Just went here with close friends, after having attended a memorial service at Arlington National for a WW2 tail gunner. Thought we might have something nice, but, the Caesar salad had Wilted Lettuce, NOT CRISP, and the Wings, were not cooked thoroughly. My friends wife, whose father's memorial service that day, had the mushroom ravioli, and later got sick, at their hotel room. Spacious and has outdoor seating. We stopped here for dinner upon arriving in DC. We made a quick reservation prior, seated right away when we got there. Kid friendly, which is helpful since we were traveling with children. Carlos took awesome care of us and was playful in interactions with my kids. The kids menus was good, both of mine got the pizza and had no complaints. Husband enjoyed one of the specials (Rainbow trout). I was feeling a girl dinner and had the house salad and some fries. Full bar. To get the the restroom, you have to exit the restaurant into the hotel lobby and head downstairs. It was easy to find though. read more

Loved visiting Chef Geoff's during my trip to DC. Our server Fabi was so knowledgeable about the menu which helped out so much because they have an extensive menu. I went with family & friends for happy hour and the drinks were great. We ordered the siracha wings, the Cajun chicken pasta and fried green tomatoes, all reasonably priced and tasted delicious. Although the inside has a very upscale and comfortable atmosphere, the weather allowed our party of 5 to sit outside. Will definitely visit again on my next trip to DC. Thanks again Fabi! read more

I visited Chef Geoff's earlier tonight with a friend for the first time and had a great experience! We were pleased with the happy hour food deals; everything was delicious and a solid portion (we tried the pork belly quesadilla, the tuna poke bite, and the mussels). Ate there a few days ago. 5 stars for service from Carlos, but 1 star for food quality. I ordered the wedge salad and added salmon. The wedge salad part would minimally qualify as a wedge of lettuce-not just in size but was a very lose, limp lettuce. The salmon was the worst part -very poor quality salmon. Carlos was a great server, though- attentive and friendly. He also removed the salmon from my bill. I would not recommend this restaurant because of low food quality. read more

We got the Pineapple Sangria, and it was delicious. We highly recommend starting with the Egg Diablo. For our main dishes, we had the Steak & Eggs and the Florentine Benedict. The sweet and spicy cauliflower was good with the first bite. It became too sweet after that. We also ordered the rigatoni with wild boar Bolognese for take out for the kids one night. Come to their happy hour (weekdays from 3-6pm) for specials. They have a good selection of beer, wine, and cocktails ($3.50-$10). Their burgers are $5 off and pizzas $4 off. Tried their "straight up pizza" with a glass of wine while my companion had the rigatoni a la vodka. Both dishes were superb and of high quality. The pasta had good flavor without being drowned in a ton of pink sauce. The pizza came with the signature perfect char on the bottom of the crust. The crust was also thin, crispy and slightly chewy on the ends. The cheese was not greasy and the sauce was just the perfect amount to complement the cheese.
