared quite worn and noticeably dirty, which detracted from the overall dining experience. As a bonus, the loyalty program is easy to use through the Toast app. Simply enter your phone number after purchase to start earning points and rewards.

FOOD - Coconut & Flan: pandan leaf jelly, coconut jelly, crystal pearls, tofu, and flan in coconut milk. This was probably one of the best che I've had. It was so good and refreshing. It had the perfect amount of sweetness. 5/5 SERVICE: Fast and friendly. When you order to-go, you get a bag of ice to keep your che cool. 5/5 FINAL THOUGHTS: I'm adding this to one of my must-have places when in SoCal.

pandan + grass jelly and coconut + ube
    Karen N.

i've been here a couple of times now when they have bogo deals, and i've liked my che every time! i've tried the pandan + grass jelly, coconut + ube, and mango che (not pictured), and they were all such yummy and refreshing desserts that weren't too sweet since you can adjust your sweetness here! i think my personal favorite out of the ones i've tried is the mango, which comes with a lot of jellies & pudding for different flavors and textures. the service here is super efficient, even on the really busy bogo days! there are a good amount of tables for you to sit and enjoy your che, and plenty of parking outside.

    Trí color (che ba mau)

4.5 stars, tried for the first time. Really good chè, not too sweet at all. I got 3 items for me and family. Chè ba mau (tricolor)- I really liked all the beans, jelly, etc they put in it. Someone said they don't like all the big sweet beans but those are my fav part of this che. So if you don't like beans .... Don't get this or ask of they can make it with less? Chè bo (avocado)- delicious, this was my brothers. He liked it. Not too sweet. Basic coconut - sis in law ordered this. I didn't get to try but she really likes this one. She's been here before. One thing to note if u are allergic to dairy: there are a few items with no dairy. They told me the tricolor was no dairy but later on I saw that on the menu that is actually says "has the least dairy" in Vietnamese. It's ok bc I'm not terribly allergic but maybe they shouldn't say that it doesn't contain dairy in case someone is allergic. Also the staff were really nice but could be more informed. Would definitely come back!

    Coconut Special $8 and 3-color Dessert $6.50
    Mary D.

Chè Vi is one of my favorite places for Vietnamese dessert now. My friend likes their Coconut Special and I wanted to order it as well. However, the cashier told me I could not substitute it with a non-dairy milk alternative. I've had the chè ba màu, or 3-color dessert. It was pretty good. I believe it had mung bean, kidney beans, bánh lot (chewy pandan jelly), and a few other things mixed in. I prefer the one at Chè Hien Khanh. I've also had the Tofu Special $8 which is my favorite. It comes with the ube balls and flan, although I think I like the ube better. It was so good I came back the next day! There is plenty of seating inside and it gets packed at night. Great place to hang out with friends. Looking forward to coming back soon. Happy eating! Yelp Review #22- 2026

If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese sweet treats or want to introduce a friend to Vietnamese desserts, I highly recommend giving Chè Vi a try. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu!

The Che was perfectly sweetened. Not too sweet at all. They put a generous amount of toppings. I love how they separate the ice so you get more toppings. The place is clean and plenty of parking. The service is efficient and the staff is very helpful.

    Vivian C.

I ordered the Coconut Special and Tofu Special, each priced at $8. While both desserts were generously topped and even came with a cup of ice on the side, I felt the price was a bit high for what I received. I usually love traditional Vietnamese chè, and while the varieties here felt a bit twisted or modernized, it didn't fully satisfy my craving, but it was still an okay experience. The vibes are fun and casual, the staff are friendly, and overall it's worth a visit if you're open to trying something new.

Tried the Hawaii sweet potato and mango drink. Both were yummy. Nice atmosphere with clean bathroom. The staff was friendly so that's always a plus.

From what I could remember, it was only coconut milk. I didn't taste anything cow milk in it. I think there was also the taste of soy milk or something?

SERVICE: 9/10 Great customer service! Upon arrival, the staff member who helped me was very nice. I was indecisive about what to order, so I really appreciated that she gave me a rundown and some suggestions on their most popular dishes. Most importantly, I appreciated her concern about my dessert melting by the time I got back to my hotel. If it wasn't for her and her advice to order the dessert frozen, I wouldn't have known and probably would've ended up with a deconstructed dessert. The Matcha Latte was easily my favorite thing here. Super flavorful, sweet without being overly sweet, and dangerously easy to drink. I finished the entire thing so quickly that I genuinely wished I had ordered two. The Matcha Foam Coffee was also really good, especially if you want something with a stronger coffee kick. The bao buns were smaller than I expected, but I liked trying all the different fillings. The Combination Bao Bun was my favorite since you get a mix of the different meats and flavors in one bun. The Quail Egg Bao Bun was another standout. The egg itself is great, and I liked how the flavor carries throughout the bun instead of just tasting like a separate filling in the middle. The BBQ Pork Bao Bun had good flavor and a tasty bun, but I definitely wish they were a little more generous with the meat. The Salted Duck Egg Bao Bun was still good, but the saltier filling wasn't quite as enjoyable for me compared to the others. Definitely more of a specific flavor preference. I also tried the grilled pork banh mi and really enjoyed it. The bread has that nice firm exterior while still staying soft enough inside, and the pork is flavorful with a solid amount of meat. Others in our group ordered the Crispy Roast Pork Banh Mi as well, so there are plenty of savory options if you're not just coming for the bao. Service is quick and pretty straightforward, with part of the experience being self-service. It definitely helps if you speak Vietnamese, but overall everything moves fast and it feels built for picking up a bunch of food and heading out.
