I asked on arrival waiting time told 10 to 15 min it was early sat evening so not too bad I waited 35 to 40 min. Finally sat down and ordered waited 20 min for oappetizer of chips and caiso how long could that take then waited another 20 min once done with that for entre. Had the lo cal chicken and shrimp the chicken came out half done which I pointed out rite away to my server it was taken away and I waited another 10 min for the new dish which was actually great. All I got was an apology and sometimes the kitchen rushes the dishes (I hope not often). I expected more but..... Last time I go there for sure. I don't mind waiting for a great meal but I draw the line on a sloppily run kitchen and wasting my time for no reason. read more

Cheddars is really good if you're looking for a nice meal at a great price. They have a lot of things made from scratch which is great, their drinks are very delicious and cheap, I would highly recommend their margarita which is like $5. The food here is so amazing ... fresh and delicious ... the burgers are bomb ... the croissants- literally heaven in your mouth- seriously we took like 10 home with us ... the drinks are really good and such reasonable prices with everything .. not really sure why people are comparing cheddars to an Applebee's or chillis, to me it's incomparable, food here is freshly made to order and of much better quality... We sat at the Bar to watch the Bucs lose to the Packers. The bartender was nice and provided good service. I ordered the ribeye steak. It was very reasonably priced and cooked the correct temperature. The steak was tasty. It seems like good competition to Appleby s but less expensive. I will go back. read more

We've been in Treasure Island, Maderia, St. Petes & Clearwater since last Friday. We've eaten at many places, this has been the best food, service & restaurant we've been in. The food was wonderful! Hot crescent rolls that are so flakey and hit! Honey butter drizzled over them. Cold, crisp salads, juicy burgers, excellent salmon and fish. Tasty and so very good. I can't say enough good things about this place. We have been here several times and have never once been disappointed. The last visit we had Nicole (sp?) Serve us and she is spectacular...sweet, helpful, witty and an all-around great server. We will ask for her from now on. The food is delicious. They have a large variety and options for salads, seafood, steaks and comfort food. I ordered a drink that I didn't much care for...nothing wrong with it, just not my taste. I didn't complain. I just put it to the side. She came by and asked if everything was ok and didn't I like the drink? I told her I didn't care for it but there was nothing wrong with it. She had it taken off the bill! That was so kind of her to notice without me bringing it to her attention AND very nice of the manager to credit my bill for it. This place always has great food for a relatively low price, I would give them 5 stars but recently I had a poor experience. Me and my fiance were seated and multiple waiters continued to walk past our table for around 15 service before someone finally asked what we would like to drink, this is unacceptable, and to act like we hadn't been sitting there for 15 minutes, especially when the same waiter walks by 5 times without making eye contact with you. read more

: THE WORST DINING experience ever.. they sat the loudest most OBNOXIOUS group at the table for 12-14 people next to us (OF COURSE)...( we were the only ones in the room they sat us in so they had lots of places they could have put them) with in seconds we couldn't even have a conversation they were SO LOUD it was unbearable..They forgot part of my order part of my husbands order and then the ribs he ordered were so tough he actually couldn't even chew them.the drinks were empty the majority of the time,....my head is pounding along with everyone else in the family because of how loud they were.The fact that when the server came back to ask if we wanted desert finally, we had to ask him to repeat himself as we couldn't even hear him over the table next to us. Ate dinner here on a Friday evening. We were seated immediately and our waitress quickly came to the table for our appetizer order and drinks. Of course we had to try the onion rings- great choice! The four of us all ordered different entrees and all felt the food was delicious. The service was attentive but not overly so. We took our time and enjoyed the company and food. Chedders prices are very affordable and the food portions are generous. The environment is welcoming. Each time I go to this location the service is awesome. This time our waiter was very attentive without being over bearing. He made sure we had what we needed and continued to follow up accordingly. The food was also great. I normally eat at Cheddar,s in Spring on 45 at Loretta twice a week But now i no long eat there . Seems some one had the bright idea to stop serving baked sweet potatoes . so i have informed my family that we no long eat there, And will relocate to another that does serve sweet potatoes. We've been to this location several times and always get the Dijon chicken and mushrooms. Always outstanding. This time I do not know what happened but the chicken was extremely salty and had some god awful seasoning added to it. To make matters worse it was not hot, but tepid warm. Vegetables were cold, sent our plates back to warm it up and after several minutes came back and still not overly hot. Server tried to be helpful as it is not her fault food from kitchen was mediocre. It will be quite some time before we go back there. Spoke with the manager on duty and he did not seem to care of me and my friends concern of roaches crawling on the table. What a complete disappointment our visit was today. My food came out over cooked/burnt. The waitress said that she would get the manager because "the kitchen wouldn't listen to her any way but they would listen to the manager if he asked them to remake my dinner." She came back twice to ask if he had been by to see us. On the third visit back, she said, "I am really sorry, I have asked him to stop by twice -- do you just want your check?" My food was only half eaten/picked at and she did not even offer to take it off the check. I finally said, "I guess he isn't interested in our business again...." She smiled, made a pouty face and said she was sorry...again. In addition to bad food and less than adequate service, the man next to us touched the poor young waitress every time he spoke to her. She was clearly uncomfortable but he didn't stop. Maybe if the manager was actually walking the floor as he should have been, the service and food would have been better and the guests would not have to watch the waitresses get manhandled. We have been to Cheddars in Indiana several times and never had these issues. We were so excited to have one near by in Tampa and now are completely disappointed. read more

I've only been here a few times but I have to say it's pretty good. I would even say that the food is close to top notch. I had the New Orleans pasta and it really felt like some good comfort food. When I took the first bite it was like a mouth orgasm. The delicious sauce for the pasta went so well with the perfectly seasoned pasta and shrimp it had delicious perfectly cooked chicken and shrimp. It takes me back to the time in he French quarter when I was grubbin on some good old Cajun food. The reason it only got a 4 today was because my girlfriend had some fried shrimp and she said it was just "okay" that is not top notch. I would say that my food was quite delicious and worth a mention I loved the shrimp but I guess the fried shrimp was not as good. I would recommend the New Orleans pasta. This is a good place to grub if you want some good comfort food or a nice burger. But you can get a better burger as well. I normally like Chedders but my last visit was horrible! Almost an hour and a half wait, had to get our own silverware, we had a large party and we heard a waiter say they weren't going to make money off our table (Why? Was it because we are black?). They never helped this one waiter bus the table from all the plates until we complained, we waited an hour for our food which half were wrong (missing sides or never got them), Our drink orders took forever and half were wrong, took 30 minutes to get our checks and of course half were wrong! We complained to the manager she mocked us by sending 6 waiters over to remove all the dishes including the dishes from the appetizers that they did comp us for the wait. All in all they were not up to par that night. The one waiter for a party of 16 tried his best. I told the manager this was not all just his fault but management as well. But she did comp us with 10 gift certificate but not enough to make our Gender Reveal Event pleasant! read more

I came here with the full intent to get the maple bacon chicken sandwich which I did and it was incredible, messy but I don't care about that. My mother tried to order the potato skins appetizer and our waiter came back and told us they weren't available which was okay we picked something else. A couple minutes later someone I would assume to be a supervisor or something came by and said she understood we were upset about the potato skins which we really weren't, a tad disappointed because we wanted to try them but we understood things happen. She was so kind and explained to us why they weren't available at this time and made sure we were satisfied with the rest of our order which we absolutely were. At the end of my meal I asked my mom how much the bill was and she said 24 dollars and we were like there's no way that's correct. She looks it over and smiles and says "they gave us the chicken tender appetizer for free" (our replacement for the potato skins). Anyways the service was great and our food arrived super fast and I literally downloaded this app just to give them a great review because they really didn't have to do that, we weren't mad but I wanted to do something kind in return so five stars for you cheddars scratch kitchen!
