Filthy tables abound. Sandwiches have been pretty reliable, but there's a give a sh*t ambience about the place

This place definitely falls into the first category. This morning I went with the single origin Guatemala drip, and it was exactly what a solid cup of coffee should be. Smooth, rich, and balanced with a nice chocolate note that hangs around just long enough to make you take another sip. No bitterness. No burnt taste. Just a clean, well-roasted cup that says someone here actually cares about the beans. The shop itself has a personality, which I always appreciate. It's decorated with fishing lures, fish artwork, and sculptures scattered around the place. Naturally this leads to the obvious conclusion: the owner is either an avid fisherman... or coffee roasting is just the side hustle between trout expeditions. Either way, the theme works. The space feels relaxed, creative, and comfortable. The kind of place where you can sit with a cup and not feel rushed out the door. And speaking of doors, while I was there there was a steady flow of customers coming in and out. That's usually the universal coffee signal for yep, this place is doing something right. Bottom line: Great coffee, cool atmosphere, and a shop with enough character to keep things interesting. I'll definitely be back for another cup of that Guatemala.

Very mild chocolate, I believe it is Dutch chocolate if my memory services me not to sweet which I appreciate. It was delightfully well balanced. The coffee itself is very smooth and not bitter, excellent taste! I will be back for sure to try other options there are lots of choices. I should have taken a picture of the menu. There is ample seating both inside and outside, had I not had my toddler with me I would have loved to sit out front but it is right by the road so a no go with a rambunctious little boy... There is additional outside seating to the side and farther from the road too. I look forward to my next trip.

The parking is a bit crazy, they do have someone trying to help direct traffic through the parking lot. If you don't want to brave that though, there's plenty of street parking. It's busy but there's a lot of indoor and outdoor seating and the turnover pace is pretty good. Things can be a bit loud if you hit the crowded times, but really it's a popular spot for good reason. I got the sweet potato hash and it had the perfect mix of veggies and eggs and was cooked just right. I also tried one of their tea blends and it really hit the spot. The staff is all very friendly and helpful as well and the food comes out quickly. Anyway, great experience as always at the Grove!

The bread is clearly baked fresh and was nice and crusty on the outside and fluffy with the perfect chew on the inside. My mini me 1 inhaled her grilled cheese (of which my husband ordered the full size and also demolished his), and mini me 2 and I shared the toasted tuna melt. Good balance of tuna, celery, and bread ratio, but I didn't dig the olives in it. There's a mini kale salad that comes with entrees, and it was healthy and palatable for kale. We did end up balancing that green with the pistachio cruffin and pistachio chocolate chip cookie. Would definitely go back for the cruffin with its flaky layers and luscious pastry cream. Cookie was less impressive but still worth the impulse buy. Indoor and breezy outdoor seating available. Highly recommend!

Lots of students, young professionals, open space, lots of workspace, and all-around well designed coffeehouse. Restrooms are clean enough, Little on the large traffic side football stadium like, but they're clean and do the job. Had a great Matcha latte, as well as a chai tea latte. They know their product, and are happy to explain if you don't know something. I don't know what kind of coffee they use, but it is pretty great, so I drank a lot of it. I think their largest coffee size is 12 ounces, but for the purchase price, you can get a free refill. For me, 24 ounces of coffee per sitting is enough so I appreciated the free refill. The donuts are also pretty great and make a great complement to the coffee. I enjoyed the place so much that I even bought two of the cute coffee mugs, one for me and one for my friend who loves it. If you find yourself in the area and need a pick me up, Little Bear Coffee should be your destination. Enjoy!
