This is fancy quiet, dimly lit restaurant where the wall is filled with books which lives up to it's name. We came here prior to watching The Magician Study which is right next door to it. The combo of the two makes it a really good date night or entertainment night if that is something you're looking for. We ordered the branzino and the filet mignon which were really good choices that didn't taste the same. Filet mignon was really something standard but the branzino was really the best dish for me as it was packed with flavor. Ironically, the most interesting part for me was the Old Fashioned with Tequila. I went with the bartender's choice for drink and this is what they came up with. This is definitely a recommendation I'd suggest if you're not much of a whiskey drinker. This is a very intimate restaurant and is fairly quiet. The environment and atmosphere is the really the main reason why we came to this place. The food and drinks were just a nice touch to complete the whole experience. Cute. Curtained off room that really resembles a dimly lit library with multiple levels of book shelves. Service is quick at the counter. Not much more to say. Cocktail menu looks solid. There's basically a dealer's choice option on the menu where you can let the the bartender know if you want something spirit forward or sweet. Companion selected this and offered a few notes and got back a Negroni-type drink that they were happy with. Decent place to grab a drink especially if you're waiting in the magic show next door. But note that this closes quite early, as we tried to return later for more and had to look elsewhere. read more

Walking into the dining room at The library was an experience in itself. The combination of dark wood accents, books lining the walls, and the elegant atmosphere created an incredible ambiance from the moment we arrived. I was celebrating my birthday, and the team accommodated us in a private room, which made the evening feel even more special. My husband and I went to The Library at Park MGM. We had originally planned to celebrate Valentine's Day there but, due to our schedule with work and traveling, we decided to reschedule for a later date. Our reservations were for 5:00 PM on a Friday when, unbeknownst to us, there was a Las Vegas Golden Knights hockey game! As such, there was a good amount of energy around the area! Overall, however, the night turned out to be quite enjoyable and a nice way to celebrate belatedly! As soon as we walked into the restaurant, the entire atmosphere felt truly unique and beautiful. The restaurant itself was set inside a large room with tall shelves filled with books. This created a very cozy and library type atmosphere that sets this restaurant apart from many others along the strip. We were seated at a booth style table within the main dining area. The booth was spacious enough to allow us to dine comfortably while allowing us a full view of the dining area. The ambiance of the restaurant alone made the dining experience feel like something special. The service throughout the entire evening was phenomenal probably the best part of the whole evening. The staff were very attentive, extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure that we were taken care of all through the evening. This definitely added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening and helped to create an amazing atmosphere for us to enjoy the evening in. As for the food, we began with the French Onion Soup, which had a lot of onions, however, there wasn't enough broth. The flavor was good though. We also ordered the Gruyère Popovers. Unfortunately, they were burned on the bottom, and I was only able to eat a couple of bites. The salad was delicious though! I ordered the filet mignon for my entree. My husband ordered the roasted pork chop. The filet mignon I ordered was good. It was cooked medium well and tasted yummy. However, the croquette served with the filet mignon was very small and didn't have too much flavor. The pork chop my husband ordered was a much larger disappointment. The pork chop was extremely dry and very tough. The pork chop was also difficult to cut. The mashed potatoes were smooth and scrumptious! While the food was just average, overall, the experience of dining at The Library was wonderful. We are happy that we got the opportunity to dine at this new restaurant, and although the food did not meet our expectations of what the other aspects of the experience offered, it is certainly a unique and memorable location in Las Vegas and will be remembered for its setting! read more

Loved the library theme in this restaurant! Every book is real, and you can even take out the books on the first shelf and look at them. Everything reminded me of Belle's library from Beauty and the Beast (there's even a staircase up!) The branzino was pretty good, and the star of the show was on fire! This place was amazing. We ordered an appetizer and drinks, but the highlight of the night was the beef short rib pithivier. The tuna tartare was fresh. The pithivier was heaven. The short rib was cooked for 48 hours. Then it was wrapped in a puff pastry. It was accompanied by a foie gras mignonette. There were some peppercorns in the mignonette. The puff pastry was so flaky. The short rib was succulent. You just wanted to eat more and more of it. Everything was just perfect. Additionally, I got the bee knees as my cocktail. It was sweet and yummy. So glad I stumbled on The Library before our trip to Vegas. This ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. This beautiful restaurant features four walls, floor to ceiling with books. What a fantastic dining experience! From the moment we checked in, and led to the waiting room, I knew it was going to be a good time. I'm all about vibes and they know what they're doing! The dining room is a huge library with old books and dimly lit. It's so beautiful. We started with a few cocktails because you have to! Espresso martini and bees knees. If you like honey, the bees knees is for you. The food was also pretty great. We weren't too hungry, so we just got our mains (halibut and wagyu) and a side of creamed spinach. Halibut is can be tough in texture, but the sauce that was served with it balanced it extremely well. Next time, I'm definitely getting the seafood tower! read more

It was good, but nothing to make me want to come back. The ribeye cap steak was cooked nicely, but the quality of steak wasn't what I expected. I honestly make a better rib cap at home with meat from Costco. They are also very stingy with the potato puree. However, the potato puree and steak together were very delicious. The Caesar salad was average, and again, stingy on the croutons and Parmesan cheese. The cookies and cream dessert was a disappointment. The vanilla ice cream was full of salt and the creme brulee seemed to be missing something. The service was top notch though. My teenager found this spot on Instagram, go figure. I looked up the menu and said alright... let's give it a shot. Ambiance, check! Service, check! Food, check check check. We ordered the Gruyère popovers, the wedge salad, two filets, creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, and of course the truffle fries! All of it was amazing! I am a pretty avid steak eater and this filet was like butter, no knife needed and flavor was on point. It was a few days after my 40th Birthday and they brought out a cute birthday dessert and we ordered the cheesecake (definitely homemade). The decor is warm, inviting, and makes for a really fun backdrop for photos. Vegas has a lot of gimmicky restaurants and this was not one of them. I'll start by saying that how they transformed an exceptionally boring, constrained space is world class masterful. So well done. I didn't care to bring a real camera for something like this, but even with decent iPhone shots (attached) - it really needs to be seen first hand. For a quick, first dinner, we ordered fairly light - popover (GREAT), wedge salad, french onion soup, yellowtail crudo, halibut, creamed spinach, and bolognese for the kids. But the real star of the evening was the Beef Pithivier - we ordered TWO of those. Amazing. Had a Baked Alaska for dessert. Pretty good, but not the best Baked Alaska we've had. It was a bit noisier than I expected, and there was plenty of tableside theater happening, especially with the baked Alaskas being flambéed around the room featuring pineapple sorbet, which sounded lovely, but we opted to skip dessert this time. The food largely impressed. The tuna tartare, prepared tableside, was a standout--and huge, since we ordered a double portion for our party of four. The branzino was perfectly cooked and deboned. The only miss for me was the steak, which leaned a bit chewy. Dimly lit, and lined with rows upon rows of books, this place has a real speak easy meets posh library kind of vibe. The menu isn't huge, but the food is amazing.... Many of the dishes are al a carte style. Meaning the protein you order may not come with sides. (Sides are about $20 each and serves two people.) Our group of four ordered a dozen raw oysters (10/ out of 10 MUST try), the 2.5 lb lobster, live weight not dressed weight (8/10), the pork chop (10/10), and the risotto (9/10). The place was packed, so it took a while to get our food but the food was delicious and spiced perfectly. This place is perfect for date night, anniversaries, or close family get togethers. Let's start with the good. The ambiance is unique and elegantly beautiful surrounded by rows of REAL books! It has a dark and sexy vibe. The food was great. We enjoyed our meal and everything was seasoned and cooked well. I got a complimentary raspberry cotton candy for my birthday which was actually pretty good. We left full and happy. It was easy to book a reservation online but note you must put down a credit card for a late cancellation fee of $25 per person if you cancel within 24 hours of your reservation time. Expect to spend around $120-150 per person. Now things they can work on: - although our server was friendly, he was MIA for most our dinner. The manager had to come by and inform us the kitchen was running behind - the service was super slow, even though the restaurant wasn't full. It took over 15 minutes to order our food and another 45 minutes before our entrees came out. They really should be communicating when the kitchen is backed up. - the tables are way too close to each other. You are only allowed to sit in the coveted booths if you have a party of 4-6. Otherwise you're sitting at a small table which is so close to the next one that I can smell the food from the next table and hear our neighbors' full conversations. For an upscale dinner, you want some privacy to enjoy your meal. - the prix fixe food options are quite small so if you're hungry, I'd recommend you get a regular entree and sides. Worth a stop to see the beautiful display of books once but not sure if I'll be a regular here given the price point and slow service. read more

This neat restaurant tucked away in the Park MGM casino is one to check out. The ambiance itself is worth highlighting as it looks as if you were in a library. My family and I had an amazing experience here. We saw the videos online, but even then, we were still given that "wow" factor when we first walked in. You immediately feel like you are transported elsewhere (beauty in the beast, dark academia, library in Europe, fantasy vibes), the interior was so beautiful and we loved that the books were real. The food was incredible. I got the PRIME 18 OZ. RIBEYE medium rare, which was so buttery, juicy, and tender - perfectly seasoned. I'm still dreaming about it. The portion size was quite large, so we probably could have split this between two people. My sister got the set dinner menu with the chicken (which was also super tender and not dry at all) and my mom got the Alaskan Halibut (which had a nice kick flavor as well). For dessert, I got a complimentary cotton candy and the server mentioned there was a surprise mango jelly in the middle. We also ordered the Baked Alaska, which they flambéed at our table side. Absolutely delicious as well and the perfect way to end the meal (although the rum was quite strong on the meringue). The dessert from my sister's set meal was also just the perfect kind of dark chocolate flavors that I love. The servers were kind and ultimately rounded out this experience as a 10/10 (also helped us take a nice group photo at our table and with the restaurant). Although I was there for a big group dinner I was thinking how romantic this place would be and for a date night another time. We really enjoyed the atmosphere it's so classy and the high ceilings and decor were stunning! Our server was Shane and he was amazing. He was very attentive and friendly! All of our food came out perfect and we really enjoyed everything. We ordered steak, branzino and sides for the table and a vegan risotto. Everything was sooo delicious beyond words. I typically travel to Los Angeles for work about 3-4 times a year. In March we have our annual meeting. This year our boss pulled a big surprise and booked our annual meeting in Vegas. Vegas excursion as a team he chose Babette's. A great steak house in the Park MGM and we all arrived with wet palettes and empty stomachs. "Reservation for 30. Company name given." Uh... your reservation is for tomorrow. Dunt dunt duuuuuuuunt... ok... we pivot. The host at Bavette's was kind of enough to get us a reservation at The Library. Also in the Park MGM. As we waited to get the room ready for us. We sat in a bar/waiting area for The Library just across from the actual restaurant. Super great idea. More restaurant should do this. We finally get seated and my bosses announces he had a great menu planned, but we changed location so everyone order what you want. What transpired was one long table of shareable seafood platters, steaks, and tons of sides. Everyone sat in there seats for a very short period of time before we were all up and walking around. Everyone chatting, picking from any dish they wanted as they ventured around the table. Having wine and drinks. As all the main course dishes emptied and desserts were ordered, our boss made another announcement. The price value of our meal at The Library was far cheaper than that of the Bavette's menu. That said... he ordered bottles of Coquet and Crystal champagnes to go along with the Caviar he also ordered. Talk about an amazing experience. The restaurant had a denesque decor with a studious vibe to it. It was quiet and relaxing. I loved the service and ended the evening with a taste of Louie the 14th. I LOVE the sexy grown feeling of this place. In such a crazy busy place like Vegas this place gives you intimate, quiet, sexy, and calm vibes. It's darkly lit and feels tucked away. We had a family style dinner here and they gave us the private dinning room for our large group. It was probably a party of 16 or more people. We had a choice of their summer prix fix menu or a la carte. The drinks were delicious and food was yummy. Portions aren't huge, but you're paying for the ambience. I ordered a filet mignon which was delicious. I was still full from brunch so I don't remember many details on the steak taste, but I did eat half of it. The location is at Park MGM which is a bit outside of the strip center. I took an uber because of my heels and it was a 15 min drive from Flamingo cause of traffic. Bathrooms are huge, clean, and aesthetic as well. Staff were kind and helpful! They were able to split the check as needed among the large group. We were able to bring cake it was a small personal size cake, but cutting it was $65 I believe. Overall, it's always a great time here at Nomad. read more

The library has it in spades as far as ambience. Truly extraordinary. This place drips in warm elegant decor and would make a bibliophile feint with cool vibe. I sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple fabulous cocktails while awaiting the rest of the party. Friendly competent bartenders and guests willing to chat with a stranger, 10! The value for these drinks is where I choke. $27.00 a drink seemed an incredibly steep price. Unfortunately I didn't realize this til it was too late. When the rest of my party arrived we were seated in the main Library dining area and were all ready to enjoy a great meal. It took a long time to even have someone take our drink order and I found it quite odd that they brought one obvious cocktail in a large wine glass. Not how they served these same cocktails in the bar. Odd. I had perused the menu prior to arrival so I knew exactly what I'd order. The branzino was so completely enveloped in the crunch sauce, I could barely find my fish. The decadent Crab Mac and cheese with black truffle had neither crab, nor black truffle. Both very disappointing. The wedge salad was chopped up and tasted like it was simply mixed with mayonnaise. Yuck factor of 9! All three dishes were sad to say the least. No one was happy with their dinner selections and when the bill came we were even sadder. The Library has 1/2 the equation down but if you aren't serving food that satisfies then what's the point. One at our table ordered the lobster bolognese and it was possibly the worst dish ordered. The spaghetti was simply chopped up with not a long noodle to be found and lobster was completely devoid in this dish. Sad, sad sad.. read more

Second Time here since April and will continue coming back to this incredibly wonderful restaurant! Ambiance is dark and warm and feels like that cozy room of books you want in your home somewhere. The service is very professional and efficient with the management server who takes orders )and checks in just enough during meal and ends the meal experience ,along with drink and meal servers working together like a well oiled machine without intruding on your time there. Hard to explain and so pleasant. The food? Well, I love the Alaskan Halibut - chef's kiss! Cooked perfectly with the potato puree that has a butter and caviar to season and blend in the most delicious way! Beautifully presented as well. We had previously gone to the Nomad Bar and were impressed with the dood and service, however it's currently closed for renovations so I made us a reservation at the restaurant. It's just like a library inside with walls of books which is great. I did find the tables were pretty close together (luckily we were seated at a 4 person table so had more space). We did the summer menu, which was a great way to try everything. My friend had the chicken, which she said was good. I enjoyed the risotto, but glad I added the ! Service was a bit slow; our cocktail's didnt come out until after the first course and right before the second course. When we ordered wine and coffee after the second course, it took a bit of time as well. Would definitely go back for the food. Service definitely needs an upgrade! read more
