Very disappointed. We had an awesome experience last time we came. However, this time we waited 40 minutes for our food, and our food was not even hot. My plate of food was extremely small and the rice was completely drenched in sauce. Very dissappointing, we will definitely think twice about coming here next time. Have been looking so forward to trying Cheddar's, what a huge let down. Diego are server was great, very kind. We ordered an appetizer that we never received. It was a birthday celebration that was a total let down. The birthday girls food was luke warm. Nothing at our table was hot! We had two little children with us. Diego was very attentive to them. I have been several times and it just didn't seem as good as in times past. Service was slow. Our waiter did a good job of bringing new drinks but should have taken the empty glasses. We had too many empty glasses on the table. I ordered the New Orleans Pasta. It is my favorite dish. It didn't seem as good this time. Some of the pasta seemed dry. Also, this restaurant needs to seriously consider being on the No Wait app or at least have call ahead seating. Using paper and a clipboard seems very ancient. read more

Food is pretty good. Always comes out fresh tasting with great flavor. Have tried various items on the menu and none have disappointed. Main issue is service. Servers aren't very attentive. End up waiting 15 minutes just to place the order. Then food wait time is 20+ minutes. Then when you're clearly done eating(IMO) another 15 minutes until the server offers your check. They are generally very nice. Just every time I feel like I am waiting and waiting and waiting. Typically they are semi-busy each time I go. So some extra wait time is to be expected. But it seems like it goes too far every time. Don't think I was offered water refills on last visit. All in all, good food, but slow service. read more

My family and I love this location. Place is always so clean and the food is very fresh. According to my husband, their burgers are one of the best juicy burgers he's ever had. I have been here numerous times and every time it has always been pleasant. I've had to wait a while on Friday nights so be warned that there will be a long wait. This experience was on a Wednesday night around six so no wait and we got seated right away. The server was loni. He was very attentive and brought me a fresh coke before the first one got watered down. Never has that happened before. He was very informal and friendly to me and the people I was with. We had ordered the croissants and spinach dip for apps. If you like croissants or even if it is your first time at cheddars it is a must order. The spinach dip was also very good. I ordered the 6oz sirloin with two sides and fried onions. I get emails with coupons inside for signing up on their website. So instead of paying 9.99 I only had to pay 7.99. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I went about 5 o'clock last Saturday and while the place was busy I was afraid how long it will take to get our food etc. and the quality of the food and the service and the speed the cleanliness I could go on and on for days. I had a New Orleans pasta dish that was exceptional. The croissants are other worldly. The portions were what I expect when I go out to eat and more than I can finish which is never happened. I got the nachos as an appetizer and I have to say that they are neck and neck with Ford's garage. It is close. I can not recommend this restaurant enough nor return soon enough. Updated review went with a friend for lunch went in filled with people waiting for table went up checked in explained we wanted a table in Bar area was told area high tops are first come first serve went in there saw 5 Booths open said okay we'll wait at a high top and waited a while none of the booths got seated finally ask the waitress can we just sit at one of the two open booths she said don't worry about it sit there I had lunch and food came it was out at different times than it should have have been we didn't say anything then came time for the check we asked to have the bill split and everything was messed up on the check then we asked her to correct it and it was still messed up we each paid 1y bucks for an 8.00 lunch so we just went with it but this was like the last time will be at Cheddars there are so many other restaurants in that immediate area to it was just a mess there has to be better people at the front many people will just turn around and walk out the door there were open tables all over the place the girl that was doing the seating had no idea what she was doing we sat there ate lunch and those tables were still open when we left. I have eaten here a few times prior to 8/6/20 and it has been good food and great service. Yesterday was the worst visit. We were seated next to a screaming toddler so we asked to move. After begrudgingly finding us another table,we moved. Then we waited and waited to have someone take ur order. After giving our order we waited another 25 minutes to receive one garden salad and two burgers with fries. Even with a limited menu and reduced seating this was unacceptable. When they first opened here in Wesley chapel they had great warm fresh food ! Unfortunately , they have gone down with their food and the cleanness of the restaurant. On 2/23/20, I took my daughter to a place across the street called Walk-Ons because she wanted a Shrimp Poboy. Not only did the food arrive 30+ minutes late, my daughter found a hair in her food. We did not touch or eat any of the food. The manager had attitude when she came to the table and we decided to come to this Cheddars. From the beginning of arriving to this restaurant, the staff was smiling and our waiter, Blaine, was a solid 10 out of 10 with a great attitude. Though a shrimp Poboy is not in the menu, my daughter got an amazing shrimp Poboy made specially for her. I highly recommend this Cheddars! read more

We waited 25 minutes for a table but the staff was very friendly. Our server was very nice too. I wasn't until the food came that things went wrong. I ordered fried steak. My first bite tasted funny and there was a huge amount of batter so I scraped off the batter and the center of the meat was uncooked. The manager cam over and offered me another plate of the same and I accepted but everyone else had finished their meals so I got it to go. About 30 minutes later I ran to the bathroom...poop and vomit! IT was terrible food poisoning. It lasted about 3 hours and then my throat and tummy couldn't take more than tea and toast for 5 days. My husband called the restaurant to let them know. They said thanks and that was all! No sorry we poisoned your wife or let me give you a credit for the meal, nothing. I posted on Facebook about my predicament and I had 17 responses of people that had the same experience. 3 of them went to the emergency room.
