The decor seems perfect for fried chicken eating--lots of exposed brick, and some interesting paintings of blues artists. Our server today was a real easy of sunshine. He seemed to have a genuine smile on his face the entire time. I commented to my friend that he just seemed like a happy guy. The manager came by and asked how everything was. I love when managers check in! If you have never been to Gus's, put it in your list! You won't be sorry!

The ribs were surprisingly just as delightful as the first day! This order has intrigued me to take a trip to the establishment to see the ambiance of dining in, and the service the staff provides. The Nana's Soul plate used to come with more than two ribs, then it was reduced to two, and now it's down to just one unless you pay extra for another. The plate also used to include all three sides--mac and cheese, collard greens, and beans--along with cornbread. Now you're limited to choosing only two sides, and the cornbread is gone. It's disappointing to see how much the restaurant has declined since the beloved Nana passed away. I hate to say it, but I won't be returning.
