This was my first time visiting Cheddars. It was a busy Saturday afternoon and I had to catch a flight. The staff made sure to take care of us quickly. The food came out promptly and it was delicious. How can you go to Cheddars and not have the cheddar bites?? They came out quickly and BEFORE our meal. Delish! The salad was fresh and crisp, and the steamed broccoli was bright and not overdone. The bourbon glazed salmon was done to perfection. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Gave this location a try after a bad experience at a different Cheddar's location. 5 stars all the way and Valerie is a must ask to sit in her area. She will make sure your drinks are always full and give your table the attention you would want when dining out. Had to try the Monte Cristo and WOW! So glad I tried it. Deep Fried Cuban type of sandwich with powdered sugar (don't wear black clothing) and a side of strawberry jam. It was "Big Boy" heaven. If you're a "dipper" I would recommend asking for another side of strawberry jam as you get 4 good portions of this sandwich and will need two strawberry jam sides so all 4 can get a healthy dip of the jam. Nice ambiance where it's not so bright and not so dark. Had just the right mood to enjoy your meal that really is made from scratch. Went for a birthday dinner yesterday and ordered chicken fried chicken. TELL ME WHYY. I got mine and it was FUCKING FISH. And I'm cutting through it with my fork, LIKE YOU WOULD FISH, and I'm like wtff, everyone next to me is like THAT IS FISH.. waitress comes over and I'm like yeah girl you gave me fish. I called and asked for a party of 10 wait, they said they couldn't quote me a wait time over the phone. Not once did the manager state that they couldn't sit a party of 10. When we get here they say they can't seat a party of 10 without separating the party. We ended up sitting 2 booths back to back for our farewell dinner for my brother who is in the Air Force and deploying overseas. Thanks for nothing Cheddar's. read more

We all know Cheddar's scratch kitchen. This one opened up two weeks ago. No different from all the others, lots of parking and pleasant dining room Decour. An interesting fact is the only foods made from scratch, lusted on their scratch menu section are the salads. Their service is good and their prices are right, and their portions are generous. The food is not up to expectations. Their broccoli was luke warm and soggy. Their mashed potatoes were only so-so. Their shrimp Alfredo would have been good except for the soggy broccoli mixed throughout. One thing that was very good were they complementary sweet croissants served prior to your meal. This probably won't last long as they do it as part of their opening. But, they are good.. Destination restaurant? Not by a long shot. In fact, I cannot really think of a good reason to go there often. read more

My husband and I went to this Cheddar's location today @ 13:34:40, the check # 20430. This is what we ordered: (1) Lemonade (1) Iced Tea (1) Bacon Cheese Burger (w/ Extra Crispy Bacon, No Onions (Allergic), & No Lettuce), and with Fries. (1) Herb Rosted Chicken (w/ Loaded Baked Potato & a Baked Potato with just butter) (1) Hot Fudge Cake Sundae (To Go) Well, the burger came to the table and the Bacon was half cooked on one side and other side of the burger was raw. So, we sent it back and the cook made another one and this time, he put lettuce in it and also the bacon again wasn't crispy enough to eat. My husband indicated to "Jazlene R," that he wanted his bacon extra crispy and no lettuce and it was cooked incorrectly for the second time too. So, my husband just said to cancel the order and that he wasn't going to eat. He just wanted his Hot Fudge Cake Sundae to go. We then asked for a military discount and Jazlene R. said "We Don't Believe In That!!!". This made me mad right away as may husband is a "Retired-Veteran from the U.S. Air Force and he served to for 21 years and for Jazlene R. to say that "We Don't Believe In That!", that made me feel that she didn't really care about the Veterans or Retired Military and how she included the whole restaurant as to not believing in this discount of I guess 10%. My husband was mad about her comment about the military that "She and/or Chedder's don't believe in a Military Discount. We are a proud military family and with her non-knowledge of the military and what it entails and the decency to say something like that right in-front of a Retired Veteran was just not correct. We would understand if she said "I'm Sorry, but, we don't do that discount here." We would have understood that to be ok. But, with her saying "We Don't Believe In That!!!" Within this state of having 3-4 military bases and military persons, this is why with regards to the comment from Jazlene R., has initiated me to write this review about this restaurant. Jazlene R. also said that when she asked us to do the survey on the tablet and to give her good stars. We gave her 5 stars but, I'm now thinking that I shouldn't have done that with the comment she made about the military. Jazlene R. needs to be taught how to talk to the people of the military and also she's very soft spoken that we had to ask a few times for her talk a little louder. I was just made that she said that and it was so rude about it. It's not our fault that the Burger was messed up twice and that my husband wasn't happy with the two times it was made. Apparently, the cook isn't paying attention to the ticket that was done regarding this burger. Jazlene R. also boasted about this Cheddar's location as being the best from the other Cheddar's locations. It's kinda weird that this location has only been open for the past 3-6 months and for someone to say that they are the "BEST" ever. That's too much to say about only being open for less than 6 months. She was also putting her Manager down for saying that he's going to be mad on what she would tell him about what we said about other cheddar's restaurants being better than this location. I can understand that she can be mad, but it's not right to throw everyone or a manager under the bus for something as much of a comment from a customer. I don't know if we will be going back to this location again. Basically, it said it all as soon as Jazlene R. said "We don't believe in that!", meaning she doesn't believe in a military discount and she could've said it better than putting the military down. read more

Having lived in the Caribbean, the drink did not live up to expectations. You get a croissant with honey butter while waiting for your food. I ate the bourbon salmon. It comes with rice and 2 sides. For my sides, I selected the sweet carrots and baked potato. The salmon was well done, but the sauce was served on the side. Tried this Cheddars with some family after Church. We were hesitant because of past experiences at other Cheddars but this one was good. By far the best Cheddars experience in a while. I wasn't asked what I would like to drink until after I reviewed the menu and had time to decide which item I would like and there was still a wait afterwards for to receive my drink. I came here with my friend for dinner and I had a killllllller hangover. I needed something to hit that factory reset so I had a Tito's and cran. Apparently everyone knows about the croissants so I've joined the club there. Our server was friendly and ready to answer questions, and we were grateful for the timely refills and regular check ins. Absolutely nothing positive to say about this place. Servers were over-worked; food was bland; service was luke-warm. I had the chicken-fried steak in which the batter was too thick to eat. The waiter was flustered did not really listen to our requests. Servers: listen, then respond. Just don't say "yes" before the question is asked and then forget to bring what I asked you to bring us. The food was decent our server was great, the only issue I had with this restaurant was when I ordered a 2 to go plates they took forever to bring them out then when I got home. To my surprise they messed up on both my orders. The first time I called about the issue they had me on hold for over 10 minutes then I called again to which I had to explain the issue to another person that put me on hold again for another person to come to the phone and ask for an explanation again. To which the phone started breaking up to where I couldn't hear the manager or supervisor or whoever he was so I called on a second phone and had the same issue but the manager swore the issue was on my end because they "haven't had any issues with the phone all day". The croissant was so cold the butter didn't melt. I ordered a monte cristo. They used to be good. But it arrived after 20 mins Luke warm. That sandwich is fried so it needs to be hot when served. So I returned it. Then the next one came and I think they put it in the microwave! It was 25% greasy / 25 % gross dough crust, and so I just ate the lunch meat inside. Gross. Then waitress didn't give me all my change, but kept the coins for herself. I asked her and she said well the cashier would only give me $1 bills so I kept it. What the heck? How is that YOUR choice? Well I tipped her anyways because she was very pleasant and accommodating. I feel bad she works in a restaurant with subpar food. Yesterday I had salmon (I am traveling).
