Really Great Food!!! This was our first time visiting this restaurant and we definitely recommend it to all. I had the flautas (chicken & beef brisket), my husband had the two chicken tacos, both were very tasty. We will be going back to try other meals. This place was very clean, the staff seemed very friendly, great place for families, tv screens in the small bar section, and plenty seating for a small restaurant. Fabulous food and great service! We love this place because it is big and roomy and they can fit a lot of people. Their swirl margaritas are AWESOME! I do agree, the queso really needs something more to it, it just tastes like thick melted cheese, i wish it had some sort of other seasoning to it. But we really have never had a bad meal there, and lately we have been dining there at least once a week. First time at this place. It's kind of small but nice. The staff was really nice and quick. I'm a chip and salsa fan but I didn't really like the chips here. The salsa was a little salty too. Our food came out pretty quickly. Everything was really good. I had the pollo a la crema with cilantro rice and tortilla soup (delicious!) My husband has the appetizer platter with taquitos, quesadillas and nachos. Let me tell you...the taquitos were soooooo good!! I wanted to trade my plate in for his hahaha. The prices are great too! This place is decent. I found out about them with their Facebook ads being plastered everywhere and their food looked really good. We came on a Friday night for dinner and were sat immediately. Our waiter came pretty quickly and got our drink orders. One thing that was really cool was that their happy hour ended about 5 minutes in, and they still honored their happy hour price on their drinks. Their margarita was pretty strong which is great that they didn't skimp out on it. I ordered their beef tacos and they were pretty average in taste. Their rice was really tasty but their beans were alright. I didn't really figure out if there was an option to switch out beans since default was refried. Although the food was pretty average (as well as price), I would probably stick to another place. However, I will give their customer service mad props. The waiter was fast and attentive yet wasn't too bothersome to us, and we were checked on by either the owner or the manager. read more

This restaurant has great authentic Tex mex food. The menu has a very good variety of fish poultry beef chicken and seafood options!

I come here at least once maybe twice a week for a light lunch. Usually get the soup and salad or fajitas (both have always been great). But what really makes me keep coming back is the awesome hospitality. The manger on duty always greets and small talks with me and the one waitress that's always there at lunch is awesome. Service was very attentive but food was okay. Ordered Carne Asada Tacos, Street Tacos, kids chicken nachos. All the meat were over cooked and dry. It was hard to swallow. Our kids didn't even eat their meal at all. The salsa is nice and spicy though. We will probably won't go back again. read more

I dine at Chepa's at least twice a week, and they are always excellent! Chepa's is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in the DFW metroplex, and I've eaten nearly every where. The atmosphere is wonderful and clean, the service is always fantastic, and the food is delicious! I have loved everything I've tried, and I've now tried most of the menu. My favorite dish is the Aubuelita's Street Tacos. I also really like the Calabacita's - it's a delicious mix of sautéed veggies! The reviews definitely don't match the experience. Order carne asada plate and it was a cheap rib eye type of meat. Super fatty and chewy, seemed like a short cut to actual carne asada. The drinks were good however, so that's the one star. Also the server were very friendly as my newborn had a small meltdown and thy offered to turn the music. Perfect Cinco de Mayo dinner. Just came here for the first time on Cinco de Mayo after trying to find a new place to celebrate the holiday. We liked how they had balloons and decorations everywhere making It feel that much more festive. Although the long wait was to be expected, about an hour, we were really hoping the food would make up for it and it did not disappoint! The waiter let us know that the kitchen was behind and that our food might be delayed so that was a good heads up since it was so busy, and said he would hold us over with chips and drinks, etc, but it actually didn't even take that long for our food. Our server, a young tall thin Hispanic male, was constantly checking on us, giving us more chips and salsa and our apps and drinks came out fast. We were super impressed by his service, politeness, recommendations, and attentiveness, and everything we tasted was absolutely delicious and even the presentation of the food was still nice on such a busy day. We ordered Toto's Queso with our chips which was amazing. My wife had the shrimp tacos which she loved and I ordered the Appetizer Platter for my meal which had delicious quesadillas, probably the best flautitas Ive had, but by far my favorite were the steak fajita nachos, something I've never had before. Everything was so flavorful. We had a lot of food to-go and our server recommended we use our air fryer if we have one to reheat our food to perfection which was a nice reminder. Been living in the area, Twin Creeks, for over 20 years and was excited to try a New Mexican restaurant in our neighborhood vs heading up to Stacy Road in Fairview. Our waiter did not speak much English and came across rude and cold. The man who greeted us was nice and welcoming. The restaurant was also very noisy. They need to add some softscapes to absorb the sound in the place. Lots of echoes. Chips tasted stale but salsa was very good. Had the appetizer platter and was OK but wondered if it was Sysco since it came out so quickly. Will not be returning. read more

Came here for brunch and had the pleasure of having Jessica serve us. The muñecas were fantastic and came with a sopapilla at the end. The level of service from Jessica was nothing short of excellent, she was incredibly attentive and very professional and made us feel right at home. The quality of food was phenomenal and 2 dollar mimosas were a huge bonus. Will absolutely be returning. Chepa's is a restaurant a bit hidden back in a shopping center however this little gem has some of the best Tex-Mex/Authentic Mexican dishes I've ever had in Allen. Price is pretty average but the food quality is well above average. I've never had a bad experience even trying out dishes I'd normally shy away from. read more

This was an amazing find. The restaurant is small and very busy because the food is very good. My wife, son and I all ordered different taco dishes and I tried each. The Cheba's tacos were three brisket tacos served with some avocado slices and a pico de gallo, nice and simple but delicious. My wife ordered the Lola's tacos with fajita beef, I liked mine better than her's but it was still good. My son ordered the taco dinner and it was 3 ground beef tacos which were also quite tasty. Lastly we ordered the flan and churros. The flan was a little bitter and the churros were a bit dry but all and all a great dinner. read more
