Went here while traveling to Amherst from NY ... read the YELP reviews & decided to check it out. YES the parking was the hardest as previous reviews have suggested. Really difficult specially if you have a SUV. The breakfast was okay. A bit bland. Nothing special to write home about. After requesting the eggs to be well done but not burnt, it was burnt & running ... not flipped around. The veg omelettes were okay ... not much flavor. The coffee was fresh & we definitely enjoyed it & requested refills. Service was good, very welcoming when we walked in. Our waitress took our orders quickly. While we were waiting for our breakfast, our server started talking in spanish while she was wiping down the other tables, to the cook who was across the counter preparing our breakfast. I don't mind them talking but you don't need to be loud and yelling your conversation in the entire seating area (mind you its not that big a seating area) ... that was a bit annoying & disturbing. We had a YELP check-in for 20% & they refused to honor it. Had to argue about it. Credit card fees are added on the bill without notification. Make sure you have enough cash if you don't want to pay extra credit card fees.

    Cozy up at the counter.

Ambience is strange but accommodating. Food is stellar. Service was warm and friendly. I'd return 4 sure.

What a little gem we found. Waiting for a family member having a procedure in downtown Stamford, looked up this diner. Convinced my picky 15 year old son to try it. We settled on the breakfast special. It came with either pancakes or french toast. So we ordered opposites, he pair his with bacon and scrambled eggs, I had over medium with bacon delicious! The parking lot was the hardest part of the visit. The place reminds me of the 50s typical long diner with old stools and 7 tables. My son is a country boy. This city experience I hope he enjoyed.

Staff mopping. Trying to give us an extra hint to leave the premises!

The bar staff was extremely rude and unpleasant. I ordered my second cocktail around 9:15 pm. At about 9:20 pm my party was presented with the check. One person in our group went to the restroom and the barman said he could only split the bill among 4 credit cards. I said I would pay in cash and he reluctantly split the bill in 5. I have never felt like I was being escorted out of a bar like this! I am sure the owner would not be pleased with this kind of rude service!! Around 9:25 pm 3 employees were standing with their arms crossed at the bar giving me and my friend glaring stares! To top it off, someone started mopping the bar area!

Literally wanted to try this place since I moved to Stamford in June. Finally did today with my daughter for a yummy breakfast. Didn't miss a mark. They had everything I wanted. All cooked perfectly. All how I asked for it. Couldn't beat that. Service was good. Not sure how they're not so busy but I hope that they are given more because yum. I want you stay open. Walked from my home by cove beach. Has browns instead of homefries just made me so happy as an option. Crepes were delish. I wanted plain with just lemon and butter and powdered sugar and they let me have it my way. I really appreciate that. Nutella pancakes with strawberries Happy Happy.

I would definitely visit again when I'm back in Connecticut. I'm lactose intolerant so I couldn't enjoy the coffee (they don't have alternatives for milk) but they do have options for sugar like Splenda or Equal.

This place was great. Very reasonable prices and staff were friendly. Spanish omelette was on point. Very small old timey feel.

Is this a black owned business? It's listed as such on uber eats and I'd love to confirm (and continuing supporting). Would love to know more about the owners in general, as this is a total hidden gem!

I got the chicken pimiento and spicy margarita, highly recommend both. Also, our party had brought our own cake for my uncle's birthday, and I knew I couldn't eat it and didn't mind, but the staff brought me out my own personal little gluten free chocolate cake, and it was a delicious surprise!! I was so grateful for this that I will definitely be back :)

As I loved the food that I ate when in Barcelona, Spain, I decided to give this restaurant a try…read more It seems to be very popular and was one of the more lively restaurants on Summer St in downtown Stamford. I was lucky to snag the last outdoor patio table available as there were no reservations available when I looked earlier in the day. My server was friendly and helped me to select a delicious nebiollo wine to accompany my meal. The menu is all tapas, and three were plenty for one person. I ordered my favorite, jamon Iberico, chorizo, and the grilled broccoli. Out of all three items, the broccoli was the "star" of the meal! It had a hint of charcoal flavor from the grill, and was topped with caramelized shallots and sliced red chilis. The jamon Iberico was not the freshly sliced that I expected, but seemed to be the prepackaged version. I should've inquired in advance about the chorizo preparation. It was the dried chorizo, thinly sliced, not to cooked kind. Overall, my meal was good, but I would order different meat items if visiting in the future.

We found Cosecha's by accident. We were looking for a place to drop in for breakfast. Cosechas…read morepopped up in our search. We were very lucky it popped up. Everything about Cosecha's is great. I'm not a Colombian food expert, so I can't say if it was traditional or not. But we really liked what we had!! We had a few empanadas as appetizers. They were really good. Nice crispy outside, and stuffed full on the inside. We could tell they were freshly handmade. They were clearly not frozen. The coffee is perfect. It had a robust coffee flavor. Not a bitter or burnt flavor, but a full coffee flavor, with a slight hint of cocoa. Staff is very friendly and attentive. They know all the dishes. I wasn't sure what to order. I told the waitress I was really hungry and asked what's popular. She suggested Calentado. It's a dish with eggs, rice & beans, meat, and cheese topped arepa. Meat choices are chicken, steak, ground beef, or chorizo. I tried the chicken. The waitress recommended scrambled eggs with onions and peppers. Our food came out very quickly. The plates of food were enormous. Each plate had enough food for two people. And everything was great! They have a large assortment of pastries and desserts up front. Unfortunately, I was too full to try any. They seem to be very popular in the neighborhood. While we ate, we noticed the staff joke around with people who popped in for coffee, sandwiches, or desserts. There are a lot of regulars. Tables, counters, and floors are clean. Take out refrigerators are stocked well. Popular music plays at proper levels. Loud enough that you can hear it, but not so loud that you can't hear each other. We will definitely be back again for breakfast. We will also come back for lunch, dinner, and desserts. Check it out if you're in the area.
