We visited Cheddar's yesterday, Thursday Oct. 17, late afternoon, around 5 PM, with a large group of senior (19). I had called the day before to inform them that we were coming. They were ready for us on time. What was real amazing it that the manager provided us with a number of different complementary appetizers while we were waiting for our meals to arrive, since it would be a while for the 19 meals to arrive together. We definitely enjoyed the appetizers and I would like to complement the manager for realizing how to please our large group. We will highly recommend Cheddars to our friends and will return in the future. read more

The difference between when they first opened to now is night and day. It was so much more fresh when they first opened now their food is not fresh. I just recently went a couple nights ago and the tenders tasted as if they were fried in old oil and they tasted very funny to me. The next morning I found myself extremely sick with food poisoning. The service was horrible our waitress was talking with everyone and taking forever to get our food and water. You guys should just let us use the tablet instead of waiting for the awful service. The prices at this place are not worth it AT ALL! The ambiance isn't even all that nice either they don't bother cleaning all that well. The food here is definitely not made from scratch, and I will never eat anything from here again. I will never return here unless it's for the painkiller. read more

No wait when we were there. I had the tilapia with rice,mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Our server was wonderful. Always made sure we had everything and it was prepared the way we wanted. Will definitely be dining there again. read more

Lunch with a friend, got the monte cristo. It's hard to beat Bennigans, doesn't even come close to comparing. I wouldn't get it again. It's hard to cook the doughy bread. Service was great. The waitress is very slow it took 20 minutes to greet us and it's a rainy Wednesday night and hardly anyone in here. It took an hour after we ordered to get our food with my husband's order he got toast that was stale and old. I got the chicken pot pie the worst I have ever had it was dry chicken soup with peas and carrots they need a new chef that knows how to cook. And a new manager Tyler is the worst manager I have ever met.he will tell you he'll fix it but never does. We will not come back. I would of been better to go to McDonald's read more

SERVICE IS AMAZING !!!! Our host was so bubbly our waitress Bri was kind as well and the other waiters and waitresses seemed just as kind. It is 7/5/24 so they are just opening so it was slammed busy but the food still came out hot and fresh at a reasonable time. This is a great place to grab APPETIZERS. My husband and I had never been to Cheddars, but always heard people talking about how good it was, so we decided to give it a go. I want to start by saying our server, Kevin, was awesome. He was knowledgeable, attentive, helpful and kind. He was the only good thing about our experience. The restaurant was packed considering it was 9pm. There was a slight wait and we hoped that was a good sign! We got our two free croissants. They were good. Really good, we wanted more. We knew they costs a few dollars, no problem.... no more croissants being made for the night (90 mins before closing). Fine. We ordered chips and queso. It was good but we were served the bottom of the chip bag, probably 10 full chips and a plate full of crumbs. My husband ordered bourbon glazed salmon, I ordered New Orleans pasta, and asked for no sausage (pork), and was told it comes premade. I ordered it anyways, I'll pick out the sausage. Kevin comes back to tell us they're out of pasta. Sure, stuff happens... I ordered the Monte Cristo with no ham, and was told the sandwich is premade and I can't remove the ham. At this point, no more croissants, no pasta, and I can't remove ham off of of a "made from scratch" sandwich, we went ahead and ordered my husband's meal to go because I didn't come to a sit down restaurant to eat chicken tenders or a burger. Drinks from the bar were good, but we had to leave them half full because we had ended up taking our food to go food and at this point... I have no dinner. To top it all off, we heard a guy at a table near us upset because they were out of something his wife was ordering, and he was getting frustrated out loud (which is something I didn't do). The manager came and touched his table and apologized profusely to them for the lack of item availability and offered to discount their check. Maybe I wasn't Karen enough, or maybe the people at my table weren't the right color to deserve an apology for the same issue as the white family. The final disappointment is that we get home, my husband has 2 shrimp, 3 bites of broccoli cheddar casserole, his mashed potatoes, a tiny piece of salmon, and some funky rice. Overall, Kevin was awesome. The food we did get was decent. They were out of everything, our to go food was skimp, and it appears we were discriminated against. Never again. Stay far away. There are much better places to spend your hard earned money. read more

The service we received was really good, restaurant was clean. The food was delicious and well portioned. We got Dijon chicken and mushroom with mashed potatoes, the grilled salomon with baby carrots & broccoli and the top sirloin steak with chicken tenders with steam broccoli and loaded, baked potato. Although the loaded bake potato was good the meat loaf was not. First I asked for white gravy and they brought brown BUT the main issue was that the restaurant is using a CHEAP grade of ground beef. I spent the meal pulling unchewable fat and gristle out of my mouth. They need to spend the extra money to buy good quality meat like the Cheddars restaurants I have been used too. read more

This is my first time writing a review. And it was simply to say that you should absolutely NOT come here. Firstly, The food came out 1hr later, came out cold, they were out of croissants (what they're known for?) and overall it was just a wreck. HOWEVER the service was amazing. Our server Sakera was absolutely amazing She was kind, attentive, well spoken, and absolutely gorgeous. She definitely saved what could have been a HORRIBLE experience to just a bad one. She immediately retrieved her manager when things went wrong, which (unfortunately) made it worseThe management over there is atrocious. He kept trying to upsell us food after we had already waited 45min with absolutely nothing to eat, and asking if there was anything else we'd like to have! Our waitress ensured we were taken care of (at least as much as she could control) and was very attentive to make sure we had drinks, and allowed us to voice our frustrations to her. When my food finally came out we asked for ketchup and she brought it out in a small side dish. When I asked where the bottles were, she informed me that was something that they were also out of. This experience is definitely a management/kitchen issue. The cooks must be new as it is a new location. While I hope Cheddars hires more experienced waitstaff such as ours, (for their sake) I wouldn't be surprised if they lost the good service they do have to somewhere higher end/with a better work environment. Impeccable service for any restaurant let alone one that just opened. Food was spot on. It was my first time discovering their croissants. So tasty but be careful you don't fill up on them. Prices were reasonable. Very busy but they managed to keep up with the rush. read more

Went here openening day and a few other times. So happy to have one closer to us than Dale Mabry. Great food and service as usual. My husband took me yesterday since it was my birthday and as soon as we walked in we were greeted with "hello, we just finished sitting 27 guests and our servers are a little overwhelmed right now so give us a minute to get in all of their orders then we will sit you after that". Then she continued to repeat this to everyone who walked in after us. It was not a good look, I looked at my husband and we decided to go. The anxiety from that greeter was too much. I hate to leave a bad review on a new restaurant but our party's whole experience was terrible last night. To start they are out of fries? Don't know how that is possible but not a huge deal. We waited over 45 minutes for our entrees for them to come out cold. I sent back my pasta and my friend sent back her baked potato. 10 minutes later a manager comes over to tell me they are out of pasta. So I just order chicken fingers and tell them to make it to go at this point because we are all aggravated and ready to leave after waiting so long for the food . We wait another 30 minutes for some chicken fingers, at this point we didn't even get to eat our meals together as well. Manager never returned back to the table throughout the night to check on the us and my friend never even received a new baked potato. When I open up my togo when I get home I am also missing my baked potato so I'm not sure if they ran out of potatoes as well? But we were never told and my togo salad is already tossed in dressing so i have a soggy salad as well. So none of the food was removed of our bill and we were charged for food we never received or was poor quality! Thank you Cheddars do not think we will be returning. My husband and I have been to the new Cheddars a couple of times before and liked it. The food was so so, but the staff always friendly. Today we ordered the lunch special hamburgers and asked for them well done, but not charcoal. They can out and were burnt. Our waitress was sweet but she had too many tables so it took her awhile to come back. We told her they were too burnt so she took them back and it seems like it took forever and she came back with different burgers and these were burnt too. Waitress asked if we wanted to order something else but we didn't so manger cleaned our balance even though we offered to pay for my tea but they didn't charge us. Maybe the restaurant is too new so hopefully their cooks will get better. read more

My husband and I took our teen granddaughters to Cheddars for lunch today and arrived a few minutes after they opened. We were seated very quickly. The restaurant was about 1/4 full. After that is when everything else fell apart. Keep in mind, my granddaughters are easily embarrassed, and I knew that asking for the manager or complaining to the server would not be a positive experience for them. A few minutes after seated our waiter, Aaron B. came over and took our drink order and we waited about 5 minutes for soft drinks and water. Aaron took our food order and the first thing I ordered was the onion rings - the ONE thing I wanted and said he could bring them out with our meals. Everyone around us started getting their food quickly including all the tables who were seated well after us. It was about 20 minutes after placing our orders we received our food and there were no onion rings. *Just so you all know, the onion rings were honestly what drew me to the restaurant although all their food is usually quite good. The burger and fries were good although the fries were not even room temperature, my husband's chicken tenders and mashed potatoes were a 10/10. My granddaughter had the shrimp alfredo pasta that she said was very good however the shrimp still had tails on them which was not something she expected - who does that? Ewww. So trying to eat the shrimp in her meal proved to be annoying. My Philly cheesesteak was very good as well however my fries were cold. I asked the waiter about my onion rings when he delivered our meals and he said the kitchen was working on them and they'd be right out. When he came by while we were eating he said oh, your onion rings are coming out now. Well, we finished our meals and there were still no onion rings. I asked him for drink refills and told him to cancel the onion rings as we had already finished our meals and no longer wanted to wait for them. He said, "but they're ready."I said well I no longer want them. He walked away. When he brought our drink refills back I asked for the check which he didn't bring to our table so I decided to look at the kiosk that was there and found the bills. Yes, more than one bill because there was a separate bill with a time 25 minutes later than our main food bill for the onion rings. This made me quite upset because if he had just told me he forgot to put the order in I would have understood however lying does not make me happy. To blame the kitchen for something they weren't responsible for is not the right thing to do. So I paid for check #1 that had our meals and drinks on it and put a note that I was not paying for something I ordered that was not put into their system until we were almost finished eating and did not receive. In addition to the fries, shrimp and service the other problem we all noticed and commented on was that the staff in the kitchen who we could see clearly had no gloves or hairnets on while they prepared food. Also, there were guests and others, including young children going into the kitchen to chat and socialize with the workers. This is a huge no-no. Needless to say, we decided won't be going back after this experience. At some point in the very distant future we may decide to do a pick up order but we'll see. read more
