I ordered a Che 3 mau it said to have coconut milk but it sure tasted like evaporated milk mixed w some coconut milk, luckily I had some coconut milk left so I could eat this. They had a new dessert, coconut ice cream in a real coconut. We took it home n it was 90% melted, I froze it to eat it later. Final Thought: 3.36/5 We stumbled upon this little dessert shop that was in the same plaza as our dinner spot and decided to get some ice cream. Dessert: 1. Kem Dừa Trái Cây (Coconut Ice Cream with Fresh Fruit) 3.2/5 The flavor of the ice cream was alright. It's the typical artificial coconut flavor that you usually expect to get with this one. There was a swirl of whipped cream at the top that was overly sweet for us. Coconut shavings were provided for a nice crunch and I would have loved to see more of it. Two other items that contribute to the texture element were the wafer and chocolate wafer roll. While we did receive fresh fruit, I was expecting to get more than 3 thin pieces of mango, 2 slices of kiwi, and 1cut strawberry. The fruit was mostly fresh, but the quantity was a bit sad. The division of that between 4 people was definitely a struggle. The amount of ice cream provided appear appropriate for us at the time. The coconut itself isn't completely filled with ice cream, but it was enough for us. We were able to carve out the coconut meat inside afterwards too and that was a nice bite. Price: Expensive They provide dessert and beverage items on their menu. Pretty comparable to Bay Area prices, which means they're fairly expensive prices. Whenever I crave thai green milk tea, ill come here. They used to have a topping you can add to your drink called "cheese ball". I was told its better than boba and indeed it was pretty tasty. It paired well with the thai green milk tea. Sadly, they stopped making the cheese ball for some reason. There are lots of dessert and drink choices here. I was feeling a bit homesick and came to grab a quick dessert. It was a warm day out so I decided to order the che ba mau then saw the banh bo at the counter and it was a no brainer! It looks like a family owned business with 2 ladies working which could've been mother and daughter, but don't quote me. She kindly cut the banh for me which was nice of them to do. There's a big menu which made it hard for me to choose because J wanted it all! There's a fridge towards the entrance stocked with other traditional desserts like yogurt, coconut jello, Sam bo luong and more. Che was good and refreshing. The beans are always too sweet for me, but let the ice melt and it balanced out. This is the best banh bo I've ever had!! The texture was so perfectly bouncy with a great bite to it. We were visiting Orange County for the week and visited Little Saigon. There are so many dessert and drink places but this shop was recommended by my sister in law and it didn't disappoint!
