When we told the server his response was and I Kid you not was What do you want me to do about it! And I said Tell management. Before someone falls, busts their ass, and sues. Whether he relayed to management Is anyone's guess as a manager never came to the table. The menu says hand BREADED chicken tenders and picture is of BATTER DIPPED chicken. It is apparently BATTER dipped according to the bartender. I ordered the southern GREEN BEANS, hat I got were ITALIAN BEANS. And it tasted as if someone seasoned them sugar instead of salt. Stopped in to cheddars today because my gf wanted some potato soup. We walked in and were seated quickly. Our server took awhile to come to our table even though she only had 3 tables. We did not get any silverware, napkins, or straws until having to ask when our server came walking by. Finally we ordered our food. I got the chicken tinders, mac and cheese, and corn. My gf got the potato soup. A long 30 minutes later the server comes back to our table and sets my food down in front of me. The server then stated that she was really sorry but they had run out of potatoes for the soup. My gf didn't want anything else because they only had two soups and she dislikes broccoli. I took one bite of my chicken tender and it was not warm at all. I checked my corn and Mac and cheese and they were also very cold. I asked for the meal to be taken off since I didn't want to eat with my gf not being able to and was made to pay for the cold un wanted food. Our first time today and was very impressed. The onion ring app was amazing and huge! I had the ribs and were very good with lots of flavor. The broccoli cheese caseros and Coke slaw with it were really good too. My wife had the philly steak and cheese and she said it was one of the best she has ever had with the max and cheese. Epic fail this visit. I entered. After the three people at the podium decided to stop talking and acknowledged my presence I told them there was 1 in my party. She asked if I would like to sit in the lounge. Sure. Why not One other person at a high top that was waiting. I grabbed a high top. 5 minutes later and I can't count how many times a server walked past my table here's what we had. The other guy was greeted and given a menu. Another couple was seated. first time visiting. some good, some bad. first the bad. with a name like cheddar's, i expected cheesy mac and cheese not watery. disappointed here. now the good. chicken strips were excellent. the honey mustard had a surprising kick. ribs were tender and good. spinach cheese dip for appetizer was real nice. the server was super friendly and helpful. i was even visited, as was everyone else, by the manager briefly to check on our table. they clearly were concerned with satisfaction. the restaurant has a nice clean look. i love the water feature out front. for what we ordered, i was happy with the cost considering the portions were more than fair. for food that falls into this category, i would definitely go here again. read more

Love love love!!! We always get the chips queso and salsa and they are delicious just with they had a small and large dish. I always get the ribs and corn and my husband gets The blackened Salmon with Mac n cheese and broccoli. We're never disappointed. We leave full and still have money. Went to Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen today for lunch. It was my husband's birthday lunch and my friend went too. The menu is large with a wide variety to choose from. I heard about the Croissant appetizer and Onion Rings so we ordered both, $2.99 for 4 and a huge tower of rings for only $4.99. Both were delicious! My husband had the Chicken Pot Pie and cole slaw for $7.99. It was big! He ate it all and said it had a lot of chicken in it. My friend had 1/2 a Monte Cristo and 1/2 a Cheddars Club for $6.99. She said they were ok. She had them leave the jam and powdered sugar off the Monte. I had Spasagne-like spaghetti and lasagna crossed for $9.99. Enough for 2!! It was delicious, but I brought home 3/4. Biggest complaint =we waited 45 min for our food. Others came after us and left before us. The wait knocked down my rating. read more

Went there on a Sunday afternoon and had pretty good experience. It was pretty packed. I heard the waiter tell someone a 25-30 minute wait. (Don't know how many they had in their party.) There were may people waiting inside and outside. We however got seated immediately. I only had a party of 3. They had really good drink specials posted. I feel like they're priced really well. You get a good amount of food for what you pay for. Our food took kind of awhile to come out. I just chalked it up to they were busy. Pretty cozy inside. Spacious booths. I really love the cool ceiling fan lol. The apple pie dessert is AMAZING!!! They also have really good chips and Queso. VEGETARIAN TIP: they have tons of meals that are vegan and vegetarian ! I got the vegetarian plate. It consist of a house salad and your choice of four sides and it was under 9 bucks!! They have tons of sides to choose from so this was great ! I got broccoli, sweet carrots, corn, and fries (lol I really wanted fries. Don't judge me) The portion sizes were amazing ! I had left overs to take home. As far as casual dining chains, Chedder's is not my favorite. Their prices are great, but their food is just mediocre. The salad I got was not bad, my husband's lemon pepper chicken was bland, and the steak my grandparents got was overdone. I do however really like their croissant rolls with the honey butter. I've been here on four separate occasions to meet with extended family and have ordered vastly different entrees. They have all been terrible. I've had the fried chicken (eh it was ok, but not enough to bring me back), the pasta ceaser salad (too salty), the chicken and shrimp with rice (the shrimp had turned), and the bone in bourbon pork chop. The pork chop is finally it for me. It taste like a chemically simulated charboil flavor you get off of a whopper. The mashed potatoes were so salty it made my mouth pucker. My kids had the mac and cheese, it needed to be baked more. The cheese was really clumpy and they wouldn't eat it (mac and cheese is my "safety entree" for my kids because they ALWAY eat mac and cheese). Anyway I will be suggestion other dinning options. I tried Cheddar's for the first time recently. When you walk inside, the decor is beautiful! I love the big fans in the middle of the restaurant! We didn't have to wait long, maybe about 15 minutes. It was around 1:00 p.m. Our waitress was amazing, she served us right away! Drinks were quick, food didn't take too long either! I had a bacon burger & cheese fries. I moved here from Minnesota for 4 months and was recommended to come here. My mom and I needed a new place to just sit and have a great time. Despite I was in a hurry the waitress was very fast and helped us by getting our food as fast as it can come. I absolutely love the burger that I had it was so juicy and tender the bun was toasted perfectly. The flavor of the BBQ wasn't the spicy it was more of a sweet BBQ. My mom loved the potato soup! The chicken strips are juat amazing. Crispy breading, just the right amount, and always moist and tender. The staff is usually fairly efficient and friendly. I've been to other Cheddar's locations in the past, which is why we visited this location. We were met by a hostesses that treated us like we were bothering them by being there. Our appetizer (spinach dip) seemed to take a long time to arrive at our table and once we finally got it, it was cold. Then our meals arrived within 5 minutes of getting the appetizer. We asked the server to take it off our bill because it was cold, and we didn't have time to eat it anyway. The meals were very good, but the dessert (apple pie ala mode) was really bland. We'll give this location another try because I've always had a good experience at other Cheddars locations, but we'll probably wait a few months for them to get their issues sorted out. read more

Not at all satisfied with my last visit which is abnormal. This place is usually on point. The pasta was so over cooked it was the same consistency as the sauce that smothered it. I asked for blue cheese, I was given ranch. They carry no crayons to keep children occupied while we waited. Speaking of waiting, I waited 20 min for my check after I asked for it, the to go bag given to me was 1/2 torn and I didn't get a single refill on my iced tea. When I asked for extra napkins I was given cocktail napkins. It wasn't even busy in there. Almost enough to not go back, however I won't let this one bad experience keep me away, but I will write about it. read more

Every time we have come there is a LONG wait for a table, but a couple times we have been fortunate to arrive right in front of a long line of people. The food is typical casual fare, but better than Chili's or TGI Fridays in my opinion. The chips and queso are excellent - the chips are fresh and hot. I've never orders Mac n Cheese for myself, but every time we go my kids order. Then I remember that I want to order it myself! It's very creamy and not the radioactive kind. Would recommend if you can get a table in less than 30 mins. Otherwise I personally would go elsewhere, but I also have kids to deal with and wouldn't want to wait. No kids and over 21?? My favorites are the chicken caesar pasta salad and the Bacardi Bellini- YUM They also are very affordable for a restaurant with such an upscale feeling/atmosphere. Very slow service... our waiter was amazing and trying his best, but he clearly was overworked with tables. My drink from the bar took over 30 minutes because they were short staffed. Our server ended up having to make the drinks because it took so long. The food was ok, but it took over an hour and an half to get our food. We got there at 830 thinking it was ok since they closed at 10, and we were still there past 10pm. Overall; I would not return. The only saving grace was the server who was doing his best to stay afloat. read more

Great Food, TERRIBLE Service. 23 Yes, 23. That's how many servers passed me in the 7 minutes after being seated before one came to my table (of course, some of them were actually serving). That put the experience off to a bad start, what with my low blood sugar and all. I was about to walk out, feeling snuffed and ignored, more so when the table next to me was immediately greeted upon seating. When the server finally arrived to take my drink order, things began to look up. The Wisconsin Cheddar Bites arrived and were excellent! Hot. Crispy. Tasty. Not quite worth the wait (because the wait was so long) but still delicious, with a tasty, chunky Marinara. But then another 23 minutes of waiting for my main course and then they got it wrong. Once they finally got it straight, the manager brought it out herself, IT WAS GOOD! Tasty. Fresh. And Generous. The Baby Backs were fall-off-the-bone good (but still had the silver skin on) and the BBQ Chicken was done just right. Their Honey BBQ Sauce is very good, but you'll want to ask for extra. Vicky, the Manager on Duty, checked on things and seemed to care, but still the Service left so much to be desired. Unfortunately, I didn't have a Penny to leave for a tip. read more

Anyway I was calling to place an order, and the phone line was busy, since i was next door i thought i would drive over, and see what was going on. At the time i pulled there was only one other car. and that person too was trying the phone line also. So when this black haired girl walked out of the building with an order for someone that wasn't even there. I asked her if something was wrong with phone because i couldn't get through, she said there is only one person answering the phones, and then I asked if she would be able to take my order and she said as she was turning her back "i can't help you" and walked inside. And I'm just sitting there in my car STUNNED that any business would act like that. We have been going here since it first opened. The food is good, the prices are fair and the service WAS excellent. Over the past 4 to 5 months, the service has declined and the receptionist/hostesses have become impersonal and robotic. The wait time for food has gotten really bad and no one seems much concerned when called to their attention. We have been going elsewhere more and more. There are many good alternatives so we vote with our dollars. We would come more often if we felt our business was important and the staff was working for our satisfaction and return. Incredibly disappointed with the service given the COVID restrictions in place. Our service was incredibly slow, we waited all too long for drinks, & I had to ask several times for ranch. The most frustrating aspect was the large group of partiers at the bar. There was a wait to be seated, & there was an effort to maintain social distancing, except at the bar where a large party was taking shots, crowding a table causing the woman to request to move. This could have been solved simply by asking the party to go back to their table.
