Fresh salad did not disappoint ranch dressing was tasty, large portion! Ate the whole thing!

Thursday evening I'd say around five.. greeted with a smile and I needed a quiet space. Excellent spot. Diane L was my server and made my evening so pleasant and she had such a wonderful sense of humor great conversation and with a smile each time she came over to my table! Impeccable customer service! Ask for her you won't be disappointed. I was initially served a croissant that was beyond dreamy! So light and delicious! My salad of choice was house with ranch very fresh and tasty! My main entrée was the full rack of ribs which did not disappoint. They were fall off the bone delicious sauced up so well so tender each bite was heavenly! I asked who the cook was and they said his name was John. I would hire him for my backyard barbecue actually! lol. I was so pleased with the rack of ribs , I took home a full rack to my son to go! A pleasant experience and a wonderful night! Definitely going back and the full rack of ribs will never disappoint! Ambience Pleasing. A+

We went & had lunch here today. My only complaint is that the wait was kind of long for not being crowded . Our waitress Jocelyn was really nice and a tentative to our needs. She was really on top of things and I greatly appreciate that. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger hamburger and it was amazing, my company had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and he said that was really good as well. Food was really good. Just it took a while to come out.

Country fried steak tastes dry, unlike my great uncles sardine tuna casserole, which had juice in every single bite I tell you.

The moment you step inside, the noise outside fades into something warmer -- replaced by the hum of conversation, bursts of laughter, and the comforting rhythm of a place full of life. The room buzzes with stories from long days, friends catching up over coffee, and the familiar clatter of plates and silverware. From the kitchen comes the constant symphony of sizzling grills, clanging pans, and ice tumbling into glasses, all blending together into the kind of atmosphere that feels alive rather than loud. It's the sound of comfort. And then there's the smell -- sweet maple syrup drifting through the air, butter melting slowly over stacks of golden flapjacks, fresh coffee brewing somewhere nearby. Every detail makes the diner feel less like a restaurant and more like a memory you didn't realize you missed. It's cozy, genuine, and full of warmth -- the kind of place that makes you want to stay a little longer after the meal is over.

Their customer service is amazing. Our waitress knew customer's name like they have been friends forever. Reasonable prices for the meal. I had their Abel's breakfast and it was better than average and it came out fast too. From the time we put our name on the waiting list till the time I had my meal was about 30 minutes. Not bad. It was pretty packed inside and had a country home feel with their decor. So if you're looking for a quick, decent meal that won't hurt the wallet. Look for this corner diner in the shopping center in Schertz.

As soon as I saw the Monte Cristo sandwich I knew that's what I wanted. My husband ordered country fried chicken (sauce on the side) and onion rings with a side of mac & cheese. For appetizer we ordered the fried pickles and they were delicious! Very crispy batter. They also give you complimentary corn bread and it was the best corn bread I've ever had. My Monte cristo unfortunately, was too greasy and it was deep fried so thick with batter. I only ate half of it. The waffle fries were good. Overall it was ok. Service wasn't the greatest. The young lady rarely checked on us and she seemed unsure/new to working there when we asked menu questions.

Not always in the mood for chicken and waffles, but this place has more than just that. So I was really happy to find that out. I got the fried chicken sandwich, big piece of boneless white meat chicken. Lettuce tomato and pickles. A sweet bun. My wife got the two piece fried chicken, very crisp and moist. It came with red potatoes salad. My wife loved it, but it has a sweet taste to it. I like mustard based potato salad. They have koolaid, yeah. Full bar. Clean place. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating. We were told that Sunday after church is busy, we went on a Saturday around 1pm, not too busy.

I ordered the pulled pork combo with Mac and cheese on the side. My husband ordered the brisket plate with a side of Mac and cheese and potato salad and a Sweet tea. We also ordered and pulled pork combo to go for our son. To me the pulled pork was okay. I think it needed more bbq sauce maybe. It was hard to tell what it was missing. You do have to pay extra for extra bbq sauce. We got the sweet bbq sauce an it was okay. I wasn't a fan of the Mac and cheese, I felt it needed some seasoning. The potato salad was good. My husband got the brisket and said it was a little chewy. He didn't like sweet tea, and said it had a weird taste. The food wasn't bad, it's just I had high expectations because of the what I have heard about how good it was. However, I did go when it was about an hour to closing so maybe that had something to do with it. I might try it again.

The building is easy to find, situated next to Randolph Dental and across the street from Take 5 Oil Change. Parking is straightforward. The restaurant shares an outdoor lot with several neighboring businesses, and there was plenty of parking directly in front, including clearly marked handicapped spaces, plus an additional row across from the restaurant. Inside, the space is open, comfortable, and very clean. The interior seating is well maintained, and staff were consistently attentive to keeping the dining area tidy throughout the visit. The setup feels relaxed and inviting, and it is also nice to see that outdoor seating is available if you prefer fresh air. The food was excellent. I ordered the veggie omelette with added avocado and turkey, which was savory and well balanced. The hash browns were well seasoned with a good pepper profile, and the white chocolate latte stood out in particular. It did not have the artificial syrup aftertaste that is common at many places, which made it especially enjoyable. Service is what truly made the visit stand out. Jacqueline was friendly, attentive, and helpful from start to finish. She checked in at the right moments, answered questions without rushing, and kept everything running smoothly. As a thoughtful bonus, I was also given an extra pastry, which was a pleasant surprise and a great example of genuine hospitality. If you are looking for a casual breakfast or coffee spot with a clean environment, quality food, and staff who clearly care about the customer experience, Biscuit House is well worth a visit. Keep up the great work, Jacqueline and Biscuit House Schertz.
