I LOVE THIS PLACE! ! ! Recently I purchased a new toy hauler. Limited with space, I decided (upon the referral of a friend who also uses the facility) to use Cherry & Carson RV storage. I did so after comparing prices and actually visiting several storage lots in town. Nothing even came close to these guys. The price is right, they have wash stations, dump station/ refuse and storage for almost everything you can imagine! I can pull the rig in, dump, wash the outside and clean out the inside without any hassle or wait. The lot is well laid out and provides for easy access through one of three entrance/exit points and roomy enough to maneuver around. SECURITY is key here. Cameras that are monitored day and night. Staff on premises 24 hours. I think that's the best part. Well, next to the fact that I have access almost every day of the year that I'd need it. The storage lot offers me the flexibility of being able to have a serviceman come out if needed for repairs. Also the flexibility to be able to work on my rig (certainly within reason). The staff is friendly and informative. Made an online reservation to store trailer. When I arrived they would not store due to registration issue. I understand that they have rules but the way the worker talked to me was rude and condescending - made me feel like I had stole the trailer. I don't know the requirements to store vehicles so if he had kindly explained them I would have complied and come back when I got the paperwork in order. But not only was he rude he insulted me. I would rather pay more and do business with a storage lot that actually cares about their customers. read more

Talked with Steve on the phone during the week to discuss our options. I showed up Saturday afternoon like he asked me to do. We checked out the spot we talked about, he assisted with parking the trailer to make sure it fit and back to the office to complete the paperwork. All said in done in less than an hour. Philip is such a dear, sweet angel of a person. I've called a couple of times asking about vehicle storage since I needed to verify what documents are needed for my somewhat complicated situation, and he has always been so patient and helpful in answering all my questions. Melinda also took the time to answer my questions via e-mail as well. I'm really happy with my experience with them. I reserved a 30' spot online and brought my Toy Hauler over from another storage lot where I also had a 30' spot. The day I arrived I was charged for the month and a $15 administrative fee. Then they measured my toy hauler and it measured a hair over 30' and they told me I would have to go with a 35' spot because they don't allow you to stick out at all, not even an inch. So then they charged me the difference for the larger spot and a $15 transfer fee even though I had never even parked in the spot! It was at this point I knew I did not want to keep my rig stored here. A few days later I receive a phone call from the manager saying I owed an additional $23, and despite me asking several times I am still unclear what that charge was for. As soon as the month was over I moved to another storage yard. I will never do business with this company again and made sure to tell all my friends to avoid this place like the plague. This company is extremely greedy and picky. They should make it very clear how picky they are about the length of your rig so you don't reserve a spot you stick out of, but I'm sure they do this on purpose so they can charge you an additional transfer fee. read more

I had previously left a good review but things have changed. Buyer beware! The storage space they initially gave us was large enough but we could not get our trailer parked there because of other things parked in front of it. They then gave us an alternate space which worked but we soon found out it had been reserved! Bottom line we wanted a refund they said we don't give refunds. We did get a partial refund like they were doing us a big favor! They're laughing all the way to the bank!!! read more

I'm very pleased with the services provided by Cherry Carson RV & Storage. I've been a customer for 2 years and will continue to be.

I would give zero stars if possible. The manager, an older man, is completely rude and obnoxious and lacks any customer service/people skills. I would rather not have a place to store my camper than to deal with him. My husband spoke to a couple different people here and came to look a a spot. They were nice enough to hold it temporarily, but we could not get back on Saturday as planned as we were at our daughter's 16th birthday party. They agreed to hold until 2pm Sunday. Very nice of them. But that's where it ended. No one told us to bring the sales contract for the RV that we were intending to store. My husband left me at the location to initiate the paperwork while he went home to pick up the sales paperwork. I spoke with This manager and explained that my husband went to get the paperwork but would not be back by their 2pm deadline. He stated that my husband should have rented the space the day before instead of going to San Diego. I explained that it was our daughter's 16th birthday party and we had a party & guests. He stated that it was our problem and that he had a business to run and none of that mattered. He was so RUDE that I walked out and refused to allow our trailer there, as I would have to deal with him each time we came here. As s business owner myself, I was appalled at his behavior. My review of this place is one that comes from actually not finishing my business with them. Myself and one of my guys where treated extremely rude and were threaten with legal action. They contradict themselves and when you try to explain yourself to them, they just blow up and yell and scream. Thank the good Lord that I don't actually store any of my belongings at this place.
