Suisun City. In 2013 my water heater leaked due corrosion. The leak had wet my wall and the platform (wood/sheetrock) that the water heater was sitting on. I don't remember the owners name but I'm assuming it's Michael based on the reviews. I went into the house while the water heater was being replaced. A very short time later, he knocked on my door and told me he was done. I paid him and he left. About an hour or two later I took a look at my new water heater and noticed that the water heater platform was in bad shape it was very wet and corroded. I also noticed that my sheetrock where he had soldered the copper pipes were burned. I was so disappointed that he didn't inform me about the water damage to the platform and my burnt wall. I called him to ask him about these issues. His reply was the water heater platform was not part of the installation price. That didn't make any sense at all because it was not mentioned or visible when the old water heater was on the platform. Michael should have at the very least pointed out the water damage and the burnt marks on my wall. When he was removing the new water heater from his van and getting his tools, he was rushing. His demeanor led me to believe he was rushing to get to another job and got careless with my installation. Micheal is a nice man but careless in his workmanship. I replaced the platform myself with a metal stand. A job that took me less than an hour. I hope to find the pictures that I took from another cellphone and will attach them to this post. During our phone conversation, I remember clearly that Michael made no suggestions to remedy the problem. It was obvious that I was on my own. The rotted wood was clearly visible when the old water heater was removed. At that point, I strongly believe that Michael should've pointed it out before reinstalling the new water heater. I would have paid him or replaced the platform myself to avoid the potential dangers of having a gas powered water heater on a weakened platform which could have had disastrous consequences. My biggest concern was the safety of my family so I replaced the platform immediately. It appears Michael is a good plumber based on the reviews but unfortunately I didn't have that experience with him. read more

Had a sewer back up. Called and he came in the time he said he would. His estimate was affordable, and he worked diligently at getting a temporary solution to the problem. It was a bigger job that needed special equipment which was with his partner. He called and partner was here in about 1/2 hour and they were able to pin-point exact location of problem. He will return early tomorrow to repair and clean out the portion of sewer line so our previous plans wouldn't have to be changed. My appointment was from 3-5, but he was late and never even called!! I had to call him at 5:15 to see what was going on and his son answered and said "what lady are you?" Which I thought was very unprofessional! Then half way explaining "which lady" I was, he handed his phone to the owner where i had to start all over again! He said he would be over in 15, took about 20! Would have thought I would get at least $5 off for the inconvenience since I had to leave work early! When he did show up he had to leave to get a part and left his son, who is still learning, by himself! His son walked out to call him twice to ask him what to do! They were here 2 days before and knew what part he needed so not sure why he didn't get it beforehand! Michael to the rescue! My guest bathroom toilet decided to give me a headache when the seals broke and water leaked from the tank all over the floor. I immediately called Michael and left a message (it was Memorial Day). He called me back first thing the next morning and we set up an appointment to fix the problem. I went to Lowes to pick out a new toilet since I preferred to change the whole unit to a new system that was high-efficiency anyway. Within 45 minutes, all while I was working on conference calls from my office, Michael removed the old toilet, installed the new one, and cleaned up so there was no evidence that anything was wrong in the first place! Awesome! To top it all off, he texted me a reminder to send in my rebate that the county was giving for homeowners that install High Efficiency Toilets (HET). I didn't even know there was a rebate! First of all, Michael, the owner is very honest and trustworthy. Second, he is the third company to come out for what I've thought was a break outside under my sidewalk which i was told by the first company, Michael not only confirmed the first company was lying to me and that I would have spent X amount of dollars to fix nothing leaving me with a hole in my sidewalk, but he said he was able to snake all the way to my septic tank. He had me up and running with new clean outs outside my home which I needed as my home was built in the 1950's and there was only a clean out in a downstairs closet. I had the best experience with Cheap O's plumbing that I've ever had with a plumbing company! The bath tub and sink in my guest bath were backing up, not draining properly. I spoke with Michael at Cheap O's tonight. He was very nice, but told me that since it's Christmas week he was completely booked, except for emergencies until after the New year. I told him that while it was not an emergency, I have guests coming for the holidays and would really like them to be able to use that bath. Michael said he would see what he could do and he was able to have Domingo out that evening to help me! I appreciated that Michael was clear with me about the added service charge for last-minute emergency work PRIOR to sending Domingo out--he wanted to be sure I preferred to pay the fee, rather than waiting, which I did. When Domingo got here he carefully diagnosed the problems with both the bath and the sink, and was able to fix them at nearly half the estimate! Domingo was extremely professional and thorough, and everything now works great.
